Service was phenomenal, food matched the service! Portions were huge and the restaurant itself was very well managed and clean. Definitely will be back. We had the chicken lo mein, house fried rice, orange chicken, and beef and broccoli. Eggrolls were delicious too!

We had a craving today and went on an adventure to find something new. Chinese food is so hit or miss in the areas nearby. When we walked in to Tasty Asian Kitchen it was pretty empty, but slowly filled with families and quite a few to go orders. Our server was wonderful and greeted us right away. So people complained of service here in other reviews, but we had no problem our entire time here. The menu has so many great options and it was hard to choose. We settled on a pu pu platter and the happy family which we would share. The only thing I didn't care for was the fried wonton out of the pu pu platter. The happy family portion was huge and more than enough for two. Rice portion was a bit small but we made it work. They only offer bottled soda here, some alcohol options as well as so teas. Prices were fair for size. Parking was a breeze. With easy ins and pits to the street and parking plenty of parking nearby.

You know, I was pleasantly surprised. The place doesn't look like much on the outside. Just a bunch of faded posters in the windows. The storefront doesn't do them justice. There is so much more to the place than what meets the eye. Hidden inside is a spacious, clean and simply elegant dining room. It is obvious that they are a small mom & pop, which I really love to give a go. On this day, my wife was out of town, so I thought I would stock up on some really good leftovers. Their menu is complete with all of my Chinese favorites. Because I had never been to this restaurant, I wanted to gauge it by trying a little bit of everything! And I did! The really nice lady at the front thought I was crazy! So, lets see, let's start with the pot stickers, go with some sweet and sour pork, honey walnut prawns, Mongolian Beef, Egg Foo Young and throw in some house noodles. There, that should do it. Well, the lady brought out a big box of food. It was obvious that these were no small servings! Yikes, what did I do? I moved from a city on the west coast with really good Asian. An honestly, for the most part, many phoenix Asian restaurants just don't compare. The nice lady at the front told me that their food was really good, so I'm ready to eat! And I have a lot to eat! There is a Chinese restaurant near me at Dysart and Indian school that I really don't care too much for, so I know I will be comparing this food to that. So, on to the food. To me it was a solid 4 out of 5 which is really good for this area. The pot stickers were pretty good, better than I had previously had. The honey walnut prawns were my favorite and as good as any I had, a real must try. Let's see, the Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork really measured up and the house Lo Mein noodles with beef, shrimp & chicken rounded it all out. It all was very good. Tasty Asian is a nice little gem, that is really kind of hidden from public view. While there I noticed a few people pop in and out to pick up their to-go orders. Yep, this is the perfect place for that! A nice easy meal, that is something different, with leftovers galore. Yes, I have found my new, Tasty Asian restaurant!

We started with fresh rolls + fried spring rolls, which honestly made the perfect combo. The fresh rolls were crisp, veggie-packed, and refreshing with a rich peanut sauce, while the fried ones brought that crunchy, classic comfort factor. But the real moment? That flaming soup situation Total presentation drama (in the best way). Super aromatic, flavorful broth, fresh herbs, mushrooms, and just enough spice to keep things interesting without overpowering. Overall: flavorful food, solid portions, friendly atmosphere, and definitely a spot I'd come back to when I'm craving Thai without needing a whole production.

The server did everything from cashiering, to to go orders, filling waters, and she was so friendly and on top of things, high props to her for handling everything on a busy weekend night. As for the food, the portions are generous though they are a little on the pricier side. Pad Thai was great and you can customize the spice. I'm someone who can't handle Hot Cheetos but I didn't really taste the spice on the level 1, so I'd recommend a level 2 if you want to taste a little bit/mild. They do give you a spice rack of chili oil, fish oil etc that you can add for some added punch. Level 4 had my husband crying haha, the spice builds. Wonton soup was also super cozy, tasted nice and healthy with vegetables and not just wontons. A well-rounded meal. The Thai iced tea was super strong and sweet, just the way I love it! I'd recommend this nice restaurant to anyone in the area. The food doesn't make you feel gross afterwards, it actually tastes quite healthy and wholesome, not oily. We came starving but left with lots of leftovers to enjoy at home.

Wonton soup was not wonton soup, but masses of vegetables in a liquid! 2. The fresh shrimp rolls, was again just full of chopped vegetables and one shrimp per roll! 3. The chicken satay, was so skinny, literally no meat! 4. The Pad Thai, was disgusting, again full of vegetables and just a ball of noodles thrown in. There was no proper Thai cuisine preperation here! 5. The Pa-Nang curry, again had its fair share of vegetables. and the skinniest pieces of chicken I have ever seen. To top it off we paid $92.58 for what should have been a delightful meal, the bulk of which ended up in the trash can, disgusting! I am sure that there are far better Thai restaurants in the west valley. This one you need to avoid at all costs, PS. I have lived in Thailand and this cuisine wasn't even close. Respectfully. G

With the southern portion of the 202, new places are springing up left and right. Thai Chili 2go is one of the many offsprings off Baseline and the 202. I had a hankering for some Thai food for lunch and did not have the time to go to my spot in central Phoenix. Looking on my Yelp APP for Thai selections in my area, I found TC2GO. I am glad my time restrains caused me to find a new place! For my first time I went with a safe option. I ordered veggie fried rice with fried tofu. It was AMAZING! Driving back to my desk was a test of my willpower of not pulling off the side of 202 and devouring this fried rice that had such an enticing aroma. Do not worry, I made it back to my desk. I walked past my office without any chit-chat as if I was a zombie and plopped down to eat this rice, OMG! I will make this a regular rotation for lunch when I'm in office. The beauty of TC2GO is that it is as its namesake, a to-go place. They have a small dining area and a small patio as well. If you're ordering in person, they have two kiosks to order from or you can do it online or via their APP. I gotta be honest, I was very perplexed by this method of ordering Thai food. Not in a sense of the technology, but rather not having a server sizing you up and you trying to justify the heat level you selected for your plate! :-) I smashed my fried rice before any thought of taking pics came to mind. I will post some food pics on my next visit.
