Really solid pizza spot. I went with the Chicago style crust, so it was a little thicker, which is exactly what I was in the mood for. The pizza itself was great. Nothing that completely blew me away, but it's definitely a step above the big chain pizza places and I'd take this over those any day. They have a ton of different styles and options on the menu too, so I'm definitely interested in trying a few more next time. I had it delivered, so I can't really comment on the restaurant itself, but everything showed up on time and was still warm when it got here. It wasn't piping hot, but the driver only took about 10 minutes, so I can't really complain. Overall, a solid spot that I'll definitely order from again. read more

After striking out with a few other places, I gave Mr. Pizza a try and have now returned multiple times for their delicious pizza! They've always been very friendly and accommodating with requests, and a fair price for good, hot food. Not their fault, but the parking lot can be a disaster sometimes, so trying to pick up is a toss-up, but either way, my absolute go to for pizza these days. read more

Got my order yesterday through Uber Eats. The pizza was decent but very oily. My chocolate cake was missing, and the churro was burnt on the outside and raw on the inside, I didn't realize it until after a couple of bites. I called the store, and the employee I spoke with seemed completely uninterested. There was no apology and no attempt to help, just a suggestion to contact Uber Eats. Missing items are annoying , but serving undercooked food and showing no concern when a customer calls about it is unacceptable. I'd avoid this place read more

Stopped first time to pick up spaghetti and a slice of pizza. Service was great and they gave me a complimentary soda. When I got home I found out they gave me 4 slices of pizza instead and I was surprised with the generosity :). Spaghetti had plenty of meatballs and extra cheese. I also had 4 pieces of garlic bread instead of just one. The only thing that I didn't like was the parking. Always packed. Why is it always the best restaurants with the worst parking? If you blink you'll miss this place on the corner of Kester and Van Nuys blvd: don't blink! This place is incredible. Small, cozy and welcoming. I work in area and drove by this place numerous times; I decided to stop and try it. Boy am I glad I did! I had a slice of the Hawaiian pizza and wow! A New York slice full of flavor that dances in your mouth. II asked to see a slice, in case I wanted 2 but one is more than enough. Don't get me wrong, I'm preparing myself for 2. They cut this huge slice into smaller slices, making it easier to eat. The crust was thin and crispy on the bottom and soft and light on the top. The sauce, cheese and the other ingredients blended perfectly together. One not overpowering the rest. This is my new stop and looking forward to trying the BBQ chicken pizza next. I had a fantastic experience with Mr. Pizza! I was hosting a big party with lots of dietary restrictions. Mr. Pizza delivered in a big way! The gluten free vegan options are incredible, everyone loved their pizzas. The gluten free crust was perfectly crispy and the vegan cheese was bomb. Eating cold leftovers the next day was also a 10/10. The service was fantastic. I got a call verifying my order same day and they arrived right on time. This is our third time ordering from MrPizza and they never disappoint! Their pizza is always tasty and delicious -- seriously one of our favorites. We also get their buffalo wings every time and they're consistently so good, and their ranch tastes homemade in the best way. This time I tried the Pasta Alfredo. It was my first time ordering from Mr. pizza. I ordered a white pizza with chicken, garlic, mushrooms and basil. It was probably one of the best pizzas I've had here in the valley. I also got a plain cheese pizza for the kids and even my daughter made a comment saying that the pizza was really good. The crust alone wasn't that good but the rest of the pizza made up for it. Before going, be aware that the parking really sucks so it might be best to get it delivered. read more

I had the most amazing pasta from Mr. Pizza in Van Nuys. I'm in the middle of a move and, without any kitchen items, I needed something filling and savory to fuel my day. I saw some good reviews on Yelp and decided to give it a try, especially since it was local. It's funny because I used to live less than a block away from this location but never thought to try it. The parking can be a bit chaotic and always seems full, but the food made up for it. I ordered the lasagna, and it was incredible. The portion was very generous - I had some for breakfast, lunch, and even a bit for dinner. The lasagna was delicious, and the garlic cheese toast they give you on the side was a perfect addition. I could go back just for the cheese toast alone! The staff was prompt and friendly. I didn't eat in because I didn't want to sit there and eat the whole thing, especially since I had to keep moving. I had a couple of bites in my car, but next time I would likely order something to enjoy in their very small, clean, and cozy dining area. I can't wait to return and try some of the pizza recommendations. Mr. Pizza is definitely a hidden gem that I regret not discovering sooner. read more

From pizza to pasta, to calzones (it's an Italian dish, not the Spanish word, lol) and even CHURROS--Mr. Pizza always hits the spot. Although it is located in a small plaza, where parking is limited, I read they offer to take your order to your car if you give them a call once you're outside. They also deliver, personally, and through GrubHub. I've been ordering the cauliflower pizza lately because I am in love with it! So, we were here at first not for the food but because my teen son's death metal band, Institutionalized, was playing a show with the very popular super cool local metal band Diabology. But, hey, if you're there might as well grab something before you leave, right? So We got a cheese pie, which was excellent. Also tried a slice of their white pie, which was garlicky goodness. What really sold us, though, was the Sicilian pie we got. As born and bred New Yorker transplants who have been here a long time, we have never found a fantastic Sicilian. Good, sure, but never great. The pies are never thick enough as far as the breading. Here it was as close as we've ever got. And like the other pizza, the taste was excellent. Very disappointing and I will not be coming back for good this time. If I could give separate stars for customer service, I would give them 5 stars but this was unacceptable on the cook's part. Having more olives vs mushrooms battle? 4 bucks extra for vegan cheese? Underwhelming pizza itself? I haven't been this bummed about the pre excited to try pizza and pasta place, only to leave thinking at least it was clean to eat there vibe. My friend also had the garlic knots stuffed with cheese, and found them fair. He added small pasta with marinara and ate some, the rest to go. His words including the pizza fair. Mine based on 2.5 slices of pizza and 50% of vegan bread. Fair. On the plus note, did I mention they were very nice?

Ordered pizza, wings and a salad. Food was good and made fresh to order. I did not order ahead of…read moretime and the food still came out pretty fast. Friendly and attentive staff, I was greeted as soon as I walked in. Minimal seating if dining inside (3 tables with 2 chairs per table) they also have a TV while you dine in or wait for your take out. The place was super clean and they have great prices too!
