Lots of options but more American than Asian.

It's nice to have a buffet back in the area. The place is massive and they really pack folks in. They keep it clean and the service is friendly. The price for an adult is about $20 which is going to bring in people, especially large families. Children under 2 years old eat for free. Children were everywhere. This was a one and done spot for me. The food was fresh and constantly being replenished. It was more of an American food buffet than Asian. They do have a hibachi grill in the back that you can order from. They will do well for what they are and what the area had been missing.

I was excited to eat here. The place was not very clean. The bathrooms are disgusting. The food was not hot ! The soup specifically the clam chowder was gross. It didn't even taste as good as the clam chowder from a can. They call it steak, but I call it mystery meat. The only thing that I really enjoyed was the crab Rangoon. The carrot cake. The rest was horrible. Not making recheck half hour drive again. Waste of gas all the bubble teas tasted floral!

My Son wanted to celebrate his Birthday here. I saw this place on instagram and his friend told him about this place. They opened about 2 months ago. They have the usual Buffet fair and several different varieties of Shrimp, my Son loves Sushi so they have a Sushi Bar. You get your own drinks. The Staff was polite, but I think they can use more help in the Dining Room because our empty plates were pilling up and no one cleaned our table, so we sat them on an empty table to make room. A worker was in area but she just overlooked us. Other than that the experience was just ok.

We went here with friends who are frequent flyers and love this place. I can see why. The first thing they said to my friend was "welcome back". She was literally here yesterday with her kids:) Outside of the friendly greetings, this place is extremely clean with plenty of space for seating. The buffet is probably the largest one I have seen in the Baltimore area with lots of seafood offerings. I had to walk around the buffet before making a plate because there was so much to choose from. I started with the seafood boil which had shrimp, mussels, calamari, crawfish, corn and potatoes in it. It was pretty tasty. The string beans were seasoned with garlic and just the right amount crisp. I liked the bok choy, lightly seasoned but still flavorful. The octopus salad is an acquired taste but not bad if you're into this. The various shrimp offerings are delicious. This place is the Forrest Gump of shrimp. Get it streamed, salt & pepper, fried, garlic and many more. The salmon was good and moist. There's nothing worse than dry salmon. The fried chicken was nicely fried, but absolutely no taste and will need hot sauce for some zing. I also got something from the grill. Select your protein and veggies and they will hibachi them up for you. I chose shrimp and steak with mushrooms, broccoli, peppers, and onions. The only problem I had with this was the shrimp was over cooked and rubbery. The shrimp should be cooked last instead of with the steak which takes longer to cook. Next time I'm going to give him the shrimp separately to cook and see if that makes a difference. As far as drinks you have the option of getting your typical drinks from the soda fountain or the refrigerator. The refrigerated drinks include can sodas and boba teas. Can you believe it, boba! I fell in love with the strawberry tea boba. I may try the passion fruit or boba milk tea next time. I have never been to a buffet that has boba. Pretty impressive;) This is a great place to take your family. It's about $20/person and that's pretty reasonable considering how expensive food is nowadays. You also get 10% off of your order first check in. Love it!! As The Terminator would say, "I'll be back!". SN: The bathroom was large and clean:)

A local Chinese buffet is OVERDUE! My goodness, what a welcomed restaurant. Royal Buffet has filled the long-vacant building where Bill Bateman's once occupied. They appear to have repurposed the booth seating so that plus the exposed brick felt nostalgic of my Bateman's Friday happy hour days. This is your standard Chinese buffet. There are rows of options, nothing you haven't seen before, plus the desserts, sushi and hibachi. The truth is - Chinese buffets don't have to be special. You get exactly what you pay for. A full belly for a decent price. We snuck over for lunch but will return with the kids in a couple months once the hype dies down a bit. Welcome to town, Royal Buffet!

This restaurant is pretty large - there are several dining rooms and spaces available. They sat us pretty fast considering we had a reasonably sized party. You could definitely bring a party here - they have many rooms available. Next, service was quick and prompt. You have to order steak and ramen through your server. I recommend both! Both were of good quality and my aunts in particular loved the seafood ramen. Of course, the main draw of a buffet is the food! The food here is pretty good! They have a good amount of variety and keep the quality good as well. They offer a lot of sushi options, and some hot food options as well. Their crab was excellent too - I haven't seen any good buffets recently with crab offerings. They also offer milk tea in the fridge and ice cream for desserts. The milk tea is pretty good - the thai tea was my personal favorite. Overall, a nice place to grab some sushi at an affordable price.

I was a big fan of the sushi and my friends thought the mac n cheese and ramen were surprisingly good. The décor and ambience of this restaurant is so serene and welcoming. As always, they start you off with a basket of Papadum (light crispy Indian wafers) and two dipping sauces. These are really delicious and a wonderful introduction to Indian food. Our foods started with an order of split Vegetable and Chicken Momo dumplings that were marinated in Nepali spices stuffed in flour wrapped and steamed and served with a special chutney. For our friends' main course, they split a Chicken Tikka Masala, which was boneless white meat chicken cooked with onions, tomatoes, and bell peppers. They also ordered Naan - the traditional unleavened white bread. My husband had his favorite, the Tandoori Shrimp. It was a very generous portion of jumbo shrimp marinated in an herb mixture and delicately broiled in our tandoori clay oven served with mixed vegetables. This came out sizzling. This came with a side of spinach that was more like a creamed spinach. It was the best we have ever tasted! It was creamy with the best seasoning. I decided to try something new and ordered the Chicken Pista Korma which was White meat chicken simmered in a mild pistachio sauce. I would have like smaller pieces of chicken, but the sauce was delicate and delicious. All of our entrees came with basmati rice. The portions are so generous we all had something to take home for another meal. Our servers were very attentive and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed another great meal at Indian Ocean.

The service was quite good for a buffet - staff were pleasant and worked hard. The hot and sour soup was good. Tried the chicken and broccoli - the chicken was decent and the broccoli wasn't overcooked/mushy at all. The sushi selection is not extensive, but it looked fresh and there was salmon sashimi also available. The sashimi were small cube pieces that were good. Only negative was the steak. There was a side of beef where you could cut off pieces. We each took a small piece. Both of them were very, very tough and chewy. We couldn't eat them. Too bad, because the rest of the food was good. Although the steak was inedible, the ribs were quite good. My partner said the crab was quite good - not large, but well prepared and tasty. There was a warning sign by the oysters about worms being natural to oysters and might be present in the oyster. I didn't see any, but I ate two and then later saw the sign and didn't have any more. Price point is very reasonable for the variety and quality of the food. And there's also a senior discount.

For nearly 11 years we've resided in delightful Gettysburg and have been enjoying Li's for most of that time ever since it was converted from a karate studio to a Chinese restaurant, although the majority has been take out over the last 6-7 years. Tonight i was hungry after a 4 hour drive home and decided upon this reliable dining establishment. I was immediately greeted and seated by a young and affable woman named "Abby" who spoke little English (and I speak zero mandarin!) I arrived at 4pm on a Monday which was the dinner buffet (see photo). There was only one other couple when I was immediately seated, however within 15 minutes there were about a dozen people and a seemingly consistent take-out business. I filled my plate and after enjoying that chose about 8 assorted sushi bites. My beverage was hot tea which was brought to my table within a minute of my arrival. Everything was fresh and tasty. My appetite mostly assuaged, I went back up for some dessert pickings (see photo) I also enjoyed a cup of wonton soup, freshly prepared. (pic attached). The bill for me came to $20.09 plus a tip which I happily included because my pleasant server was so accommodating, smiled a lot, hustled, and evidently tried her best. I brought my own hand sanitizer and really think that they should be available since people touch all sort of nasty things and then touch the utensils at the buffet bar. If a tourist to our historic and charming town, check it out rather than visiting a national burger franchise. If a local as am I, order from here and support a local business, whether dining in or take out you walnt be disappointed. Oh, as if 4:30 pm as I'm wrapping up my review, there are about 18-20 people here, still with loads of seating available!
