Just an FYI. They do take card but charge an upcharge. They also prefer tips in cash as well. So basically... Bring cash! :) They are literally across the street from me and how I have missed them for the past 3 years is beyond me. I've looked all over the place for a decent nail salon in Studio City that has decent parking, decent prices, and good service. And let me tell ya. To find all three in Studio City is TOUGH! They have a decent selection of colors. I'm sure if I wanted something more special it might've been harder to find a color that I liked but I'm really really easy to please on color as I normal only ever get regular color on my toes. And since I work in Kitchens, I don't wear anything on my hands. So as far as gel colors... Dips... And stuff like that... I honestly have no idea. :/ Sorry peeps.. I got the Deluxe Pedi for $40 and it was great! The lady I had was good at what she does. I honestly was worried when I first got her as she was one of the older ladies and I've had some bad experience with older ladies. BUT this lady was great! She has really great attention to detail and cut off all my build up on my toes. And with Covid I've been getting pedicures like once every few months instead of every month like usual. So I knew I had some build up. And the best part was that they didn't try to upsell. I hate it when all they do during your service is upsell upsell upsell. I'm trying to relax and you are trying too hard. Just let me relax. Geez. And the best thing was that I didn't make an appointment. I just walked in and there were able to take me in right away. They used this citrus sugar scrub on my legs and the smell was heavenly and while she was rubbing in it, she was also giving a little massage which was great! I always always wish the massage was longer but at $1 for 1 minute, I'll pass as it can add up pretty quickly. Overall, I'll be back here as it was a decent pedicure at a decent price and of course for me, I can't beat the location! read more

Service was rushed and unrelaxing. Nail tech first pushed the cuticles so hard that it was painful and aggressive. Then, she cut the cuticles too close to the point where they started bleeding for 3 of my fingers (one is still swollen and in pain the day after). She said it's because my fingers were "too sensitive" but out of the past several times I've gotten my nails, none of them made my cuticles bleed like this. Also, the bowl she used to soak my fingers was pulled from a pedicure bin, so I really hope it was actually washed before she put my fingers in it... Overall was not worth the $30 read more

Got there and there were no customers they sent the male to do my full set. Charged me $65 for a a terrible acrylic set. Took about 2 hrs. Didn't notice the terrible job until I left. I had a dinner to attend so I couldn't go back right away to get them fixed. Called to make an app for the next day and couldn't take me in until 2 days later. They were fixed and I would of not left a review but when I was leaving the girl the girl said "next time say something here don't waste time" yeah next time don't have people who don't know how to do nails practicing on your paying customers. The cuticle cleanup is always gentle and detailed, and they take extra time to double check their work after each coat. I am RARELY happy with my nails. I am ECSTATIC!!!!! I have never been this happy with my nails EVER!!!!! Diem did EXACTLY WHAT I ASKED FOR. Most techs give me what they want and not what I ask for. I use to go religiously to Blush Nail Bar my tech said I couldn't get a curve on a coffin shape. No matter how many times I ask her if she was certain SHE SAID NOT POSSIBLE even though I would see it on others. The polish was thick half the time and the nails popped off all the time. One time 3 nails in the first week. When I went back to fix she actually copped an attitude Then when asked if she had a basic red color she would say no if she didn't want to spend too much time looking for it because some other tech had it. Not the least to mention I tipped her exceptionally well almost half the coast to do the nails. I'm done with Blush!!!!! And they aren't cheap!!! MYSTIC IS THE SPOT!!!!! read more

Parking can be challenging at lunchtime and early evening. Easy parking access in the mornings. The pricing is good, especially for the quality. Gel pedicure was between $35 and $40; depending upon an add-on service. Their gel paint lasts, lasts in Winter nearly 6 weeks. I've been going here for many years, and I think I'm finally done. I feel that I am a loyal, generous and non complainer customer, but lately I feel annoyed each time I go there. First of all, the owner has raised her prices. Second, when you ask for a pedicure they say, are you sure you don't want a manicure too? Third, the woman who does massages literally comes and starts rubbing your back insisting on giving a massage. If you accept one for 10 minutes, she says 10 more? Lastly, when paying, they refuse to take anything but cash. I rarely have cash and have to go to their ATM (they boldly direct me to) and take out cash with a fee. Guess what? I came here to get them fixed and whoever did my nails suggested I get dip acrylic to help the nails grow back. I had never gotten dip or acrylic but I trusted her. I came in for a simple manicure and ended up experiencing the poorest customer service. I'm not someone who gets angsty when people speak in different languages around me, but when what is being said is OBVIOUSLY about me, I have a problem with that. I originally asked for a gel manicure, but after deciding on a non-gel color I liked better, the manicurist and his coworker exchanged looks, said something to each other in a language I am not familiar with, and laughed. Then, instead of starting my manicure, the employee and his coworker were taking more time to look for gel colors that mimics the one I had chose. They seemed very thirsty to upcharge me for gel color. After he finally started my manicure, his cell phone rings, he puts a finger up at me, and walks to the back to take his call. WHAT?! Mystic nails has some great technicians. The pedicures are consistently awesome and they've always done a good job with my eyebrow wax. I even had one employee, Tiffany, help me take my old gel mani off at no cost. I attempted to take it off at home and I've always been successful, but this time some of the gel polish was really stuck on my nail. That was really nice of her. I think she did it because I had to wait longer than usual for my eyebrow waxing. However, its just one pushy owner trying to upsell you constantly - reason I'm bumping one star off. Just want an eyebrow wax, well you're going to get the salesman pitch, "Want pedicure? manicure? How about massage?? How about upper lip wax? Bikini wax? It seriously gives me anxiety and it makes me feel so uncomfortable. Just STOP. First of all, you don't even have a massage chair for a back massage service.
