I ordered the Liotta. Street parking is metered, but I was able to find a spot without too much trouble. This is New Haven style apizza, and the Liotta is a tomato pie, so it's all about the sauce and crust. The crust had that classic char and chew you want, with crispy edges and a nice bite. The tomato sauce was bright, flavorful, and really the star of the show. Simple, balanced, and done right without needing a ton of extras. Inside had that rocker type vibe to it. A solid spot to sit down and enjoy good pizza. Staff was friendly and service was smooth the whole time. Definitely a place I'd come back to when I'm in the mood for proper New Haven style pie.
The White Rabbit is a delicious pizza (garlic ricotta, pecorino, spinach). The pepperoni pizza was fine, but I would get the White Rabbit every time. Skip the salads, they are forgettable - browning at the edges, and nothing special. Though the salad dressing tastes good.
Probably one of the top 15 pizza places in LA (and that's saying something because there's so many amazing pizza spots all over LA!). The service was great, and the ambiance is not bad either. It can be a bit of a wait for the pizza if the oven gets backed up, but it was definitely worth the wait and a pretty good value too. Ozzy's Appiza was fighting an uphill battle since I've come to realize that I prefer a thick, Detroit style square. That being said, their Run The Jewlz pie pretty much did just as well, if not better than any other spot I've had a good, thin slice. I also tried their house made ranch. It's very heavy on the dill, which I enjoyed, but not worth $3. I rate Ozzy's 3 stars because the price point is a bit high and they don't sell by the slice. All pies are 14", but with how thin they are, it's basically a personal pizza. (Maybe just me?) $30 for a "personal pizza" plus you can only try a pizza if you're committed to a whole pie alienates me. As an introduction to New Haven style pizza, this was a good experience. Staff here is helpful and friendly. The black, custom pizza box is awesome and I love the names of these pizzas! I'll be back to get the Bada Bing, so I can pay respects to the boss!
Came here with a first timer last night to have him try the pizza fresh out of the oven but the store personnel stated at 8:36 all orders would be to go as they were closing at 9pm. Seems kind of early for a Friday night. I was going to order more but refrained because I live 20 minutes away and didnt want everything to get cold.
Ozzy's!!!!! Let me tell you about the awesomeness of Ozzy's Apizza, located in the NoHo Commons Shopping center with neighboring foodie spots, fitness, entertainment, living and more. This pizza place is all good vibes on Chandler Blvd/Lankershim Blvd and worth the drive or LA Metro ride, as it sits directly across from North Hollywood Station. They have cool picnic style table seating outside and a good amount of table and chair seating or bar seating along the window overlooking all things North Hollywood. When I stopped in I was greeted with nothing but cheer and the sounds of Seether in my ear. Alt rock is the big genre here, and I'm all in. I knew Ozzy's had a huge variety of tomato pies including their The Liotta Pie, The White Rabbit Pie, Your Very Own Cheese Pie, The Swanson Pie (Ron would be proud), The Bada Bing Pie, The Bob Ross and more. Being plant-based I wasn't sure if they had just a simple vegan cheese pizza or a signature so I asked and ordered a perfect regular vegan cheese pie (Your Very Own Cheese Pie veganized) that was one of the best pizzas I've every had the pleasure of enjoying. Boxed up and ready in ten minutes which gave me time to take in all the cool decor, stickers, awesome mural, wall art, modern neo industrial mild rusticness and full layout of Ozzy's. I didn't get to meet thee Ozzy, the owner's pup in the pics and on your pizza boxes, I'm sure he was cooling his paws at home on a warm summer day. I'm sure he made a cameo for their grand opening and was like I've done my duty, now give me a treat please and go make all the pies so you can buy me more treats and toys lol. I was gearing up to head to the movies so I had half my pie there for lunch and the rest for dinner. They were extremely helpful and helping me order, even let me know that the white sauce is dairy based. Nothing beats the classic red sauce and theirs is a 10/10. Additional I've tried their fountain drinks including some amazing lemonades. They also have water cups for everyone. Grab and go canned and bottled beverages. Italian Ice for dessert with blue raspberry, chocolate, or cherry for flavors. Little caesar salad (classic parm) or a This is salad (dairy-free). Extra clean hallway (leading to the restroom) and space, both inside and out. Parking at the commons is complimentary as I believe they've done away with the need for validation or gates. Free WiFi. Pup friendly. Bike parking. Utensil station with paper plates and napkins, among other pizza goer essentials (very well organized). An arcade game - maybe they'll add some more in the future. Neighborhood must whether local are passing through, Ozzy's is for you! Pizzas are pretty big, so definitely good to enjoy with a friend. My third trip in was the best win, definitely be back soon.
I have been clamoring for quite a while to try Ozzy's Apizza! Had my eyes on Ozzy's when they were a pop-up north of Glendale, but the opportunity never came around. Well, they have a sparkling new store in North Hollywood now! Ordered the Swanson Pie and Mikey Rabbit. Unfortunately did not have the opportunity to actually eat here, so the pizza was not piping hot straight from the oven when I ate it. With that said, these pizzas were still fantastic! I expected thin and crispy from New Haven-style pizza, and that's exactly what I got. Both pizzas had great flavor bursting from the fresh toppings and the sauce. Insanely good pizza! Staff here were really friendly. Despite the fact that I was merely picking up my pizzas, they were very welcoming. They didn't even ask for my name, since I guess I was the only person who had placed a pickup for that particular time. In fact, since I had set the pizzas to be picked up at a certain time, they were literally still cooking it when I got there. Ensures as much freshness as possible! Ozzy's Apizza has some of the best pizza in L.A. for sure. I can't wait to come back again!
This was my first visit at Ozzy's, and I had quite an expectation since I had heard good things about this joint. The Positives: Friendly service, nice thin crust style pizza and good flavors, fun ambiance and cool names for their pizzas, and great artwork on the pizza boxes. The Negatives: For $22 + tax (almost $25) for an overly cooked, a tad-burnt pepperoni pizza (especially the charred crust), I probably won't be back again. There are plenty of places that are as good or better, and cheaper. Also, street parking can is limited, and some sketchy parts as I was walking to the restaurant.
Ozzy's is the spot to visit for tasty pizza and great service! The pepperoni is delicious and the honey--a perfect pairing! Loved the sweet and spicy combo. The staff was very kind and gave us a quick rundown for it being our first time. Although it was almost closing time, he encouraged us to order two pizzas, which we really appreciated. Great spot to hang out or order to go!
I've been going to this place since it started in Glendale. I dunno, for some reason I like it even better in the NoHo location! I think "best pizza in LA" is pushing it, but you really can't go wrong with a thin, crispy Ozzy's pie. I will say I love clam pizza but have never been a fan of the Ozzy's version. The basic cheese pie is the best one they make! If it's your first trip, I say start with that!
I stopped by on a Thursday night (they close at 9pm) and there were a few people waiting on their pizzas while watching the football game on the TV. I ordered the Pepperoni Pizza which was simple, thin, and so good! Our server was friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile by offering us the hot honey and their house made ranch. If you are a fan of dill, definitely get the ranch. The hot honey had the perfect balance of sweet and spicy. I can't wait to come back and try another pizza on their menu!
Was in the area and randomly wanted to see what in area had pizza & Ozzy's branding was too cool to not check out. On arrival you see how much seating was available for everyone and your eyes veer over to the mural on the left wall. The menus were available at the register, off first read everything sounds amazing to where I can't decide and force my friend narrow us down to 2 final options. Now with only having 2 options to pick from I asked the chef before us which would he pick. He stated that the Swanson would be hearty and like a meat lovers , while the Keitel would be light but filling & it was. Great spot will 1000% come back to try something else
I had been wanting to try Ozzy's for some time, and I was craving Pizza! I hadn't had much experience with New Haven style pizza so I was super curious what that even meant. Walking into the business, I love the vibe! The mural of the owner's dog on the wall is so epic. The business is named after him! The folks making the pizzas and working the register were so kind. They pretty much only have pizza on the menu and like a couple salads. I went with the S+M pie but added sausage. I'm a fan! I like the thin crunchy crust and the amount of sauce was perfect for me. I'm a sauce girlie! Props for Ozzy's for bringing delicious pizza to NoHo. I will definitely be back! When ordering takeout, expect to wait 15 mins or so, depending on how busy they are. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside! I can't believe I didn't take a picture of my actual pizza because I devoured it.
Ozzy's is a great pizza spot to enjoy with friends and family, especially if you're looking to try excellent topping combinations and more of an East Coast style pizza! There are so many yummy sounding options on the menu that it made it difficult to settle only on one, but we ultimately decided on trying the Swanson Pie which is a great choice if you like meat lovers kinds of pizzas. The service was quick as it only took about 10 minutes for our pizza to be served fresh and warm after placing our order! This pizza spot doesn't sell by the slice which is completely understandable because they are making the pizzas to order to ensure the best taste and quality. As for the space, there is plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors (picnic bench style seating for outdoor dining)! Definitely excited to visit again and try another one of their pizza creations! read more
They have parking in the parking garage which is nice. They do not do slices here. I had the pepperoni pizza and cheese pizza. Overall it was really good and full of flavor. There's plenty of seats and staff was great. read more

Ozzy's Apizza is a refreshing addition to the NoHo Commons. About 20 years ago, the Ozzy's space was part of an upscale grocery store (How's) that is now 24 Hour Fitness. The space was eventually turned into a chain pizza place that closed due to the pandemic, and then Ozzy's moved in. With only two locations (NoHo and New Haven, Connecticut), an adorable mascot, and fresh components for their pies, Ozzy's is a unique, higher-quality pizzeria than its predecessor. I've tried two selections: plain cheese and a Zupp, Italian sausage with red sauce. I added jalapenos to the latter, and it was a phenomenal pizza. Very thin bottom crust, crunchy edge crust, just enough cheese, ample sauce, nicely distributed toppings, amazing flavour. "Ozzy" is a black chihuahua with his own agent. His likeness is emblazoned on a giant wall mural in the restaurant, and on the very metal black takeaway pizza boxes. The human staff members are friendly and efficient. The pizzas are pricey, but worth the quality, quantity, and quirky fun of a special neighbourhood joint that proves to be a worthy anchor of the NoHo Commons. read more
This place is way different from what I'm used to. The char that they put on their pizza is an art. I ordered the Mega Powers Pizza which had ripe red tomatoes, chopped garlic, pecorino, mozzarella, basil and a kiss of olive oil. This is one of the most best looking and tasting pies I've had in LA. Very balanced and you can taste the quality as well. The staff is super kick ass and there's ample seating. read more

I've given a amazing review for Ozzys in Glendale and always enjoy our pizzas when we order them. But tonight I ordered two pies and when we got home and opened it there were very overcooked and could not enjoy them unfortunately. Chris I know you read these reviews and I hope you can take a look at our order to help with a refund. We come to your Glendale location many times, but since it was closed today we drive a little bit out to Noho to pick up our pizzas tonight. I tried calling the store 5 times with no luck of anyone answering. Our Pickup Order #20928-1 Thank you Chris and we look forward to having better experience next time. read more

Some bomb a** pizza!!! I've never had New Haven pizza before... it looked pretty simple. But man the crust is excellent. You have to eat it HOT. Absolutely delicious. My friends and I got a clams one, a classic tomato sauce one, a cheese one and a pepperoni. All super good. I even liked the clam one which i was skeptical about (I'm a west coast topping gal). Service was super friendly and great. The shop is on a corner and the outside tables are so comfy for the summer! I'll be back with other friends! read more

Amazing crunch to these slices! Staff was pretty nice. I did not know we had any Pizza joint since October of last year. Definitely coming back! They were also playing the game so I thought that was pretty cool if you wanna go and watch a game and drink some alcohol, they have beer on tab ! read more
Came here once before and back because it's memorable and crave... to get to experience the closest thing to New Haven style, this is the place for that and the pizza is pretty good. A bit on the pricey side, but I personally enjoy it. The staff is just chill, you can tell they're always busy and hardly get a break, so they took my order pretty quick. I might be no Pizza King(Dave Portnoy) but I would put Ozzy's above Angelino's. For LA Pizza it's definitely my #1 just putting overall at my 2nd place under Brooklyn City Pizza. I love the New Haven style. Thin crispy pizza just hits. Reminds me of Chinese pancakes. The sauce and the little char adds a extra layer of depth. Also the white pizza with the ricotta and sausage was also exquisite. I will be back for sure. read more
Pizza, salad, vibes - all phenomenal! The pizza has a complexity of flavors and a crunch incomparable to other places. I love the punk vibes and the employees who seem genuinely happy to be there. We got the Cesar salad which was great as well. They have Italian ice and ice cream sandwiches as well. I think the one thing that would make it even better is to have fresh ice cream sandwiches instead of the pre packaged ones. It was still really good! read more

Welcome to NoHo Ozzy! I know what you're thinking "another pizza joint in LA?", but Ozzy's Apizza is definitely worth checking-out if you want to try New Haven style pizza. Ozzy's Apizza has left Glendale and is now located in North Hollywood at the NoHo Commons by the intersection of Lankershim and Chandler. Parking was easy and free since you're able to park inside the parking structure. The overall vibe was low key and it was fun to hear emo music from 2005 playing over the speakers. From the moment I walked-in, Chef/founder Chris Wallace was really outgoing and welcomed me as if I was a regular. He was excited to hear it was my first time and assured me I would enjoy this style of Pizza. Since I came in during dinner rush on Election Night, he was upfront that it would be a 45 min wait but it was worth it! All pizzas are 14" which is about 6 medium slices. I ordered The Bada Bing ($27), this pie was THIN and packed with plenty of flavors. Of all the toppings, it was the house made red sauce that stood out. I do plan on coming back so I can try the "The Kevin" (lol) which apparently is a secret item menu of "The Liotta" with pepperoni. read more
We're usually not pizza people, but our friends wanted to try Ozzy's. We loved it! We appreciated the many pizza options, especially with different dietary needs. It's more fun to go in a group so you can try more. The You Knead This Bread was a hit- garlic cheese bread in the shape of a pie- and disappeared fast. There are four picnic-sized tables outside and a bunch of tables and counter seats inside. The parking structure across the street is free - at least when we went. read more

I'll just say it--Ozzy's is easily one of the best pizza spots I've ever been to. I heard about it through Dave Portnoy (naturally had to check it out after that), and wow--it fully lived up to the hype. Came in on a Tuesday night with my wife and uncle, and we were all instantly impressed. No crazy wait, which was a pleasant surprise considering how popular this place is getting. The space has a cool, modern vibe--trendy but not trying too hard. And the owner? Super friendly, made us feel like regulars even though it was our first time. We ordered the Pepperoni (red sauce) and the Meaty Rabbit (white sauce)--both were absolutely killer. The crust is light and crispy, that perfect New Haven-style bite that you don't come across often in LA. Each pie had its own personality, but both were packed with flavor and done just right. Can't wait to come back and try more. Ozzy's is the real deal. read more

I've been eagerly waiting for Ozzy's to open in the old Mod Pizza spot, and it was worth the anticipation! Nestled in NoHo Commons, right in the heart of North Hollywood's buzzing art district, this spot is part of one of L.A.'s first mixed-use, transit-friendly developments. Chef/Founder Chris Wallace started Ozzy's in his home kitchen back in 2021, with a dream of bringing the unique flavors of his hometown's Apizza to Los Angeles. In 2022, fellow New Havener Craig Taylor joined him, and the rest is history. Brought together by their shared love of metal, comedy, wrestling, and ah-beetz, they've made it their mission to bring their beloved thin, crispy, well-done pizza to the City of Angels. Oh, and Ozzy? He's not just the namesake--he's the cutest Chihuahua ever, and the best friend of Chef Chris! A world-renowned ah-beetz scholar (in his own right), Ozzy proudly represents this top-notch pizzeria. My father and I came to check it out and ordered: -The Liotta Pizza: "You're gonna like this guy, he's all right, he's a goodfella." A classic New Haven "plain" pie with house-made red sauce, olive oil, and parmesan. Simple but so flavorful! -Caesar Salad: Crisp romaine, shredded Parmesan, croutons, and a Caesar dressing. -You Knead This Bread: Garlic cheese bread served with a side of their delicious homemade red sauce. A must-try for bread lovers! -Beer/Wine: Featuring selections from Big Noise Beer Company and Pie Wines. Parking is a breeze here with a free garage right in front. I'll definitely be back! First timers to Ozzy's Apizza! A friend suggested Ozzy's as a great pizza place, we now agree! We ordered two pepperonis and the mega power pizza. My young niece love her several pieces of pepperoni and I loved the thin crusted cheesy mega! The salads were fresh but seemed small for the price. They placed the salads in plastic containers and then into paper pails. We recommend Ozzy's Apizza and will carry out w them again! read more

We tried this place on a whim and we were mightily impressed. This is legit New Haven style pizza down to that thin crust with that trademark char. Excellent! We wish we lived closer! Ozzy's please open another location down in the South Bay, will ya? :) read more
I ordered the pizza for delivery so i can say much about the service. The pizza was amazing however! It arrived and was still warm which is great. I'm also not sure what the place looks like. I'm going to try to go in though since the pizza was so good. I picked this place based off reviews and i'm pleased to say the least. read more

Took a chance and stopped by this place while traveling to SoCal and I'm so glad I did! The pizza was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot. Great crust, quality ingredients, and worth every bite. Would definitely come back! read more
Grabbed two boxes for takeout, and man, these thin slices hit just right..crispy, a little charred, that New York-style vibe. A tad salty, but I threw on some chopped onions and arugula, and boom...perfection! The spot itself? High ceilings, open kitchen, and a crew hustling but still welcoming. read more
