For some reason they put feta cheese instead of Parmigiano even though I didn't make any changes to the cheese. The croutons were small and stale. The bowl was so stuffed with lettuce I couldn't mix it and so much fell out trying to (this was not a problem before). Really disappointed. There are few places in Hollywood where you can park easily and get a nice lunch or snack for a reasonable price. When you don't have a lot of time, try Alfalfa -- in and out quickly, with a range of offerings. Our server, Mallory, was very friendly and processed our order (coffees and wraps) with lightning speed. The entire space was bright and clean, lots of spotless window letting the sun shine in and making a cheerful environment. Had we had more time, we would have enjoyed eating at one of the street-side tables to people watch. This is a spectacular salad spot. You can't go wrong. The spicy Cesar wrap is banging, and they have plenty of vegan options. It's a little pricey, but let's face it, if I bought all of those ingredients at home, I'd end up wasting half of them, so I think it evens out. The staff is fantastic. Have you met Mallory? A cutesy pink healthy food cafe in Hollywood! I got a diy salad and a gluten free fairy bread donut. The salad was good and decently filling for $17 (standard price for any salad in LA these days). This new location opened a couple blocks away from my work and have been wanting to give it a try. I went today to grab a wrap for lunch. First off, there was street parking so that is a plus. The place is super cute and it wasn't too busy. They had a lot of to-go orders and there wasn't a line. (I did go before 12 so might be different during lunch hours.) I ordered the OG Cargini wrap with extra homemade croutons with the dressing mixed in and extra on the side. The wrap was good the first bite but definitely better with the extra dressing. The croutons were great. It added the extra crunch which I love in a good wrap. The veggies were fresh and definitely felt healthy. I am so glad I finally got to try Alfalfa! If you're looking for a healthy, stress free (there's a parking lot!), pretty in pink, zen-like breakfast, lunch, or dinner - Alfalfa is it. They also have a location in Santa Monica if you're in that part of town. For my bevvy I tried the Vanilla Oat Milk Latte which was wonderful. I also got the Buffalo Goddess Wrap with medium dressing. The only thing I wish I did was add avocado which I was planning on doing but slipped my mind when ordering. This wrap was SO fresh and light but also had lots of flavor. I really enjoyed it. Lastly, I had to get a donut. Got the maple walnut - this was the only thing that tasted a liiiitle off. Maybe because it was gluten free? But when you have it with the coffee it makes it better. Prices are pretty normal for LA. The staff was absolutely lovely. I was recently diagnosed with celiac disease, and it's been overwhelming trying to find safe, delicious food that doesn't make me feel like I'm missing out. After a lot of research, I found Alfalfa and decided to order a gluten-free Caesar wrap. Not only was it absolutely delicious (and I ate it with zero fear of cross-contamination), but the team also included a thoughtful note in my package along with some gluten-free desserts. So obsessed with Alfalfa and this location! Alfalfa began their journey at a local farmer's market in Hoboken NJ, and they now have stores in Santa Monica and Larchmont. A great place to get a healthy lunch and/or snack - tons of salad options, burritos with lots of veggies, GF donuts and quality coffee and tea. Their Peruvian Chicken salad is bomb! Generous amount of protein, good seasoning, and fresh salad ingredients. Similar to Sweetgreen, but I find Alfalfa's salad a bit more creative and complex in a good way! A big plus that you can create a burrito from their salad menu too (hopefully they will have GF burrito in the future). Donuts are all gluten free and their lavender ones are so yummy! I had cold brew without much expectation with donuts, but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality. They use Intelligentsia Black Cat brew, and I forgot how these were good as I haven't had them since the beginning of third wave coffee movements. Plenty of parking available in the neighborhood. Street sweeping on Monday 9-11am facing south of Beachwood and Tuesday 9-11am facing north. They have a garage parking available too. The best part of Alfalfa Larchmont is their staff! The food here is AMAZING! I always order the create your own salad, and the ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the dressing is perfectly tossed. They also have options for how much dressing to toss in, which is a unique and brilliant choice! Their dressings are all delicious, but their vegan-friendly Caesar dressing is the best Caesar dressing (vegan or otherwise) that I have ever tasted! I've actually never been to the location, just ordered off delivery apps, so I can't speak to ambiance, but the food is always packaged perfectly, which I consider excellent service. They also usually put a smiley face or something on the bag, which is pretty cute. Also, if I order late enough in the day, they sometimes toss in a free doughnut or something, which is a sweet touch. There are only two (small) things that could improve. The first is that, when ordering an iced latte, you don't have the option to add an extra shot of espresso, nor do you have a box to include a message! They have the option to add a shot with their matcha latte, just not their regular latte, which I would order every time if they had to option to add a shot. This is a huge oversight, but an easy fix, so *hopefully* they fix it soon (especially because their iced latte is very good! They use intelligentsia's black cat espresso, which is delicious. It's just a little weak, because they only put in 1 shot of espresso). The second issue is with their plant-based chicken option. The fact that they have a plant-based chicken option is AMAZING, but they use Beyond Plant-Based Chicken Tenders, which aren't endometriosis-friendly. Since everything else they offer is amazing for those who have endometriosis, it would be really cool if they could offer plant-based chicken from Gardein or something, which is a lot less likely to cause an endo flare-up. Ultimately, this place is fantastic, and neither issue is enough to take away from a 5-star review (or stop me from ordering from here at least once a week). Would highly recommend! read more

I'm very happy I can walk to this location. Friendly staff, healthy food (both the salads and the wraps are delicious), and as an added bonus there's excellent A/C, internet, clean bathrooms, outlets (didn't count how many though!), and they don't mind if you stay and work. They also have refreshing beverages and donuts (also yummy). Oh, and there's a garage/lot and street parking in the Larchmont neighborhood. Do we spend way too much money here when we're on deadlines? Yes. But I'm so grateful that it's nearby and actually has little tables where we can sit and think clearly in the hot summer months. So many coffee shops/restaurants are not set up to linger or they lack functional AC. Alfalfa is minimalist and polished in its design. It works! That's all I know.
