Great Shawarma! We visit this pizzeria several times a month for shawarma, and we're always absolutely delighted! The shawarma is always fresh, very juicy, with a generous amount of meat and delicious sauce. We really appreciate the consistent quality and attention to detail. This place has become one of our favorites, and we always look forward to coming back.

Yeah people dont smile here much lol but you need to keep in mind the cultural code. The food is good tho. I always get chicken shawarma and it always comes out great tasting. The bread is crispy yet fluffy inside. The portion is big and ingredients are fresh. The parking is small but you can always find a spot. They have 4 tables but people usually order to go. Highly recommended and worth trying

    Gyro Sub

Family member recommended to try this place out and I did. I ordered gyro sub and Philly cheesesteak. Didn't like the gyro sub, too much mayo and the ingredients don't go well together. The Philly Cheesesteak was good but part of the onions were burned. Since I haven't tasted much from this restaurant I can't really say if it's good or bad. I will give their pizza a try soon and go from there. Phone customer service was very unprofessional while taking the order. I want to say more but I won't until I order again from this place. Then it will be a fair review.

We go to Royale Pizza at least once a month from West Hills. Pizza and cheese bread made with quality ingredients! You will not go wrong. Family owned.

This place deserves zero stars!! I order pizzas from this business in their website about once a month. They make a ton of mistakes usually but nothing to big of a deal. Today I ordered pizzas for my class and tried online but it wasn't working so I called them and placed the order. The total was for $62. My co-worker went in to pick up the pizzas and she used my card. When she came back I saw I was charged $92. I called them to tell them I was mischarged and the lady on the phone told me I wasn't. She told me large pizzas cost $12.99 and I told her the website states $8.99. She told me they do not have a website!!! Literally told me that. Here is their website: Royalpizzavannuys.com I explained this to her and that all I wanted was my money back she she hung up on me. I called her back and told her I would dispute the charge and contact the Better Business Bureau and she told me "I don't care." I have contacted them and now I will be letting people know to not go here. Awful customer service and the fact they didn't even admit to wrong doing is what upset me. I would have been okay with them stealing my money if they would have just apologized. Don't Go Here!!!!!

I drive by this place all the time. Everything was spot on. The pepperoni pizza was made with quality ingredients. The cheese was bubbly and salted just right. The gyro plate was generous. The meat itself was moist and fresh. Not the presliced frozen stuff other local restaurants have switched to. Lastly I ordered the baked hot wings, they were seasoned well although I will ask for them well done next time for a little crispinessSaved some money by ordering straight from the website vs delivery.

I'm not even being dramatic. They made the best pizza i've ever had in my life. I ate it and I couldn't stop eating.

Thin crust that is very flavorful, good sauce, not too much cheese, just enough, not that deep dish stuff that midwestern people think is pizza but is something else entirely. When I first moved here, you could not get the real deal, it was disappointing. Then the grandson of Regina's Pizza in the north End opened up the Pizza Connection is Canoga Park and it was really good. He opened a bunch of other locations but over time, not sure why, the pizza just wasn't as good. My child Emily Asher Kellis disagrees, still loves it, but she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so what does she really know about pizza. After trying a bunch of different "New York City" pizza joints that were just ok, we found Santino's NY Pizza in Sherman Oaks and were very happy with it, authentic East Coast pizza. Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

There's always space for shops like this that keep things simple and stay in their lane. Today I tried a slice of their Eggplant and one of their Pesto. The eggplant was good, but the Pesto was great. The eggplant needed a bit more flavor, whereas the pesto was rich and paired perfectly with the ricotta. The staff here is awesome. They're always ready to help and since it's a small space inside, they'll keep to themselves if you eat in there. If the weather is good, I prefer to eat out front. Despite the busy street, it's surprisingly peaceful with a slice in hand. Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn is a great option if you're close by and looking for a solid, cheap slice!

After all, some things lose their soul when they leave home. I am happy to confirm, this is not one of them. The remarkable thing is not that the pizza is good. It's that it feels faithful. Somehow they've captured the character of the original, right down to the chew of the crust and the balance of flavors that made people fall in love with it in the first place. They must be sourcing their water from New York, because they absolutely nailed it. Yes, it's expensive. Then again, so is nearly everything in Los Angeles, especially in Studio City. The difference here is that the price fades from memory the moment the pizza hits the table. This is one of those rare places where the product justifies the cost. If it's your first visit, begin with the Prince Perfection. Then make your way to the Spicy Pepperoni Slice, a piece of pizza that borders on indulgence and somehow still leaves you wanting another bite. Good pizza fills you up. Great pizza stays with you. Prince Street Pizza belongs firmly in the latter category.

If you don't know it, Joe Peeps is on Magnolia, just East of Whitsett, with the cartoon of Joe (presumably) "peeping" over a wall. They've been here 45 years, and were, for a long time, one of the only places to get a somewhat traditional NY Slice or whole pie. You park and enter from the back, and are immediately visually assaulted by walls covered in graffiti, like those in the sadly long-gone Wiener Factory. The dining area is small, with just a few tables, the vast majority of the overall space having been given to the prep area and ovens. You order at the counter, pay, and wait for them to bring you your food. Service is quick and friendly, and there are plenty of options, including salads and pasta dishes -- some other folks were eating cheesy garlic bread that looked very good. I opted for a slice with sausage, and was happy to find the little nubs of pork were well-seasoned and had a little punch of spice atop their specifically Italian flavor. The tomato sauce had a thickness you don't often see on pizza these days, and I really enjoyed the slightly acidic, very fresh tomato taste. Mozzarella was high quality with very good flavor, making for a truly satisfying slice. Crust is a bit thicker than I usually prefer, BUT: they know how to bake their pies, so the crust still has a proper crisp and crunch to it despite the thickness. The crust also has its own flavor, so you know that THEY know how to do what they do. It's not the prettiest, most uniform-looking slice in town, but it IS one of the better tasting, definitely homemade slices you'll find for sure. The only drawback I found was a bit of an aroma coming from the restrooms. I've been in lots of places with this issue, and I know it can't be resolved without a full remodeling, which these folks are unlikely to do. That said, the pizza here is much, much better than what you'll get at the fancy chain that's recently opened across the street and is no-doubt creating competition -- and I'd rather have the good pizza than anything else.
