They were So friendly and funny and even helped me decide on a shape while also being honest and respectful that a certain shape wouldn't look too good, which I HIGHLY enjoyed having a professional opinion. Charlie worked on my nails and did a wonderful job at giving me the details and design I wanted! overall it was a great experience, if you're looking for a fun time with friends and even funnier conversations like Me and she had your heading to the right place. I wasn't crazy about the old owner, but at least she wasnt a toxic mess. I believe that she owns Blossom nails in Sebastopol. ............. The man that works here cussed my mother just now, because she didnt want to stay after they argued in front of her, because half of them wanted to honor her appointment and the other half said they didn't know that she had an appointment. So my Mom made an appointment and talked to the man, who said she'd be seeing Nancy. Today, Nancy said "Oh I'm too busy. Come back." My mother said "I have an appointment. So they all started arguing in their language. My Mom asked, "so what do you want me to do?" They said "Come back." She said "No, I'm over this, forget it." The man followed her out and said "Why are you leaving?" "Because I had an appointment and none of you are prepared for it. So he says "F*** you" And my Mom gave it right back to him, plus some. Then he took out a $10 bill and said "I have money!" What???? Also, I gave then a chance a few years ago. I wanted stilleto/coffin nails. They gave me crooked acrylics, even added tip... but kept then as short as my natural nails. They looked like a child did them. I didnt have time for then to fix them, had to leave town with trash nails and when I came back, she offered to fix them. They actually looked worse the 2nd time. Also, both time I went in I had to wait as they don't respect their appointments at all. Don't waste your money on this bad luck place. And what ever that guy said I his language about Mom as she walked away, let there be triple for him. 2 stars because it's harder for the business to take have 2 stars that it is 1 star reviews. read more

I went on 5/17 right when they opened. I called because they weren't open yet, but understandably so just a few minutes late. I needed a fill and they were more than happy to help! The service was relaxing and it was great to know some of the nail techs! I had one tiny issue just the clean up under the nails. Simple! Well today on 5/19 one nail flew off I called after working they let me come in and fixed my nail for free and for a discounted price re did my nails due to the issues. Although the minor flaws the customer service was fantastic and more than willing to fix the minor mishaps. Thank you!!! read more

I'm not usually one to complain, but I am so disappointed in the results. The person who did my nails applied the gel polish all over the skin and cuticles. I requested for it to be fixed and they filed a portion but it didn't help. I am now 3 days out and of course it is lifting. Very disappointing for the amount of money paid. I went in for my first time to get a fill after going to other salons that I didn't like. The man who helped me was so kind, patient and really took his time perfecting the nail quality. I came in early on a Monday so I was the only one in there but they had calm music playing and had a relaxed and laid back ambiance to it. Plus much more affordable than the other salons I went to! On a Sunday afternoon I had an appointment at noon time with Nancy for Manny Petty when I got there no one knew anything about anything about my appointment or what to do with me Nancy said she was busy and told me to come back. I said no I have an appointment at noon time I cannot come back. They all started arguing in Vietnamese. They didn't know what to do so then they said yes yes we could help you and then they just looked at me so I said well what do you want stand up sit down what's going on and then they started again so I said you know what never mind it seems like you guys are not prepared for me so I walked out. Some guy followed me out and said talk to me. Why are you leaving and I said because you're very ill prepared for I don't have time to waste. So he said we could see you now I go that's what you said but still how long am I supposed to wait he goes well just wait. I have no idea what that meant and I said no so then he said Fuc? One Star, and even that feels generous I don't usually write reviews, but what I witnessed at this nail salon was appalling enough to speak up. While waiting for my wife's appointment, I overheard a technician make a snide comment about another customer's appearance--just because she politely declined an upsell. The remark wasn't just unprofessional, it was downright degrading. Upselling is one thing. But shaming someone for not spending more? That's a whole different level of disrespect. What's worse, there was zero remorse. No apology. No acknowledgment. Just smug indifference. This place clearly values profit over people, and it shows. If you believe in basic decency and respect, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I will never recommend this salon to anyone. Ever. read more

TLDR terrible scheduling; long wait times. Unfortunately, this salon suffers from bad management, as so many salons do. I have been twice, and once to their sister location Sea Spa, which is the same thing. Basically, there is no proper scheduling, you'll call and they say sure, come on in, but there is clearly no communication with the staff. I saw this play out at least 3 different times in my limited experience, every time someone came in and said they made an appointment, the staff had no idea what they were there for, didn't have enough people to handle them, and I saw one person leave after waiting for an hour (they called ahead). read more

Absolutely hated my experience. I called this morning for a fill, they sent me to their 1066 Fourth St location to get me in at 9:50am. The guy who worked on my nails did them rushed, completely forgot that I needed a nail tip (or just didn't want to do it) and did an acrylic overlay which I did not ask for. He complained the first 15 mins about him having to remove the work I had on previously & said I should've been charged more. My thumbs are two completely different sizes bc well.. he simply didn't care to check & did I mention he didn't place a nail tip? I asked for a black french tip, was he capable of doing it? No. So I had to get a black solid nail color which I did not want whatsoever. I left crying and completely upset. I definitely do NOT recommend this nail salon unless you want to be rushed & have a shitty nail set. $50 down the drain (w/ no tip). I'm posting what I originally asked for & what I got. read more

Royal nails WAS my go-to for 7 years. However I just got a pedicure and noticed everything was different and cleared out. Then the technician tells me they have another location, "sea spa" on 4th. It surprised me as this must be a new thing or they just took over this shop. However, I quit going to sea spa years ago due to the 20 minute rushed pedicures and that is exactly what I got here my last time. (Which was weird since I was the ONKY customer). Now I am left to find a new place that actually soaks your feet before they start working on them. read more

I had been going to Royal nails about every other month for a little over a year and was so happy with their services. When I went in a couple days ago I found out they had changed ownership. The new owner is rude and pushy. She is rough too. I had an appointment so she had to take me eventhough they were full and she was in the middle of a mani. She didn't seem to know how to deal with this situation so she just left the woman getting the manicure sitting there the whole time while she did my pedicure. She was rough and fast. She didn't even rub lotion on me at all. She charged me $50 and my feet are still rough and cracked. I am pretty mad. I will never be back. I was supposed to get my eyebrows waxed too but she forgot because she just wanted me out of there and I didn't remind her because there was no way I was trusting this woman with my eyebrows. read more

I've been to this salon three times, and all three visits were very disappointing. I feel people should know about the unprofessional and unsanitary experiences here. First visit: I scheduled a 10am appointment for builder gel, but the salon was still closed when I arrived. When staff finally showed up, the technician pushed acrylic instead of doing what I requested and complained the entire time. Second visit: I booked a builder gel fill, but the technician refused to do it, saying I had "used all the product last time," and insisted on acrylic instead. Third visit: Rosie performed an acrylic fill, repeatedly cut my fingers without apologizing, and used dirty tools despite my request for clean ones. When I politely asked her to fix the shape of my nails, she became angry, slapped my arms away, and refused to finish the work properly. The staff here are rude, unprofessional, and unsanitary.
