Me and my friend decided to get our nails done, we'd tried two other salons and no one could get us in expect for this salon As it was a bit late and last minute. They were So friendly and funny and even helped me decide on a shape while also being honest and respectful that a certain shape wouldn't look too good, which I HIGHLY enjoyed having a professional opinion. Charlie worked on my nails and did a wonderful job at giving me the details and design I wanted! overall it was a great experience, if you're looking for a fun time with friends and even funnier conversations like Me and she had your heading to the right place. I'll definitely be coming back for another set! The atmosphere is lovely with calming music and comfortable massage chairs as told to me by my friend.

Couldn't recommend this place any less, super sloppy work and she didn't care. Nails are different thicknesses. Was super aggressive with my hands, like why have we normalized this?? And to top it off they had the audacity to ask if I was going to tip with cash or card. Please don't go here!!

The owner changed their message because his original was so rude and non-sequitor. If you'd like a VERY beautiful manicure/pedicure and sweet people that offer great customer service, go to Honey Belle Nail Lounge in Rohnert Park. My Mom told then the story about this horrible location and the girl getting serviced next to her had a very similiar horrible experience ce with the man and with the group of woman talking smack and arguing, so she walked out too. No one is trying to go back here. Not when thr owner throws a tantrum and uses the f word against potential clients because he couldn't get his appointments in order. read more

I came in for a simple fill on 5 toes and new acrylics on 2 other and the other were just polish since my nails had grown out enough. I had called originally and was told it would be $65. I had requested a simple white French tip with a berry pink for the base. Not only did the service take over 2 hours but she cut two of my toes while drilling. On top of this multiple toes came out crooked despite me saying multiple times I noticed it and needed it fixed, they also messed up the French tip by having them bumpy crooked and all different sizes. At one point I had to just ask for the brush and show her how I wanted it. After that she took the brush back and said I would now be charged $90 for the service and she wanted a tip as well. Another woman getting her nails done was clearly unsatisfied as well and ended up getting her nails removed and walking out. read more

I went on 5/17 right when they opened. I called because they weren't open yet, but understandably so just a few minutes late. I needed a fill and they were more than happy to help! The service was relaxing and it was great to know some of the nail techs! I had one tiny issue just the clean up under the nails. Simple! Well today on 5/19 one nail flew off I called after working they let me come in and fixed my nail for free and for a discounted price re did my nails due to the issues. Although the minor flaws the customer service was fantastic and more than willing to fix the minor mishaps. Thank you!!! read more

One Star, and even that feels generous I don't usually write reviews, but what I witnessed at this nail salon was appalling enough to speak up. While waiting for my wife's appointment, I overheard a technician make a snide comment about another customer's appearance--just because she politely declined an upsell. The remark wasn't just unprofessional, it was downright degrading. Upselling is one thing. But shaming someone for not spending more? That's a whole different level of disrespect. What's worse, there was zero remorse. No apology. No acknowledgment. Just smug indifference. This place clearly values profit over people, and it shows. If you believe in basic decency and respect, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will never recommend this salon to anyone. Ever. read more

I had moved back to Santa Rosa two years ago and yet not found a Nail Salon that I like until today. Royal Nails on Mendocino Avenue across from Santa Rosa junior College. You are treated so nicely! They will not let you leave until you are happy with their services. Very good vibe in the salon. I had the works done, manicure, pedicure, and face waxing. I will definitely be back to this salon. I'm not usually one to complain, but I am so disappointed in the results. The person who did my nails applied the gel polish all over the skin and cuticles. I requested for it to be fixed and they filed a portion but it didn't help. I am now 3 days out and of course it is lifting. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid. It was a complete rush job & this place focuses more on getting people in and out rather than quality. read more

TLDR terrible scheduling; long wait times. Unfortunately, this salon suffers from bad management, as so many salons do. I have been twice, and once to their sister location Sea Spa, which is the same thing. Basically, there is no proper scheduling, you'll call and they say sure, come on in, but there is clearly no communication with the staff. I saw this play out at least 3 different times in my limited experience, every time someone came in and said they made an appointment, the staff had no idea what they were there for, didn't have enough people to handle them, and I saw one person leave after waiting for an hour (they called ahead). read more

Absolutely hated my experience. I called this morning for a fill, they sent me to their 1066 Fourth St location to get me in at 9:50am. The guy who worked on my nails did them rushed, completely forgot that I needed a nail tip (or just didn't want to do it) and did an acrylic overlay which I did not ask for. He complained the first 15 mins about him having to remove the work I had on previously & said I should've been charged more. My thumbs are two completely different sizes bc well.. he simply didn't care to check & did I mention he didn't place a nail tip? I asked for a black french tip, was he capable of doing it? No. So I had to get a black solid nail color which I did not want whatsoever. I left crying and completely upset. I definitely do NOT recommend this nail salon unless you want to be rushed & have a shitty nail set. $50 down the drain (w/ no tip). I'm posting what I originally asked for & what I got. read more

Royal nails WAS my go-to for 7 years. However I just got a pedicure and noticed everything was different and cleared out. Then the technician tells me they have another location, "sea spa" on 4th. It surprised me as this must be a new thing or they just took over this shop. However, I quit going to sea spa years ago due to the 20 minute rushed pedicures and that is exactly what I got here my last time. (Which was weird since I was the ONKY customer). Now I am left to find a new place that actually soaks your feet before they start working on them. read more

I had been going to Royal nails about every other month for a little over a year and was so happy with their services. When I went in a couple days ago I found out they had changed ownership. The new owner is rude and pushy. She is rough too. I had an appointment so she had to take me eventhough they were full and she was in the middle of a mani. She didn't seem to know how to deal with this situation so she just left the woman getting the manicure sitting there the whole time while she did my pedicure. She was rough and fast. She didn't even rub lotion on me at all. She charged me $50 and my feet are still rough and cracked. I am pretty mad. I will never be back. I was supposed to get my eyebrows waxed too but she forgot because she just wanted me out of there and I didn't remind her because there was no way I was trusting this woman with my eyebrows. read more

On a Sunday afternoon I had an appointment at noon time with Nancy for Manny Petty when I got there no one knew anything about anything about my appointment or what to do with me Nancy said she was busy and told me to come back. I said no I have an appointment at noon time I cannot come back. They all started arguing in Vietnamese. They didn't know what to do so then they said yes yes we could help you and then they just looked at me so I said well what do you want stand up sit down what's going on and then they started again so I said you know what never mind it seems like you guys are not prepared for me so I walked out. Some guy followed me out and said talk to me. Why are you leaving and I said because you're very ill prepared for I don't have time to waste. So he said we could see you now I go that's what you said but still how long am I supposed to wait he goes well just wait. I have no idea what that meant and I said no so then he said Fuc? I was quickly checked in and had an amazing service appointment with Angelita. I go to pay and I notice (too late) that the amount being charged is more than the online bundle price quoted. When I spoke to the gal at the front she was helpful but it would have been better had she caught the issue BEFORE I caught it as I was paying. Now I have to call the manager and take up her time to help correct this issue because now it's a matter of principle regardless of the amount.

It covered my tan lines (apple watch, anyone?) more than any tan I've gotten in the past, which already gave this tan bonus points. But the real benefit is the color. Not a shade or tinge of orange. It looks so natural on my skin and mimics exactly how I would look if I tanned naturally. But unlike a natural tan, there's no sun damage and the solution cured in 4 hours, since it's an express formula. Second, besides being friendly and sweet, Ashley is super accommodating. She does mobile tans - so helpful - and came to my house for the trial (where she also did my mom on the fly), and is also coming out to the Airbnb I'm staying at before my wedding to do my tan, as well as doing my mom and her friend at a different location a few days prior. Her pricing is competitive or better than other artists in the area, and she has special deals for larger groups. If you live in the area or want to do a tan for a special occasion nearby, I highly recommend Ashley. You will LOVE your tan after seeing her!

I recently got a manicure and pedicure with Kiki and Lina, and they both did such a great job super attentive, detailed, and genuinely so kind! The salon itself is always clean, the atmosphere is relaxing, and they even offer complimentary drinks, which is such a nice touch. The massage chairs during the pedicure are a bonus too. What I really appreciate is that they take their time and focus on quality, but the service is still efficient you're not sitting there forever. I had such an amazing experience at Royal Nails! Tiffany is truly an artist. She did a beautiful French tip pedicure for me with a detailed white flower design -- and even added glitter to make it extra special. She's such a perfectionist in the best way -- when one part of the design didn't come out exactly how she wanted, she redid it without hesitation until it was perfect. On top of her talent, she was so patient with me, even when I made a few mistakes during the process. Plus, her massage skills were incredible -- one of the best foot massages I've ever had during a pedicure. i went to royal like i always do and i had an appointment, i was attended really quickly. Then they did my nails just how i asked and were super careful not to file the top of my nail down like i told them. They left my nails feeling so good and clean, i normally get acrylics, but i wanted my natural nails this time. Love their service !!! read more
