Came here because the reviews were so good but was very let down and disappointed. I got the chicken shawarma and my boyfriend got the beef/ lamb shawarma. We came in an hour before closing and I mean... I understand it's close to closing but we're still customers!!! Service was bad!! Not even a smirk on either of the two faces. Tried to be understanding, however the way our questions were being answered... not acceptable. Came off so rude!!!! I wanted to like this place. For some reason, I've been having a lot of shawarma related things pop up in my social media. Finally had my chance when I walked by this place. Unfortunately, it didn't meet up to par. Got a chicken shawarma but the chicken was too dry to enjoy. Packed it with some veggies, garlic paste, and hummus and all, but if the meat ain't juicy, then this ain't it. One positive note is that they do give you a decent amount of chicken but I didn't enjoy the wrap... maybe I'll try beef if I give it a second chance? read more

No... just no. What in the world food are you all eating that this place got such a high rating? This food was Not Good, the words I used while eating it was "this is disgusting." They were stingy on all of our meal, I had to keep asking for more or I'd have literally had no food. We actually walked out and asked "should we go get jimmy johns" because my husband and I were so hungry still. When I asked what rating my husband would give, he said "we're never coming back, I'd give a zero." And then he threw his food away. So basically no food, and what we did have was completely bland and devoid of any flavor. My husband for the chicken shawarma, and had the same experience. Additionally, my falafel was highly over cooked. Finally, If you have any allergy, this is not your place. I don't know a more polite way to say this, and I would never shame anyone trying to speak a second or maybe their third language. But when you're running a food establishment, You Have to understand enough English to be able to understand people's questions relating to your food. I ordered a shawarma, a cheese manakeesh and beef manakeesh. The shawarma was average, i asked for garlic sauce on the side which they didnt honor. Inside the shawarma was only supposed to have lettuce, feta cheese and meat. There was no feta cheese, and they put onion, tomato and chopped eggplant inside the shawarma. They didn't provide either of the Manakeesh' at all. Instead they gave a few small meat topped pies, and a few small pieces that looked similar to sambosas. Uber eats gives restaurants the option to refund items that were ordered but are out of stock. They chose to provide me with random items I never authorized, instead of doing the right thing and refunding me. I would avoid at all cost. read more

I came here randomly because I was in the area and they were nearby and I was very hungry. I came in and everybody was super friendly and nice and it smelled amazing as soon as you walked in the door. I had originally tried to order the platter but there was a miscommunication and they thought I said to Shawarma bowls and so I just went with that instead haha. A single bowl is huge enough to count as two meals so I've spaced out my two bowls to cover 4 meals so it's very cost-effective. I also couldn't resist getting a side of falafel and was really impressed when he scooped the falafel into the fryer as I ordered them... so they were handmade as soon as I ordered and they came out hot and fresh and totally delicious. I did not see gyro on the menu but I asked. They said yes but gave me a wrap. Took one bite and threw it in the garbage. I venture to this area twice a year and gave them a chance. I would have fared better getting a gyro from the pizza restaurant close by. No ambiance and did not get what I wanted. My fault partly as I knew I was not getting what I ordered and didn't walk out. We ordered from The Shawarma Guys at the Manchester location on 2/23/2025 via Door Dash and received a 6pm pickup time. I arrived at 6:04pm, which is admittedly a tad late, but that usually isn't an issue. As I attempted to enter the establishment, I found the door locked with the deadbolt and the staff inside cleaning, so I figured they had closed just prior. I'd hoped that they'd be able to just hand my order to me through the door and I'd be able to head back home, but boy, was I wrong. Despite me holding my phone up to the door with the image of my order to pick up, the man in charge right behind the counter shooed me away with rude and dismissive hand gestures without even attempting to communicate otherwise. I understand they were closed, but there was absolutely zero reason to be so ill-mannered about it, especially when you are likely waiting for a paying customer to pick up the final order of the day. I usually will not patronize a business if the employees don't have the common courtsey to greet you. Amazing Lebanese food in the area! They have shawarma wraps, bowls and salads. Various appetizers and main dishes, good amount of sides options. It's a great take out,/on the go food. For the bowls you can choose your toppings, basically chipotle style. Their garlic sauce is delicious, best one I've had so far. The hot sauce they had was also very flavorful and not too spicy. This place is 1000x better than halal guys, I highly recommend checking out this new spot. Location is also very convenient. The owner is very kind. It is all passable in taste, but forgettable in quality. It literally seemed like street food in a brick and mortar establishment. If it was a cart or a food truck I would be more generous with the review, but not with a full sized restaurant. The layout is also extremely poor. No real menu in plain sight, and nothing is labeled. It is like they assume you know what the food is. While I do know something about Mediterranean cuisine, I am no expert. Labeling the sauces and fixings would have made it better and a faster order time. Basically it is good if you want something quick. It's a small spot and has a few seats inside and a TV which kept my son entertained. The guy serving us described it as just like Chipotle. You pick your protein, and style (sandwich, salad, over rice) and then it's unlimited toppings! Unfortunately, I was looking for fresh shawarma and I didn't get it. It tasted like the meat had been sliced a while ago and then left out to dry. I guess I could have asked them to cut some fresh from the spit, but I also didn't expect them to serve dried meat. My wife and I came here in search of a 5 star shawarma. We ended up visiting twice and getting shawarma, kibbeh, 2 types of baklava and a Lassi. We got to sample some falafel for free. The shawarma starts with a large piece of pita bread to which you add your choice of ingredients. The chioces were: hummus, garlic spread, chickpeas, feta cheese, pickles, pickled turnip, seasoned onions, cucumbers, pepperoncini, tomatoes, black olives, lettuce, tahini sauce, chipotle sauce and hot sauce. The meat is added, then the bread is rolled and the ends folded like a burrito. It is grilled on a panini press. We chose hummus, garlic spread, pickles, pickled turnip, onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, lettuce, tahini sauce and chipotle sauce. This combination worked incredibly well with the beef and lamb inside the pita wrap. The wrap was just the right thickness. Not too thin to fall apart and not too thick to detract from the flavor. We got shawarma on 2 different days. The first time, the meat was rather loose and a little mushy. Tasted very good. The second time, the meat still tasted very good, but the meat was firmer and in well defined strips. An excellent shawarma either way. The kibbeh is a dumpling consisting of a dough made with burghul (bulgur) and finely ground beef. The dough is stuffed with pine nuts, onions, ground beef and middle-eastern spices. It was served with a dip. Our kibbeh was very dark brown from deep frying. It was crunchy on the outside, but not burnt tasting. The stuffing tasted a bit like an italian meatball. The overall flavor was very good and interesting. The falafel had organic chickpeas, fava beans, vegetables and spices. It was deep fried. The exterior tasted like the exterior of the kibbeh. I am not a fan of ground beans; but this bean mixture had a decent flavor, especially with the crispy shell. We bought 2 containers of baklava. One container had only baklava with walnuts. The other container had 2 kinds of baklava and 3 other pastries. The baklava differed by the type of nuts. One had pistachios and one had walnuts. The other pastries were similar in flavor to the baklava except they were much more subtle. We enjoyed the baklava with walnuts in the first container the most. It had light flaky layers of filo dough which were rich in honey and walnut flavors. The mango lassi had mango, yogurt and sugar. It was like a milkshake. The perfect drink to cool down the chipotle sauce in our shawarma. The dining room was clean. The restaurant was small. There was only room for 5 tables. The restroom was out of order at the time. We plan to come back for the shawarma and to try some other dishes, like the tabbouleh salad. read more

I used to work close to this restaurant and went often I just moved back the area and was in the neighborhood so I popped in to check it out. I think this place is under new management as some things were different but it is still an awesome place to grab a bite. The Falafel is still nice and crunchy and there are still a ton of fresh and delicious toppings to add to your shawarma. They don't use fresh Pita bread anymore, instead opting for a pita wrap that's then cooked like a panini. I'm happy to say it's still amazing. You should definitely give this place a try. read more
