Salina rocks and pizza is great I really am happy with my experience and Patrick was dope too

When I first heard Prince Street Pizza was expanding west and opening in Studio City, I nearly combusted from excitement. But would it live up to the memory? After all, some things lose their soul when they leave home. I am happy to confirm, this is not one of them. The remarkable thing is not that the pizza is good. It's that it feels faithful. Somehow they've captured the character of the original, right down to the chew of the crust and the balance of flavors that made people fall in love with it in the first place. They must be sourcing their water from New York, because they absolutely nailed it. Yes, it's expensive. Then again, so is nearly everything in Los Angeles, especially in Studio City. The difference here is that the price fades from memory the moment the pizza hits the table. This is one of those rare places where the product justifies the cost. If it's your first visit, begin with the Prince Perfection. Then make your way to the Spicy Pepperoni Slice, a piece of pizza that borders on indulgence and somehow still leaves you wanting another bite. Good pizza fills you up. Great pizza stays with you. Prince Street Pizza belongs firmly in the latter category. read more

I live for good pizza, and L.A. is experiencing a bit of a renaissance of spots like this that offer legit NYC-style slices and Sicilian square slices too. So naturally, when we learned of the existence of Prince Street Pizza, it was "added to the list." We tried a basic NY slice, a Green Machine NYC slice, a Sicilian Prince Street Perfection, and Sunset Square slices. They were all good with decent flavor. We think the dough was slightly undercooked on the Sicilian slices, but generally thought these were worthwhile slices to have, miles above chain or basic Italian restaurant pizza...but not our favorite from similar offerings at other newer local spots. If we lived nearby (We don't; we drove from Santa Clarita to check it out), it would definitely be a part of our regular rotation. The staff is awesome...really thoughtful and nice...got every detail of what we asked for right. Made a point of offering me my free cookie for signing up for the rewards program without me having to ask. Love the decor as well. You definitely get the local, small NYC slice vibe in the shop. I don't really leave negative yelp reviews anywhere because I like to have my posts to be uplifting and supportive but this guy, man o man. I don't think he really liked his job very much. Long story short, every 100 points you receive $10 off. I had 94 points on my app and I'm buying 6 pieces of pizza. I asked can I split the transaction, therefore, buying 3 for now and 3 after, so the 6 points can register and I can receive $10 off from the next 3 pieces. This guy said "oh, can you just do that next time?" I said "why would I do that if I can do it now?" So he says "let me void this transaction again", I'm thinking to myself, was it that much of a task to do and also he seemed annoyed that I was trying to avail my points in the great city of Studio City. I feel like the way I grew up, we work hard and if we can make the customer happy, oh I definitely will do it but this feeling I had when coming here had just an ick so I had to let you know. I really thought I would like this since I like deep dish style pizza, but I just didn't like it too much. I feel it was mid and overhyped. Pizza was super thick and couldn't really eat it, was a bit too doughy and not crispy to compensate for the dough thickness. The taste was fine. It was an okay pizza but not worth the price. We decided to order for our office lunch but the boss almost had a heart attack thinking we were robbed, lol. We spent $140 for 2 xlg pizzas and 3 sodas. For us displaced East Coasters, LA pizza used to be compared to the water and flour from NYC. It did not equal it in anyway. But LA is in a bit of a pizza renaissance with east coast transplants (like Prince Street and Roberta's) and places of its own that are some of the best in the country. This is a good place to get a quick slice... not a cheap slice, but a decent slice. The place is casual, with ample seating inside (ample for a smallish space) and a few two tops outside. The staff is very friendly. Back in the day when you would go into a slice shop in NYC, you'd tell them which slice you wanted as you were looking in the case. And of course, you always asked for the biggest, or perhaps most well done, if that was your thing. What I have always found funny was how sometimes they would give you the smallest slice. If they give you the biggest, the next person to see the pie thinks they are getting the biggest, and so on... that makes sense. Anyway... We had 4 slices... An Original Prince Not the biggest slice. Ah ha!!! Should have it more well done and should have picked my own. Pro tip: Pick your own slice! Decent but nothing special. Two Green Machines We each had a slice of this. I liked this one. Kind of a fancier white slice. The GF did not care for it. Houston Jalapeno When you're with a girl from Houston, you kind of HAVE to get this one. It was her slice, and ironically, she didn't love it and thought the jalapenos were maybe pickled and too sweet, and that the pepperoni wasn't salty enough. I try to avoid salt, but I agree... the pepperoni needed way more kick... not more salt but more spice for sure. The sauce is really sweet, which some folks don't love, but I liked it. It's a good balance to the slices with regular tomato sauce. The Caesar salad was simple and fine and enough for two. With all the great pizza in LA now I'm not sure if we'll be back, especially with Roberta's so close by... and so many others to try but we'll see. The Naughty Pie -- 8.5/10. A wonderful culmination of sweet, savory, and flavorful spice. If I could improve one thing, it would be just a bit more of a crunch on that bread and crust. I like to put mine in the oven or air fryer to get my desired texture. I also opt to get an extra side of Not Ranch and Vodka sauce, so delish. I've been to Prince St. Pizza a few times at different locations, and the pizza is pretty underwhelming, or as the kids say these days, "mid." The slices look delicious in the display case, but I feel a bit let down after eating them. I ordered a few slices for my son and the Spicy Spring for myself, and honestly, the Spicy Spring wasn't spicy at all. While the pepperoni cups look cool, they taste basic and lack flavor. I think I'll avoid Prince St. locations in the future; the pizza is a miss for me personally. However, I came here mainly for the Disney+ and Prince St. Pizza collaboration celebrating the 35th anniversary of *Home Alone*. It's a classic Christmas movie from my childhood, and I'm passing it on to my son! Prince St. Pizza was transformed into Little Nero's Pizza, which was a lot of fun. I went during the week to avoid crowds, and it was quick. Of course, I took lots of photos, so it wasn't *that* fast! The staff was mostly friendly. My favorite was a blonde, chunky guy with glasses; he had a great vibe and was very helpful. He even complimented my style, ironically since I dress like an old dad, but I'll take it! I loved the replica of the delivery car from *Home Alone*, including the sign on the door that says, "Little Nero Delivers in 20 Minutes or You Don't Pay." The decor was well-done and worth the trip to Studio City. I'll give Prince St. Pizza credit for their cool partnerships and collaborations. I won't rush back for their pizza, but I will definitely come to future pop-ups like this. Thank you, Prince St. and Disney+, for bringing joy to the holiday season for big kids like me! Amazing customer service! Quick And easy! I was able to get an empty pizza box which i will use as a gift box for someone who Will be home alone for the holidays (their choice). I was told they are extending the pop up until dec. 22nd i hope its tru since after today's event to see the homealone ginger bread house i'd love to take my family to have pizza here too and make a day of it. The nostalgia of home alone and the 90s bring back alot of childhood memories since this was one of my sisters and I movies to watch. The home alone car parked outside even got a real ticket. Who remembers Little Nero's Pizza from Home Alone? The Kevin McAllister special...an Extra large CHEESE Pizza. For their 35th anniversary, Prince St Pizza in Studio city created a pop up at their store and fully decorated their restaurant into a little Nero themed Pizza house. They also have the original little Nero's delivery car from the movie parked right in front of their store. Super cute. But this pop up only lasts until December 17 at the Studio city location only. So if you want to catch it better run and not walk. No idea if they'll have it again next Christmas. Besides the obvious fun themed deco, the pizza was also very good. Of course had to order the Kevin Mccallister special...cheese pizzas. Of course you can't go wrong with a classic cheese pizza. We additionally picked up a few other which were just as good-Margarita pizza, the sunset Square, and the Prince perfection pizza. Overall pizza was good. Came in for a late night slice and my opinion is still the same. Prince St has really solid pizza. It's not the best in the city, but I'll never turn down a slice from here. A small detail that would take them to the next level is their consistency. Almost all my favorites here have pepperoni on them, so I've noticed the amount and how well they're cooked varies between visits. Sometimes the pepperonis are perfectly crisp and, other times, like tonight, not so much. A slice that I was recently turned onto is the Oakey Smokey. It's simple, perfectly executed, but also a bit of a mystery to me. None of the toppings make me think this slice would pack SO much flavor, but it absolutely does! Our family LOVES Prince Pizza. It's the best pizza that we have eaten in Los Angeles. The staff is amazing and really go out of their way to make the restaurant a great place. But, the pizza mmmmmm. I came here for the Home Alone pop-up they recently had and the decorations really wowed me. The details like the ad for the polka lessons and snow shoveling was such a great touch. I was really impressed with all the work that must've went into making it feel like I was at a pizza shop inside the home-alone movie. I hope more restaurants are inspired to do collabs like this or even get creative with the decorating possibilities. The pizza was also great. Although it was packed the wait time wasn't as bad as what I expected. Shout out to the staff who worked during this. I am completely obsessed with Prince Street Pizza. My husband and I were coming every single Friday night for months because we couldn't get enough. The vegan pizza is ridiculously good. The crust is the best part. It's as if you're eating pizza served on the most toasty, airy, garlic bread. And the sauce & vegan cheese is out of this world too. I love when a non vegan spot has solid vegan options! The restaurant itself is cozy, not a ton of seating inside or out but we've never had trouble finding a spot to eat. It takes about 10-15 minutes for them to heat up each slice, but the wait is worth it! They're also open late which is a nice bonus. read more

It sure was busy yesterday evening as I walked in, there was a line and people eating in. Second time visiting, and I can honestly say that it's quite small, but also noticed they have a table outside too. Nothing wrong, it's been a year since I last visited. For parking, there is street metered or pay at chase parking lot. If you are in a rush, call ahead and place your order, as this will cut your wait time. Unlike me, walking in, had no choice but to buy "by the slice" and still had to wait for my order to be boxed and all. I ordered x 3 meat lovers, 1 Mercer margherita and 1 naughty pie. So far meat lovers and margherita meet expectations, nice crispy and fluffy crust, Sicilian-style squares. I have yet to try the naughty pie, but I'm almost positive it will not disappoint. Ambiance there seems to be on the busy side, since it is located close to Ventura blvd and a lot goes on in that area. Prince Street is most certainly one that leads to flavor town. A cozy little spot nestled in Studio City, the menu is filled with possibilities, and an empty stomach is but a canvas, ripe for the taking. While square pizza isn't necessarily my favorite, that might need to change soon, with dough and ingredients that this place has. We sampled the prince perfection, spicy vodka, and sunset square, and all three had excellent crisp, and a solid sauce with their toppings.
