I had a very good experience with Royal Majesty after I came home from the hospital. Nurse Marilyn Cabico was very kind, caring, and professional. My physical therapist, German, was also wonderful and helped me get stronger every day. They both gave me excellent treatment and always treated me with respect and kindness. For the last four years, our family has been with Royal Majesty, and we are very appreciative of the care they have given my dad. The personnel and caregivers have consistently shown real concern for his well-being, compassion, and attention. Due to his double amputation, my dad has needed constant care for his wounds, blood pressure, and diabetes. Royal Majesty has continuously gone above and above over the years to make sure he got the care and attention he required. Our family was able to rest easy knowing that someone was always watching out for him thanks to their commitment. supposed to have received call to come out for evaluation for inhome PT after surgery. Hospital case worker notified them of my release 12 noon. No phone call to setup appointment, as promised. i called and was told they would leave a message for Lourdes. i called back at 4:30 and was told she was not in today and that i was scheduled for next day. No time just the day. I asked if PT was available on the weekends and she could not and would not answer. Zero confidence that i will receive PT from this group. read more

My Mom is being seen by the staff at Royal Majesty Home Health . After having surgery we needed a qualified Nurse and Physical Therapist come to the house to make sure she was healing properly . I am giving them a five star rating because of the exceptional care and dedication being offered ! My mother was assigned to receive home care from Royal Majesty after being discharged from the hospital. From the beginning, the nurses and PT have been wonderful! Her nurse Patrick has always been respectful and dedicated to her treatment! Nursing Supervisor Ms. Grace, always thorough in her updating of her care and answering questions. Communications are as bad as it gets, ofter not able to contact the case worker, never returns calls, PT and OT therapist themselves are generally ok to good. The eval and closing visits are just token visits 70 to 80 percent of the time. I have had no more than 10/15 minute visits. Why do I stay, currently have good therapist who care, very engauaging and work diligently with me. Royal Majesty does not assign, nor supervisor them, most are indiviual contractors. read more

Evaluated for PT Friday Jan 10th. Approved for 2x a week. I was told Mon and wed and told see you Monday after 1 PM. No one showed and I called Royal Care at 3 PM and the woman says you were scheduled for today and she will call the therapist to see what happened. The Royal representative never called me back. Totally unacceptable. They should rename themselves Peasant Care, not Royal Care. Not exactly royal care, actually unreliable NO CARE! read more

Provider doesn't have good communications or phone access. After my mother was discharged to receive care, I had to repeatedly call them to have someone come out. Then I had to wait for them to call back to schedule an appointment. then they were late to the appointment and never scheduled a follow up appointment. I then had to once again reach out to them to schedule time for follow up therapy. they wanted to do a call as they go schedule instead of schedueling 2x or 3x for the week etc... Royal Majesty Home Care is excellent. My elderly uncle has been under the care of Royal Majesty Home Care for over a year and I have met 2 of the nurses. Both VERY Professional. Evelyn is caring for him now and she is very professional and caring. She has gone above and beyond her standard duties on multiple occasions! Right now, Long Beach is a hot-bed for COVID-19 and after he was in the hospital she does not hesitate to continue his care. She is an Angel! Also, I have spoken with Ray, the Case Manager, she was extremely professional at a time when my relatives were not. I am an RN and I can tell you we are extremely luck to have Royal Majesty Home Care. Some people just make things up and complain because they have nothing else to do. Was suppose to have Physical Therapy for 4 weeks after surgery. After 2 1/2 weeks was told I would get evaluated and see next steps but no pt from them until evaluation. No phone call from the person who was going to do the evaluation. . Contacted the physical therapist and he intervened. Will now be 3 1/2 weeks before I get evaluated and no more in home pt. Outpatient pt cannot start until I get discharged from in home therapy. So I will not have pt for 2 weeks. This is detrimental to my recovery of total knee replacement. Very disheartening. read more

Royal Majesty had a nurse, Shanda, coming daily to our home to take care of my father. He is battling cancer and a few other issues. Shanda had a terrible attitude. She snapped at family members, other nurses that were giving simultaneous care and even ambulance crew. When we questioned her attitude during our already stressful time, her response was, "I'm no longer comfortable working here and I'm not coming back". We contacted Royal Majesty to send someone else and they have no one. Memorial Care sent someone temporarily and they noticed that a dressing that is suppose to be changed weekly had not been changed in some time. It smelled of infection. We have a surplus of the same round dressing that is suppose to be changed weekly. We have a surplus because Shanda was not changing the dressing regularly. A few weeks ago my father had to go to the hospital for an infection at that same site. Now we know that he got the infection because she wasn't changing the dressing. You're only as good as your staff. Hopefully someone will take action to save the next patience the same neglect and unprofessional-ism. Loved ones dying of Cancer is hard enough on everyone. Caregivers have to be sympathetic and caring. read more

This has to be the worst nursing home care service I have ever experienced-I only have two others to compare them to, but they are far from competent. It is now 9 PM as I write this review and a nurse just called me about five minutes ago to tell me she would be at my home between eight to 8:30 AM tomorrow. This was after two previous phone calls telling me that my nurse could not come tomorrow morning even though she has been here five times in the last two weeks-unprofessional, discourteous,and to top it off, they are hard to understand, speak limited English. Sorry to be so negative, but this company should not be in the home care business.I have tried to leave them zero stars, but yelp insists on at least one star. So... 2/6/17/ -UPDATE They came out to my house again today, apparently they are the "go to" service for my insurance company. I have nothing to say about it. Nurse came out, could not even find my house, I had to go out at night, two blocks away and roll to the house in my wheelchair, while she followed. Finally, get to the house and could not turn the IV pump on, then tried to force me to sign a blank consent form saying I was financially liable for her service. Her company never filled in the amounts, even agreed that should've been done when I called them after she left- I have never signed a blank form in my life and I'm not about to start now. Anyway, she left after delivering some choice words to me, called me:"my dear friend.," while speaking to me in broken English. Left me sitting in my wheelchair with a needle stuck in my arm, blood dripped all over and ruined my pants. Can you say lawsuit, malpractice, failure to provide adequate medical care? read more

Since my original review, Royal Majesty's service has become worse. I don't know if it's a management issue or even software problems, but it's been brought to the attention of supervisors and management with no changes made - and conditions even became worse. They are: failure to communicate effectively and accurately, bad callback practices, chronic scheduling problems and failure to show up on time or at all, sending untrained staff to perform duties, nurses making false claims to PCP, lack of follow through or solutions after multiple complaints. This level of service would be summarily rejected in any industry, but it's even more egregious in healthcare. read more

This company discrimanates in their employment practices. The nurses are predominantly Asian, most of whom are Filipinos. The nurses are so overwhelmed with excessive patient loads, that they are unreliable and seldom arrive at the agreed upon time. Office management seems to have their heads so far up their asses that they can't see the light of day. They have a practice of cost cost cutting and providing inadequate quantities of wound care products--often using inferior quality brands, in spite of specific doctor orders. I told my doctor that I no longer wished to have Royal Majesty doing my wound care, even though it is a contracted preferred supplier through my HMO. read more
