I've been coming here begrudgingly since big mammas and papa's closed. My buddy loves their thin crust pizza, personally I think uts garbage. The crust is often burnt Today I ordered spaghetti, which does not come with meatballs. On the appetizer menu they offer 4 meatballs for around $8, so when I called I said "add the meatballs". Apparently I'm an idiot because if you do not specifically say "appetizer" they give you two tiny meatballs for $6....vs the 4 for $8. Let me remind you this is NOT an option on their website and they don't check which you want when you call. So I drove back there and was essentially told I'm stupid for not knowing this. This was our first time here and we ordered delivery. We pass by it a lot and finally decided to try it. I always hate writing less than stellar reviews but this pizza baffled me. It was pretty dry, not very warm, the cheese didn't even seem like real cheese. We also ordered a salad with ranch and the dressing was, well, sweet...everything tasted sweet to us including the bread for the pizza, except the pizza sauce which was really sour. We even gave our neighbor a slice and they reported the same so it wasn't just us. The delivery guy was incredibly nice so kudos to him on that!! However, the food was really disappointing!! I don't think we'll be giving it another try, at least for a while. We really love supporting small businesses and decent pizza seems hard to find in the area so we were pulling for them! Ordered a large pizza with mushrooms, onions, and jalapenos. If you compare to the previous photo of the mushroom & onion pizza, you can clearly see they significantly skimped on the mushrooms. In the previous photo, the pizza was full of mushrooms. But this time there was like a 65% decrease in mushrooms. Pretty disappointing. My husband and I have been going weekly to muffin can stop us next door to this place until my husband decided to try it this week. He got the lunch special pastrami sandwich and said it was one of the best pastrami sandwiches he's had. Bread is good, quality of pastrami is great and fresh veggies. He liked it so much he got it again 2 days later and this time we ordered a medium pizza for the kids and a chicken Philly for me. Kids loved the pizza and chicken Philly was delicious as well! I have seen Ove Pizzeria a number of times when we gone to nearby establishments. I finally tried I've Pizzeria & I was not disappointed! First off, the individual slices of pizza are HUGE! I had a slice of the supreme & my son had a slice of the cheese pizza. I'm glad the staff was so friendly & helpful, because he told me the slices are huge otherwise we both would have ordered two slices each. The flavor of the pizza was delicious! We also ordered a side of onion rings & curly fries. You sure do get a lot of food & everything is delicious! I really wish we had a pizza place like Ove Pizzeria up here in Santa Clarita. We are in the valley all the time, Ove Pizzeria will definitely be my go to spot when I want pizza. The pizzeria had a nice feel to it, which kind of reminded me of the pizzerias back in New York. The vibe is quick and friendly, the patio is relaxed and comfortable, and the food is yummy, inexpensive, and generous. Their lunch special with a big slice of pizza with one topping, salad, and drink is a GIANT portion and really fresh and tasty. I'm not usually one for lunch specials, but this one is the real deal. The salad was fresh, well prepared, and especially good. The slice was delicious, with generous cheese and a nice thin crust. The meatball sandwich is also quite tasty. First time visiting. The pizza was made to order and was brought out quickly. The veggies on the vegetarian pizza seemed fairly fresh. The cheese had a good amount of pull and stretch to it. They were not heavy on oil (like other places), but seasoning and flavor were minimum as well. Went on a Saturday afternoon and it was empty with most people calling in orders. Clean casual place. There are a handful of tables inside and a few outside with an awning covering you from the sun. A few spots in the parking lot are reserved for their customers. Ambiance here today is quiet, charming & very relaxing. It's not your typical local pizza house. The pizza boxes are stacked neatly behind the counter in the super- clean kitchen area. I've gone back-and-forth about writing a review for Ove Pizzeria. There are a couple of factors that have been complicating this process for me, and I'm going to break down this review by those factors. They don't all add up in my head, so hopefully if I lay them out it will help make sense. Frequency/Convenience: We eat pizza a lot (I like pizza). We get pizza from Ove more than any other place in the area. It isn't because of overall quality (the pizza is very good, not great, and there is certainly better pizza in the area). So why do we continue to return here frequently? Because of convenience and price. First of all, it's very close to our house. Second, it's super convenient. You order on the Yelp app, you show up 10-15 minutes later, you walk away with pizza. It's great. And for a last minute dinner? It can't be beat. Quality: As I've mentioned, I like pizza. I also eat a lot of pizza. I have tried every "local" pizza place within five miles of my apartment. Ove is very good. It just isn't great. There is certainly better pizza in the area, but Ove is nothing to complain about. Price: The price can't be beat. It really can't. When we factor convenience and price together, Ove really can't be beat. So, in summary, I hope that all makes sense. I really like the pizza at Ove. I love the convenience and price of Ove. That adds up to 4 stars in my mind? I don't know. I think it makes sense. read more

REPLY TO CHRISTINA: since it won't let me reply to her message on my review, the employees assumed we wanted slices of pizza, they never even gave us a chance to speak when we walked in, they did not even greet us and no we did not want slices for a family of six after driving for six hours we wanted whole pies, what you employees should do is greed customers with a "hello" when customers first walk in instead of a "we don't serve slices" which is how we were greeted. Like I said, I should have listened to the previous reviews and I advise whoever is reading this to do the same, if there is something in LA is good restaurants, why go to one with mediocre service. read more

I placed an order for pick-up online yesterday from Ove. It was my first time trying their food. First off, they are extremely friendly. I only ordered a sandwich (will try the pizza next time). The Neapolitan Prosciutto was very good, and I have to say they were generous with the fries. The fries were on par with a good fish & chip shop. Parking is always tight at the shops on the curve, especially at lunch time, but that's true all along Ventura. Won't be my last order. read more

Wings tasted great! I must admit, I ate my food a bit cold because I had it delivered which I can't blame the restaurant for. Because of that it wasn't absolutely amazing but I will say that ordering with them was super easy and honestly it was pretty cheap compared to other places so I was happy with that!
