When I was sure that we had to first replace the whole septic system, I got quotes from many companies and building 5 offered the most competitive price. I was told by some company that cheap means less quality. Okay, please use your own judgement. I can only say they are not greedy company, or maybe they use fewer workers with less time but very efficient work. Maybe no long warranty is also a factor. So it depends on what you want. And during the work, they were very transparent with each process and helped me take pictures of every step they did. Josh and Alan were very patient in answering all my questions. They even change the main sewer line connected to the tank which is not in the scope of work. And the toilet already started to flow. Josh is super honest with the price, he took down the part that they didn't do at the end. They not only saved our pocket but also the time. They did a wonderful job within a day with cheapest price which some company has to finish in a week but charge triple. They truly care not just for the money. Thank you for everything. A lot of blessings for your business.

We had ficus tree roots growing in one of toilets pipes in 2022/23 and Al helped us realize the plumber needed to do deep work to get roots out ( Jan 2023) Dec 2023/Jan 2024 Al & his crew are just amazing. It was time for our yearly maintenance - and they do such a great job while showing you what needs to be done. Owning a home with a septic system is so different from a home connected to sewer lines. We still have one CHRONIC plumbing issue that Al helped identify - and his expertise is priceless when preventing much bigger problems. Grateful. Because of his help- we can plan when to fix a connection issue and we have time to do so- while avoiding a larger emergency. Because he has been here 4x it's apparent that this issue has been chronic with this home and we are finally realizing what the problem is and how to fix it. ( we have only owned this home since Winter 2019 - it will be 5 years in Feb 2024 and we now have an idea of what the issue is because of how repetitive it's been ) We think it's a connection issue from previous plumbers who really FD up the plumbing by not securing connections. We already fixed one mess by same plumbers. No I don't know who they are but I would love to know.

I hired this company for what was originally a laundry room plumbing alteration. The contractor I…read moredealt with throughout was Jose Romero. The job then escalated into a slab leak repair and a whole-house repipe, and despite paying $6,950, the work was never completed. Fair warning about how this operation works: Jose comes across as a genuinely friendly, likable guy. That is exactly what makes this situation so dangerous for homeowners. The friendliness is how the requests keep coming, a couple more days, a little more money for "parts," framing the work like he's doing you a personal favor, while the total climbs and nothing gets finished or documented. The pattern throughout the job: * The timeline kept extending. I was repeatedly told they needed "a couple more days," then more money, then permits, which were never actually pulled. No permits exist for the repipe work done at my home. * The majority of the hands-on work was not even performed by Jose himself. It was done by his daughter's 22-year-old boyfriend, who Jose said he was "training," while Jose sat in his truck and only came in when he "needed" to be there. So the work I paid nearly $7,000 for was largely performed by an unlicensed trainee with minimal supervision. * I asked multiple times for an invoice, receipt, or any documentation of parts and materials purchased. Every time, I was told "I'll get it to you." To this day, I have received nothing, not one receipt, for nearly $7,000 in payments. * Communication was deliberately steered toward phone calls. Requests to handle things in writing were avoided, which I now understand kept there from being a paper trail. * Payments for "parts" were requested along the way, always framed as though the work was being done as a personal favor to me, while the costs kept climbing. The licensing issue: Before the last payment, I asked Jose Romero directly, in person, whether he was licensed. He told me yes. Only after the work stalled did the real story come out: he does not personally hold a contractor's license. He operates under a friend's license through what he calls a "sister company," and says he's still in school to get his own license. In California, a contractor's license cannot be borrowed, shared, or used by an unlicensed person regardless of any business partnership. I confirmed with the CSLB that no valid license covers the person who actually performed and collected payment for this work. The money: After the job stalled, I had multiple licensed plumbers independently inspect the work. Every one of them estimated the actual value of the labor and materials at $500-$750 total. I paid $6,950. When I asked for an accounting of where the money went, none was ever provided, because no invoices or receipts exist. I've had to borrow money from family to hire a licensed, permitted plumber to redo the work correctly. Where things stand: I have filed/am filing a formal complaint with the California Contractors State License Board and am pursuing recovery of the funds, including through small claims court if necessary. Everything stated here is documented in text messages, Zelle payment records, and written assessments from licensed plumbers. My advice to anyone considering this "company": 1. Verify the license yourself at cslb.ca.gov, don't take anyone's word for it. Check that the license belongs to the actual person doing the work. 2. Get every quote, change, and payment in writing. Refuse to do business by phone call only. 3. Never pay more than California's legal down payment limit (10% or $1,000, whichever is less) before work

The Water Heater Company did an excellent job replacing our 20-year-old water heater. One thing I…read morereally appreciate about this company is that they take the time to thoroughly inspect the issue, clearly explain what's going on, and provide multiple options without any pressure. Our technician, Erik Z., was punctual, professional, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable. After completing his initial inspection, he called me to explain the situation in detail, walked me through my options, and let me choose the solution that best fit my needs and budget. I never felt pressured to purchase additional services, and he was honest and informative throughout the entire process. Once the installation was complete, Erik followed up with me and provided a comprehensive home analysis report, diagnosis report, after-installation photos, and the invoice. The entire experience was smooth, organized, and efficient from start to finish. This is the second property where I've used The Water Heater Company, and both experiences have been outstanding. Scheduling an appointment is always quick and easy, and every technician I've worked with has been friendly, courteous, and professional. I highly recommend The Water Heater Company to anyone looking for honest, reliable, and high-quality service.

He kept the work area clean and showed great attention to detail throughout the installation. Overall, I am very satisfied with the work Daniel and Zach provided. Their professionalism, honesty, and quality workmanship made this a great experience. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a water heater installation.
