We visited earlier today and it was really pleasant. Only three active tables, great service, and awesome food. I haven't been here in many years, and it feels like the crab cakes are smaller, with lower-end crab. That said, the crab cakes were great, loved the fries, and enjoyed the fried oysters. Plus it was nice sitting by the windows and watching the world go by. And the atmosphere was down to earth, which we liked. One thing of note: the restaurant is not handicapped accessible. My spouse is a double transplant patient and the steps were a challenge--as two-story staircases go, this one is a doozy. But totally worth it.

I got the rib& crabcake combo, and my cousin got the crabcake entree. The food was delicious!!! Crabcakes were flavorful and meaty-9/10. And the ribs were plentiful. It was supposed to come with a half rack, but I swear it was a full rack-8.5/10. The sides were also delicious! I opted for hushpuppies and coleslaw. Usually I avoid coleslaw at most places, but this one was actually good! More mayo-based, than vinegar. If it was a bit colder, I would've enjoyed it more, but I'd get it again. We also tried the oysters. Half dozen raw oysters for my cousin and i tried a Chesapeake (8.5/10) and a Rockefeller (7.8/10). Overall our first-time experience was great. There was only 1 server for all the tables, so I'm not sure if they were just under staffed and having a hard time, but you only get one chance at a first impression and this was not a good one. I actually had no complaints about our server either, she was doing better than most people would in her situation, and the customers were pretty patient.

This is an incredible buffet. OK so not gourmet food, but very good. Very wide variety of foods both hot and cold even desserts. Prices very reasonable $8-12 for weekday lunch, plenty of parking due to it's location and plenty of room inside. read more

This place is the bomb! It's pretty much a hibachi with an assembly line where you can build your own bowl have it cooked to order and eat all you want. The wait wasn't long on my visit but even if it was I still would've waited because it was worth the wait. Once you're seated you get a tablet with placed on your table where you get to select your appetizers, which are included in your all you can eat option. The waiter only comes for initial drink orders and drink refills everything else you want you order on the tablet and you go to the line to build your bowl. The assembly line has everything you can imagine from and you select everything you want to go into your bowl even down to the seasoning and sauces. Once you build your bowl you give it to the chef's and then you return to your table. Your food will be delivered to your table once it's cooked. The waiter will explain that you will be charged for wasted food which is understandable. That doesn't mean you have to eat every single noodle or piece of rice however you shouldn't make bowls and just discard them for another one, so be sure that you want to eat the bowl you have created. In my second bowl the cook did burn my food which was a blower, but my first bowl was the bomb! Also, someone in my party's bowl got mixed up with someone at another table's bowl, but it was fixed by the waitress who understood since the other party with the mixup stated they had the wrong bowl as well. The bathroom needs some work, in my opinion it's really tight and the stalls sort of force you to turn sideways to exit. The decor is nice and there's plenty of parking, I plan on returning very soon.

This was my first visit today, with a group on retired women friends at lunch time. It was not…read morebusy when we arrived (early, at 11:30). They have some very reasonable lunch specials. I had a Kung Pao Chicken lunch combo; it was a lot of food for $11.00--chicken and corn soup, the Kung Pao, veggie fried rice, and a spring roll. The amount of spiciness was just right. The server was very pleasant.
