When this store first opened, and for a couple years after, it had a great selection of board games. Almost two short aisles worth. There used to be a lot of titles to look at. They even had Kickstarters if I remember correctly, Just went in there the other day looking to buy, and walked out in less than three minutes. They have practically NO BOARD GAMES ANY MORE. They had a skinny, double-sided book case display with games, probably about 15 titles (and all small games at that) . Yep, that's it! The place has miniatures for skirmish like games coming out their ears if you're into that. I don't know what happened. Clearly their customers are not board gamers. If you're looking for board games then try the Walmart across the street. I guarantee they will have a superior selection. Better yet go to the Gaming Goat up in north Mesa or Athoria Games in Tempe.

People were coming in making trades and selling cards as well. Overall, I can't wait to come back again!

Trading Card Club is a relatively small location but comes in big when it comes to those three categories. The service is great. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and I never once got the sense I was being taken advantage of or was just another customer. They treat my son very well and seem to treat all their young clientele very friendly, which is obviously a key thing that brought us back. You should note that if the shop gets busy, there's limited staff--trading card shops can't have 20 people working the counters--so you may have to be patient. If patience isn't your game, trading cards might not be the right place for you to be anyway, but always enjoy the friendly attitudes and vibes this shop gives off. Whether you're hanging around, opening a box, or just browsing, it's always a chill experience. They also run events and promotions, so keep an eye out for that. And I would note: do your due diligence before bringing in things to sell, because they're not going to buy a giant box of worthless baseball cards, nor are they going to want to comb through 2,000 of your old grandfather's card collection. They will buy solid, valuable assets that they can resell effectively. It is a shop that will obviously give you store credit if desired, which will likely exceed the amount of cash you'll get, but the amount of times I've seen people bring in stuff that they just would never buy in a million years is plentiful. So if you're looking to sell a junk box of cards, I would try Facebook Marketplace and not this shop. Also--side bonus--they have a shop puppy that sometimes hangs out in the front.

Track fee is $10 per day/night, or you can sign up for the monthly membership at $50 which also includes free competition entry. The shop is run by father-son duo, Rob and Shane, and they're two of the most helpful guys to have around; helping all of their new and returning customers stay out on track. Track quality is extremely nice, polished concrete which really helps for realistic scale drifting. The shop also sells RC Rock Crawler, Mini-Z, Kei Truck and others but it's certainly mostly centered around drifting. Great group of customers returning here - everyone just wants to have a good time and help each other out. Incredibly glad to have found this spot, and it's for sure my new haunt. Mind you I wouldn't gaf if it was a weekly but this is a Skirmish which I planed weeks ahead for.... And again skirmish are suppose to be bigger events then weeklies. The employee near me was coughing and blowing her nose and placed the tissue in her pocket. I felt this was very unsanitary, especially since she was stocking items and touching them with unclean hands. I was immediately frustrated and uncomfortable and left within two minutes of arriving. Imagine Spirit Halloween on steroids. The store is separated into different sections that are run by different vendors. They also have rooms in the back like the room of oddities with creepy antique dolls and other weird items. There is also a rotating photo set that people can take pictures on and use the props! This time around they had The Saw movie set and it looked exactly like the movie. So cool!! One of the vendors in the shop offered different themed and surprise boo buckets and I ended up purchasing one for a gift. I think the value for most of these items is fair and priced right. Melda was super cool and told me about all of the events they put on, including the movie night they host at the Pollack Cinemas. Everyone working was really nice and friendly.
