Josewas the only one who actually got in there and figured out was wrong, which why I hired him. At first he was very polite and seemed knowledgable though I suspected he didn't have a license( he says he does but no). Jose didn't show for 4 days using same excuse I saw on a different review. He finally showed and while in the tank found another issue( which there was). I told him I needed more time to think as it was a huge repair and very costly. He didn't want to refund any of the money I had already paid him up front .Jose was very pushy thought I asked him twice for time to think( Red flag). Stupidly I hired him as I was in a pinch. As a home owner I asked Jose specific question regarding timeline and procedure. He started to become agitated and raised his voice. I was shocked. I had already given him thousands of dollars and there was no going back. The day he finished the Job(which he didn't) He began to push me for immediate payment and become upset when I told him I needed to see the work. My renter then called and said that the floor (which Jose was supposed to put back after jackhammering and relaying concrete) was all messed and damaged. After calmly bringing this to Jose's attention he began to yell and curse and stated, " If I don't get my money, there's going to be a problem". Upon returning to the house Jose began to yell at my renter for calmly pointing out that the floor was not fixable. I asked him to go outside. I then looked and in my septic, Jose left all the old pipe laying at the bottom. He then told me, " what you going to bitch about that too". I informed them that I could not pay him full price as I had to repair my renters floor. Jose then balled up his fist and came toward me as if to fight me. I told him to back up or I would defend myself. This whole time Jose's helper is trying to calm him down as he is out of control. I gave him 3200 of 4000 because Of the floor damage and to diffuse the situation, he deserve much less. The septics still were not cleaned properly and the work was half ass. The whole duration Of the job I was on edge due to his conduct. Jose uses his size and appearance to try to intimidate but he's actually dishonest coward. This is my story and it's true. I'm learning from my mistakes. This proves my point. Jose was pushing me for payment while I was at work and began acting weird and upset when I wanted to see the work first. How unprofessional can you be Jose. I spent 10,000 dollars in total minus two septic pumps and I'm not allowed to Veiw the work on my own house . This guys story is all BS. Lifeproof flooring supposed to last 15 -25 years you liar. If you take off the baseboard first it's easier to take care of it. But it's not your flooring, you're just in a hurry to finish and get paid since you always show up late and cut corners. he Sent me a picture that makes the floor seems fine because it doesn't show the rest of it. This was our 4th time calling Al - he also helped in Jan 2023 but I was out of town and I didn't do…read morean update review. We had ficus tree roots growing in one of toilets pipes in 2022/23 and Al helped us realize the plumber needed to do deep work to get roots out ( Jan 2023) Dec 2023/Jan 2024 Al & his crew are just amazing. It was time for our yearly maintenance - and they do such a great job while showing you what needs to be done. Owning a home with a septic system is so different from a home connected to sewer lines. We still have one CHRONIC plumbing issue that Al helped identify - and his expertise is priceless when preventing much bigger problems. Grateful. Because of his help- we can plan when to fix a connection issue and we have time to do so- while avoiding a larger emergency. Because he has been here 4x it's apparent that this issue has been chronic with this home and we are finally realizing what the problem is and how to fix it. ( we have only owned this home since Winter 2019 - it will be 5 years in Feb 2024 and we now have an idea of what the issue is because of how repetitive it's been ) We think it's a connection issue from previous plumbers who really FD up the plumbing by not securing connections.
