There are not many Indian dinner buffet restaurants on this side of the Surrey/Langley area so we decided to give this restaurant a visit. Restaurant was not that busy when we stopped by shortly after the dinner service started. Price was reasonable at $24 a person. Food selection was decent. However, the food temperature was not hot enough for my liking and was only slightly warm for many of the items. Also, we had to ask for roti as it was not automatically offered. The roti arrived pipping hot. My favourite items were the gulab jamun and kheer as both were served in the appropriate temperatures. The gulab jamun was served warm and the kheer served chilled. I did enjoy trying a number of different types of curries and the flavours were quite delicious. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Service was efficient. Our server stopped by regularly to clear dirty plates and refill water. I would consider coming back to try their lunch buffet to see if it was just a one off day. I do think this restaurant is a great option in the area if they can work out the small details. Overall, it was a 3.5 star experience. So happy i finally made my way out to try this modern Indian restaurant that's been on my list. Definitely worth the commute. Their buffet prices are well worth every penny. Good variety and the quality is impressive. I have not checked out the lunch buffet but these pictures i am sharing was part of the dinner buffet. Forgive me for not knowing what majority of these dishes were even called. I assure you it's vegan friendly but if you're a protein lower there's just as much meat choices too! But yes my fave dishes that i was able to make room for me in my belly was the goat curry/ butter chicken/ chili fish/ chickpea curry ... mango flavoured icecream / naan bread. I also snacked on a lot of these colourful looking chips? Haha they reminded me of the asian prawn chips that come on the side of peking duck! If you check this place out please try! I even dipped it in icecream and ooo it was yummy! The service was quite pleasant too. They did an excellent job at replenishing food and checking in with customers to see if we needed more water / naan / napkins etc! Loveeeeeed this! Family friendly place/ ambiance was relaxing for a meal date or even if you wanted to watch sports. They've got massive tvs so if you want to grab drinks it's a perfect place too. Tried the buffet here while it was still new and was for $14 per person. Which is a good deal. They open at 11.30am and do not take reservations. There's a seating time limit of 2 hours. We got in 12pm and there wasn't any wait and moderate # of people. The item selection was limited but the food was good. Liked that the non vegetarian section (2 appys and 4 curries) was kept separate. For dessert the custard was really good, gulab jamun was too sweet, pastry was good. 2.5/5 We came on an impromptu weekend because we were in the plaza and didn't have anywhere in mind for lunch. We noticed there was an Indian restaurant located at the corner of the plaza that had a lot of customers walking in and a huge sign outside promoting a $14.95 AYCE lunch (I believe it used to be around $10). We arrived and were promptly seated. The buffet was a L shaped section with maybe around 20 types of food. There was a salad bar, two rice and a noodle option, a few types of vegetarian options, and non-vegetarian masala and curries. Service was surprisingly good despite this being buffet style. Water was topped off and our server came by to check on us a few times. To be honest, the food was average. We surprisingly liked the fries which were crispy and well-seasoned. The vegetable in the vegetable korma were frozen diced vegetables which didn't make the dish very appealing. The chicken tandoori was dry and overcooked. The chicken curry and butter chicken were quite watery and lacked spices. We appreciated that our server dropped off naan, which came out warm but they were doughier than preferred. My favourite dish of the day (aside from the fries - I know I'm a rookie for eating fries at a buffet!) was the spicy fish. It had a nice kick of spice and heat, and I loved the strong cilantro flavour in the dish. This paired perfectly with rice which helped tone down the spiciness. All in all, it was a decent experience, and we were happy to try a variety of dishes in one day. Be mindful that it is a buffet so there will be folks who scoop out all the meats in the curries. While the $15 price tag seems like a deal, be careful that you will get filled up quite fast considering that many of the hot dishes need to be eaten with rice/naan. read more

Highly recommend Royal Chaska ! We had them cater our Boxing Day party and were so impressed with the level of service and the quality of the food. Karlos is amazing to communicate with, he replied to all of my questions promptly and was able to provide options to meet all of the dietary restrictions for our group, including dairy-free and gluten free. Karlos also personally delivered our food and was able to stagger delivery times for appetizers and dinner separately so that we could eat the food hot and didn't have to reheat anything. All of the food was delicious and spiced appropriately according to our needs. Great quality Indian food with a variety of options at good value. read more
