Purchased a 2003 GMC Safari with low miles. Seller tried to sell the van as a clean title when it had a salvage title. I caught that thankfully. Renegotiated asking price since the van was a rebuilt title. Van began having overheating issues immediately after purchase after some troubleshooting it was discovered that I have a cracked head and seller just put some head gasket sealant in the engine and tried to sell the van without disclosing the mechanical issues. This dealership is very dishonest in their dealings, I would not recommend. read more

All I wanted to to was buy a van. I've been looking. I'm not sure what I want. I have extreme agoraphobia and have high risk for covid so I'm basicly stuck at home and also during pandemic car was stolen but I'm shelter in place so didn't get a new one. Havnt left my house in months and months and am ready to get out a little so I'm like ok I'm ready I want to buy a van finally been a dream for a long time plus. I have to move. So a van is best. I found an ad on Craigslist that said you can do it all virtually. For a place called royal motor. You can even have it delivered to your driveway. I'm not sure exactly what, I have a budget with a few options in my price range I just need someone who knows vans to help me pick one. I was so happy when i was the Craigslist and thought how great I can get a van and don't have to lave my house When I called the guy on the phone acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. And was accusatory like I was trying trying pull a trick or somthing. It was an extremely frustrating conversation and I finally said never mind. I was willing to pay extra for delivery if that's what he was getting at I don't even know what he problem with me was, but don't advertise that I can get a car and u can show it to me on video chat nd deliver it it me then make me seem like im being redic or shady when I call and ask about it. I just wanted him to sell me a van. I have some money and am ready to spend it I'm just not ready to get in an Uber or a lyft to get to a car lot though. I needed a van and Royal motors had great selection of work vans. I spoke to Ray who was very friendly and helpful on the phone. He gave me all the information I needed over the phone before I arrived. Upon arriving I was given a warm welcome and walked though the lot with Ray and inspected the vans I was interested in and took two of them out for a test drive. I finally decided on the one I wanted, made my purchase and was on my way. But here's the real story. Ray called me two weeks after the purchase to see how the things were. The fact is we were having a few issue. He told me to bring it back and he would take care of it. Ray and his staff are professional and service oriented. Royal Motor is close to my house. I was a manager of a small import company, and I needed a Van in a hurry, I did not want to rent one for a few months, so I went and talked to Reez. He got me into a fairly old Cargo Van, For $4K. The Van only had 40, 000 miles on it. 2 days later, I went back and told him I should of got one with a Tow Package. he gave me one- No high pressure selling. He has a large assortment of Cargo Vans and small Commercial vehicles. If you need a Van, or a pickup, or truck. You wont find a nicer guy. Oh yea- I drove that van for 2 years. I had no problems. I initially went through the website to get a quote and James Jamous responded very quickly. We handled a lot of the negotiation through email which was incredibly helpful because I have a busy work schedule and I didn't want to spend too much time at the dealership mulling over the details. Once I got to the dealership he took me through all of the cars and color combinations and helped me decide on a vehicle that I love. The only real downside was how long the process took once I got to the dealership. I'm sure they just have a lot of paperwork to handle but I like things to move quickly. Reez has a good variety of used vans, from minivans to very large rigs, and specializes in Contractor vehicles. He is old-school when it comes to business practices, a good thing, where an handshake and a promise means something, which is very hard to find these days. The vehicles are definitely used, and used previously from former business and contractors, some have dings, scratches, dents, repairs, and such from use, so they won't end up on the average used car lot. However, if something needs to be done, he will take care of it before he lets the van leave his lot. Prices for his area are decent, a bit high if one is from out of his area, one can bargain with him, and he is very kind and friendly as well. Also had zero pressure when I was there. He acknowledges the customer, then waits until the customer is ready to talk with him. A decent business, if you're looking for a decent used van, or a contractor/business looking for a decent used work or delivery vehicle. read more

Once I saved enough money I came back and got the van and it's been running great. I really needed a work van and these guys had exactly what I needed, I paid a little more than I wanted to but the only other van like what I was looking for was in Southern California and I would have paid that extra in fuel alone so it worked out and I just did not want to drive to SoCal, overall the service was great, Reza was easy to work with,we came to an agreement, he took my trade and got the deal done, he even threw in a rack that I could use for work when the deal was done (something he didn't have to do since we had already agreed) and he did it because he thought it would be helpful for my type of business, it's a small place and kind of tucked away in a tight lot but well worth it, they have been around for like 25 years and I will be going back next time I need a work truck. read more

"Don't give me that Blue Book idea." Just got off the phone with them, and I'm writing this immediately. I called about a van they had listed at $2500 over the Kelley Blue Book value, and spoke with a man named Reez. I mentioned that even with the max options their asking price was way over the Blue Book value of the vehicle. Reez got angry and told me "Don't give me that Blue Book idea. That is my price!" So I hung up. Don't shop here. There are better dealers in the Bay Area who aren't as rude and charge fair prices. read more

If I could give Reez of royal motors 10 stars i would! It all started with my work van giving out on me on a Sunday. I started looking for a new one the next day thats when i came across Royal Motors, walked on to the lot and met Reez, (off top I could tell he was honest and real as they come) we went over his inventory for a bit and I jumped on a van I wanted. He worked out a good price and made the deal happen the same day, everything was good till the next day when the van had some minor problems that scared the shit out of me. So I got ahold of Reez, he told me to bring the van back to get looked at by his mechanic while I was there he offered me another van to use while the one I purchased was being worked on, it had everything I needed in it shelfs and window screens. I ended up liking this one a whole lot better so I called Reez again and this van costed more than the one I originally purchased so we figured out how much more it would cost and I went down and we made the purchase final.REEZ IS A STANDUP GUY AND HAS EARNED MY BUSINESS FOR LIFE , and the van runs like a champ read more

After shopping a bit I went to Royal Motor and told them what I wanted. Two days later they had what I was looking for. This time it's a Ford cargo van. They know where to find good used vehicles and can fix minor problems. I would not have found this vehicle on my own. If you are looking for a great commercial vehicle dealer, this is it. Their prices are reasonable and they stand behind EVERY vehicle they sell. I have purchased 11 vehicles from them over the past 3 years and I have never been let down. They provide service to my company above and beyond what other dealers do. Although the vehicles are pre-owned, they are sound and each has a safety inspection comperable to any major auto dealership. Their interest rate is a little high, but for a person opening a start-up and wants a dependable, reliable vehicle this is the place. I have searched dealerships in the local area....BE WARE!!!!, Royal, by far, is the best one around. I am very surprised this place is still in business! I remember buying a 6 or 7 year old VW from this establishment a very long while back, before they got into selling commercial vehicles. For some reason I really wanted a VW and found one in Auto-Trader or something similar, so I got a lift for the 45 mile drive to this lot. When I test drove the car, the brake idiot light came on and the car idled horribly. The lot owner gave me the hard sell and told me that the car I had my eye on had never been in an accident and that if I signed a contract to buy the car, he would fix brakes and tune the car before I picked up the car the next day. Well, I really wanted a car, so I made a small deposit and got a lift to the lot the next day. On the next day, when I got in car started the engine I noticed the car still would not idle right and the brake idiot light was still on. I'm thinking "this is an over sight on the part of the dealer", since I had already made deposit the day before and I had a signed contract that stated these items would be fixed. I went into the office and brought up my concerns but foolishly put my money down on the desk, and immediately the owner reached over and grabs my cash roll and put it in his shirt pocket and then demands I give him the contract on which he had written he would fix the defective brakes and tune the car. I told him "no, fix the car or refund my money, I forgot my copy of the contract at home, if you are not going to make the brakes safe and tune the care, let's call the deal off and I will be on my way" but Mr. Reza? won't refund anything, nor turn over the car to me unless I give him the contract he signed the day before on which he stated he would fix brakes and idle problem. He already has all the money I agreed to pay for the car. I sat in office for what seemed like an hour and we argue back and forth me: "fix the car or refund my money", him: "no, no, give me the contract", all the while he will neither give me back my money or give me the keys, and finally he relented and made me promise to mail him my copy of the contract and gave me the keys and I drove the POS home. Later I had the the car more thoroughly inspected and noticed that the front end had sloppy weld marks and bondo, and it looked like there was obviously in a front-end collision that was very poorly repaired. I was too foolish to do anything about the poor running car or bad brakes or the misrepresented car. I think I drove the car for less than 1 year, but it never ran right and always stalled at stop lights. I finally sold it to a guy in town. I ran into the guy who bought the car after me about 1 year after he purchased it from me, and he said the engine had already blown up and he ended up junking the car at a total loss. I would avoid Royal Motor like the plague if I were you. I hope I have saved some other dumb kid from being ripped off by this guy. read more
