I escalated the issue to Procter & Gamble corporate and even sent a final follow‑up to their executive consumer relations team. I still received no reply from anyone. I'm now filing a BBB complaint due to the lack of communication and the cost of replacing and repairing the damaged items. Very disappointed in the service and the complete lack of response from both Tide Cleaners and P&G.

I'm posting this so that if anyone else is going to get their jeans hemmed, just know you need to request the hem to be preserved, they will not ask you about it and their default is not to do it. If they had asked me about my preference I would have absolutely said to preserve the cuff and would have paid more for that. I suggested they ask customers about their preference when it comes to hemming jeans and they really didn't seem to care.
