After visiting here, I'm angry. Angry for the fact that my fiancé held out on this place almost a year since I moved to Atlanta. This little gem is located in a shopping plaza on Memorial Drive however be aware, there's a dude trying to sell perfume/cologne in the parking lot. I suggest going before dark or just bring someone with you if you're startled easily. My fiancé and I had beef patties with coco bread, I had a pineapple ginger tropical rhythm drink and he had their Irish moss. I tried the Irish moss and it was delicious! The last time I had such a tasty patty was when I visited Jamaica and when I lived in FL and visited Ft.Lauderdale! The patty was so crispy and hot and juicy in the middle...I died a little on the inside when I finished it. I will definitely be returning to buy a dozen or more (An Asian male next to us in line ordered a case of 200 for $80 or so)...I might just do that on one of my pay days lol. Apparently this place has been around for a long time. If they keep up the quality, I will continue to support them despite being 10 exits away from me. Hopefully they open one up in my area...wishful thinking lol. The drive is truly worth it if you appreciate damn good Jamaican beef/callaloo/chicken patties. I can't really comment on their cooked food but I don't see myself buying hearty Jamaican meals from a Jamaican bakery. It really doesn't work like that in JA or anywhere else for that matter....you can't expect good pastries from a restaurant just as you can't expect good food from a BAKERY...just saying. read more

Dang, that plantain patty was deeeelicious. It didn't really taste plantainish though, more guava-y. Either way perfect. Jerk chicken patty, while not very spicy, was warm and self contained. Perfect for lunching while driving. read more

I would only ever go to this place for beef patties...and that would be before dark. It's on sketchy memorial drive where you have to go through someone trying to sell you socks or ask for something. They have a pretty large number of different patties my favorite is the chicken, jerk chicken, spinach, and beef. Make sure you get coco bread. I got their food for the first time jerk chicken and curry with rice and peas it was not good. I wasn't surprised because for as long as my family and friends have gone here we only get patties and go up the street for Jamaican food. Ok place. read more

food is amazing. This place is a small Caribbean restaurant that offers baked goods, entrees, limited grocery selection and every Caribbean soda you could think of! Great place to pick up prepackaged Jamaican food and goods. I don't think they freshly bake their own patties like waves bakery in snellville but they do reheat some mean patties and they have a nice selection. Not sure how authentic this place is tho. read more

Absolutely the best in Jamaican foods. I've visited this business many times over the years and I'm always satisfied. First of all, they are a full time bakery. Making things like the best Patties (beef, spinach, curry chicken, etc.) Specialty items like spiced bun, hard dough, gizzada, rum cake, plus many more items. They also serve hot food like jersey chicken, curry goat, red pea soup, and other reasonably priced menu items. Mr. Chin and his family always give excellent customer service. I've been coming here for YEARS only for patty, hard dough bread, coco bread, bun and meatloaf. I don't really like their food but they have the best closest to authentic Jamaican patties and bread around.. it's usually very crowded but they move pretty fast to get you in an out. read more

Can't believe I have not reviewed this place before since I've been coming here for 10 years. They have excellent baked goods -- patties, hardo bread and bun -- the closest you can get to the ones you'll find in Jamaica. They bake them right there on the premises, so you can leave with a nice warm loaf of bread. Their red peas soup is pretty good too. Service is very quick. Decor leaves much to be desired. They should upgrade the chairs and tables in the eating area. There's a chair with the vinyl ripped open and the stuffing showing that's been there for ages but hardly anyone eats in so I guess they don't see it as a priority. It's a real family business and it's been cool seeing the kids grow up over the years. They also sell Jamaican products like tinned ackee and Grace juices and even Jamaican newspapers. So it's like a little piece of "home" in the middle of Atlanta. read more

Customers please be made aware: if they mess up your order, you will be blamed. So repeat your order multiple times and repeat it again after they repeat it back to you. Then check your bag before you leave. My order is never complicated so I didn't do this and I now wish I had. I was given 2 chicken patties when I asked for beef. I got all the way home before I realized the order was wrong so I called. The young man (I believe he is the son of the owners) said I could come back to change them. So I did and upon my return I was berated by his mother (owner) who said "three people heard you order chicken patties you must have been distracted." Uh, no I never order chicken patties. The young lady who rang me up looks at me and says "you ordered chicken patties I even repeated it back to you." I told her I never order chicken patties because I don't like them. I come here at least 2x a month and order the same EXACT thing! The boy (not the son) who made my order then also said "no you ordered chicken patties." Mind you this is in front of about 10 people who were either in line or waiting on food watching me being accused of lying. Like I would drive all the way back up here for this?! At this point the mom/owner snatched the bag from my hand and literally slammed it in the trash. The boy who made my order looked in the case that they hold the patties in and told me it would be a few minutes. The mom/owner looked at him and said no she wants beef patties and pointed to them. So after all that, he clearly didn't even know which patties were beef and which were chicken. You think at this point they would apologize for how I was rudely treated, but no. I am not one of those people who always believes the customer is right, however I do feel there is certain way you should treat regular, paying customers and that is with decency and respect. I won't be back after being treated this way. My husband states I will be fine as there are much better places in the area. Hopefully I can find a location with nicer staff that carry the same BEEF patties. read more

BEST BEEF PATTIES IN GEORIGA!! This is a hidden gem in Atlanta. The owners are some of the kindest people I know. The patties are flaky and warm with a smell so heavenly everyone will ask for one. These flaky clouds are filled with wondrous filling. My favorite is the spicy beef. It packs a tiny kick which adds to the overall taste.
