Lemons'R'Us should be name of this lot. Please don't buy from Star 1 Motors, unless you want a POS vehicle. Adil the owner knew I was desperate and in need of a vehicle. I bought a truck from him told me everything had worked fine my main concern was the 4x4 because I needed it for work. He told me he had just put a new part on the truck and said the 4x4 had been fixed. I took the truck to work the very next day and the 4x4 didn't work. He had me buy the most expensive warranty coverage and now I understand why because he knew something was wrong with the truck before selling it to me. As a Muslim brother I never knew another Muslim brother would do such a thing and that's why I trusted him because Muslim brothers look out for each other. Now that his mechanic can't repair the issue on the truck Adil wants me to pay out of pocket and use my warranty to repair the truck. If you do decide to purchase please make sure you do your own diagnostic on the vehicle before signing. Adil is money hungry and will do anything to make a sell and go as far as lying. Needed a new car and I wasn't trying to go through an expensive dealership nor drive far from San Leandro. I Used cargurus and found a 2015 Kia listed at about 11500 in the Hayward area. This was perfect, I messaged the business and within an hour received a confirmation email. The next day I got a call mid afternoon as a follow up too. Unfortunately I missed the call due to work but when I returned the call I was answered by Adil lakhlifi. He confirmed the car was available for a test drive and was available at it's listed price on cargurus. I was in contact with the dealership over the course of the week, and called in advance on a Saturday right before leaving to make sure it was still available - as I had to drive more than 2 hours to get to Hayward. When I arrived, the dealer informed me that the odometer on the car had been tampered with and wasn't showing an accurate account of the miles (almost a 60,000 mile discrepancy). They then tried to sell me on a more expensive car, which may have been a good deal - but was out of my budget. I would have expected to learn about the issues with the car I came to see on the phone before wasting a whole day to drive out.
