I googled this place for snow ice cups but when I reached there I learnt that they have discontinued it. Anyways so I decided to have eggnette instead and picked up banana strawberries one. Omg first of all the presentation of my desert was pleasant and then the whole experience was delightful. I loved the texture of the icecream scoop used. Quite generous amount of strawberry slices & banana slices added the fruity touch. Bubble waffle was super soft. Anytime you have sweet tooth cravings then this is the spot to come.

We got it for delivery, but even though we picked it up, it was still fresh. The taro tea was good, but I think they use the powder version, and it wasn't mixed completely. My woman likes the Panda milk tea, plus it came in an awesome cup. My coconut smoothie was definitely good. It was a pretty warm day, so the drinks were definitely refreshing.

As soon as I opened the door there was an awful smell, but there was a soccer team there so thought it was just them ‍. I was greeted by a nice lady, but she seemed irritated with me and my questions. I had never been and my daughter wanted a sweet tea. Ordered a tall Strawberry Mango and a Peach Oolong tea. The strawberry mango. More expensive yet smaller. It was tasty but very little boba. The Peach Oolong tea was not very good at all. I asked if it was sweet and, not in the least. There was more boba than the strawberry mango but for the price I could go to Sharetea and get a bigger cup and more boba.

Gotta order your boba and snacks inside Ninja Ramen. Boba drinks, waffle + ice cream, and hot snacks available.

Interesting process during COVID. So if you want boba and snacks from Royal Tea, you have to go into the Ninja Ramen and order at the table and wait until your order is brought out. Next time I will definitely order online and then pick up to save some time! The bubble waffle will take an extra 10 minutes but it is SO worth it. We devoured that thing quicker than it took to probably make it, lol. I ordered a matcha milk tea with less sugar and it was PERFECT. Since matcha is kind of a bitter tea, sometimes it's hard to get the balance of flavor just right, and they did it. My girls had fun ordering mango slush and mango yakult with boba! Both enjoyed their drinks, they like mango flavor. We really wished we could have had snow but apparently they stopped making that due to covid. We ordered the salt and pepper chicken (light on the salt!), man it's so good, with the dipping sauce that they give you. It's like an orangish, thousand's island flavor??? I don't know what flavor it was but it complimented the chicken very well.

I stopped by during lunch for Jasmin green tea with tapioca and I was honestly surprised at how lacking the milk tea was. I knew that it was a problem with the creamer and honestly was a bit upset about it. Unfortunately the tea store is under construction so you actually have to order through ninja ramen and the people there don't know much about the milk tea (they're just taking the order for them). In any case, I went back for dinner because I love boba! This time, I specifically inquired about what was being used for the milk teas. It turns out they weren't using half and half in the milk teas... I asked for them to use half and half this time and they charged me extra for the switch up. But it tastes infinitely better than whatever trash ass creamer they using. Overall, NOT WORTH 5 dollars just to get the milky thick consistency. It is the only boba spot in proximity so I guess if you really need to satisfy your cravings like I did then go for it.

If you eat next door at Ninja Ramen, then show your receipt here and you'll get a discount. Both are okay places: Nothing stands out, but they don't suck either. I personally will stick with Sharetea. I had the unsweetened black milk tea with tapioca. The drink itself wasn't all that great because I couldn't taste much tea flavor. The tapioca was unpleasant because it had zero chewiness factor, and was not sweet enough. The menu makes no indication of adjusting the sweetness level or adjusting the ice level. But they can do it for you. However, the egg waffle was good. Expect to wait several minutes for it though. The interior is fun and brightly lit though. It seems like a great place to stay and play board games with a group of friends. Parking is tight, but there's more parking if you're willing to walk further.

Super mixed feelings about this place. It's probably the best boba place in Arlington to do work. But the boba here is awful. It's gooey and clumpy, and the tea flavors aren't great either. On my last visit, my friend and I both had the Rose Thai Tea. The drink only tasted like rose and no Thai. A few hours later, we both felt sick. Not sure if this is coincidence or our bodies didn't like consuming that much rose. On the other hand, the small bites and desserts are pretty good. I have ordered the Salt & Pepper Chicken to-go many times. The snow ice is pretty good, but also a little expensive. If the drinks here improved, this place would be a home run.

This spot is pretty sweet with its modern and fresh interior to the many drink and food options. Yes, it's decked out like the hundreds of other boba shops around Arlington (I'm not complaining tho!) but I do like the price point and variety of special drinks they have. Food pricing is kinda steep though tbh. The patbingsu (Korean shaved ice topped with an ice cream scoop) caught my friend's eyes and we opted for the matcha green tea flavor with matcha scoop. I personally like it since it isn't so sweet, and had a good texture comparable to typical bingsu shops. Great place to fulfill those cravings! There are many other flavors to choose from too, like mango or cheesecake. Some appetizers we tried were the Japanese furikake fries and coconut shrimp. Both were great but I absolutely LOVED those crispy shoelace thin furikake fries so much. They were topped with sriracha mayo sprinkled with sesame seeds, nori, seaweed, salt and pepper (ingredients of the typical "furikake" mix) and were easily shareable. Everything else, price-wise, doesn't seem worth it. Just get your meal cravings next door to Ninja Ramen and then grab dessert here. The drinks here are great in sugar proportions! I got the oolong milk tea with egg pudding and it hit the spot. The bf got the peach yakult (yogurt brand from Korea... the same one from TATBILB hehe) and it tasted great! I dig the amount of sweetness from the syrup and the slight tartness of the yogurt flavor. It's so delish on a hot day! I ain't mad at all the boba shops poppin' up, and Royal Tea is a fun place to chill at and catch up with friends and fam. They even have board games too, like the other places. Comfy couches, festive decorations, and photography-worthy corners, what's not to like?

Atmosphere: We frequent this place pretty often and it's always generally packed with fun, loud, happy people having an awesome time. When you walk in they have front bar style seating along the entry windows, sofa seating, booths, and regular height tables. They offer a variety of board/card games to entice customers to stay a while and enjoy their drinks in-house. Super trendy, but can be pretty loud. This isn't a good cafe to study or read. This is a cafe to play Jenga and accuse your friends of cheating during a round of headbandz or ganging up on a sibling at a round of UNO. Service: Walk in, order, pay, they give you a ticket number, they call out number, you pick up. Really easy; my only complaint is that there sometimes feels like not enough room to wait in line after you order your beverage. If you dont plan on staying a while and the seats are taken.. theres no real "waiting for order" area. Just stand there and embrace the awkwardness. Quality: Pretty hard to mess up tea, so it's really been really wonderful quality drinks everytime we come. I wish they offered small boba, but their selection is prime without it! I highly recommend their matcha green tea or rose tea with boba. Thai tea with boba is a classic favorite! read more

My all time favorite boba place by far, it just sucks that they only have 1 location in Arlington so I really only go when I'm in school bc I can't drive over there everyday. I always get the Jasmine Green Milk Tea and it is SO GOOD. Instead of sugar I get it subbed with honey and it always tastes just right! The salt & pepper chicken is also a really good snack to get there. The employees are always super friendly too and the atmosphere of Royal Tea is really nice, a great hangout/study place! As much as I am there during each semester though I just wish the employees could remember what I order each time since I'm quite literally there almost 4 times a week LOL read more

New spot that just opened up in Arlington. They have a vast selection, teas, desserts, everything! We decided to go with the Thai green tea and winter melon milk tea. Wintermelon was a miss- it tasted bland and very much like tea water. Wasn't much wintermelon flavor. The Thai green tea was good! Just the right amount of sweetness, however this place has a very bitter/tea-y taste to it! If you like that, then by all means go here. Boba was a little hard and small. It's less creamy and more liquidy as well. It wasn't my liking for the price however, so there's that. read more

Not a bad stop. I had a cookies and cream drink and hubby had a smoothie. Not much to say about it, so this will be a super short review. The place was clean and quiet. It wasn't anything remarkable. Employees were not rude or anything, but not remarkably helpful either. It was overall, a mediocre experience. read more

I've gone here on many occasions and the first couple of times, I was not a big fan. Recently however, I tried their summer drink: Rosy Daze with boba and IT IS THE BEST BOBA DRINK I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!! It's rose and lychee tea with lychee and rose bits in it!! So so so so soooo good!! I would definitely give this place a 5 but this is probably the only drink I would ever get here so when summer ends, I won't be returning as often. Come get rosy daze before the drink is gone!! read more

My first impression of Royal Tea was not a very good one when they first opened (3/5 stars), but I told myself I wouldn't publish a review until I've at least given them a second chance and now is the time. I asked the cashier dude back then what he recommended and he said "Honestly, all the drinks here are good but you can never go wrong with the Matcha Royal Milk Tea." So that's what I ordered. And it was soooooooo bland, like a boba drink that's been left out throughout the day and all its ice has been dissolved. Reasons why I have trust issues (cries). I typically drink 1/3 to half my boba cup and save the rest for when I'm craving it late at night when all boba shops go to sleep, but I didn't even want to save this particular cup. I even gave away the punch card to a friend who said he liked it here because I figured I would either never come back again or barely come back. Today, I was in the middle of writing my 4/5 star review until 2 hours later when my tummy started hurting. I got the black milk tea without boba. It was definitely not as flavored as other boba shops that I've tried, however a lot more improved taste than my first visit. I know my stomach is sensitive to how meals and drinks are cleanly prepped. I didn't eat anything today other than the same soup which didn't affect me at all yesterday so it had to have been this boba drink which was a newly introduced intake from my usual diet. From working at 2 hospitals, we look at it as suspicious and a likely cause of our stomach upset, unfortunately. I don't believe I will be returning. If you give this place a try and it works out for you, enjoy it. I'll be passing on this place unless a friend urges me to go. But I'll be chillin though. No orders :( Atmosphere is nice for lounging. Restroom is next door at Ninja Ramen because they're affiliated with each other. read more

If you wanna get your boba fix try this place! Place is cute and has games if you wanna play. Have tried the royal milk, Thai green tea, and oreo milk. The Thai green tea is my favorite! Staff is very nice and if you're not in the mood to drink they have other desserts like shaved ice and egg puffs. Free parking on plaza. read more

They had a special for 2. 2 drinks with a mountain of shaved ice or waffle. Be warned it is a lot to have after a meal. It's a meal on its own. The SHAVED ICE had More flavor that I expected. Some places I went to tasted literally like a drink that they freeze and then shave. The shaved ice here was like they shaved a chunk of ice cream. Each bite was a soft cloud of sweetness. The WAFFLE was a crisp yet bouncy texture. For the Vietnamese readers it tasted like banh teo In terms of flavor yet a hint of chewiness like banh bo yet crisp like a waffle. Sorry that I can't explain the waffle in ways everyone can understand. It's not overly sweet and worth a try! Saw a yakult drink and thought since I love yakult I would get it. (Yakult is a flavored probiotic shot) When I asked about it the mixers said it's basically a watered down yakult. It was exactly that. They were not wrong but it really feel like they grabbed a bottle of yakult and added water in a cup of boba. Can't blame the mixers but can't help but feel like I paid for someone to water down a drink. read more

I've been here a handful of times and I've only had a couple drinks from there menu, but all in all, a pretty good place! The consistency of their boba is a little off as sometimes I can taste a difference in my cup -- some tapioca pearls are chewier/softer than others. My favorite drink here is the Mango Yakult with boba! Perfect amount of tart and syrup in a cup. I think the regular size is more flavorful as the large is probably just doubled up so it tastes a little watered down. The ambience here is very lively and I always see it crowded. The service is sweet, however, some of them haven't tried all the drinks so they couldn't recommend me drinks. :( Reasonable prices, good service, open seating, and it's connected to a restaurant! This place was really good I loved the Oreo eggette waffle I ordered, also love the fact that I didn't have to drive out to Dallas for something like this. It's time this side of town catch up to the unique dessert craze going around. The shaved ice looked amazing but after my one cone I had no room left in my tummy, but I'll be back to try more. The atmosphere was nice and bright. Very comfortable feel to it and plenty of seating and even couches to relax and hangout for a bit with friend/family. Nice alternative to a coffee shop :) read more

Ninja was smart for opening a Ramen restaurant and now a Boba shop which is directly next door to each other! I'd like to note that the decor was really nice and very casual. They have games to play and plenty of seating so a great place to go to especially during summer break. With Ninja Ramen being literally next door, there's connecting doors that will lead you straight into Royal Tea (how convenient) it's the best of both worlds; ramen and boba. So this means that you can eat at Ninja Ramen and get desserts/drinks next door at Royal Tea without ever leaving the building or having to drive. As for the taste, I ordered a regular Milk Tea to test the waters and I do have to say it was a little watery which i was a bit disappointed but it still had a decent amount of flavor. Another thing is that i wish that they had more variety on what milk tea flavor you could get. They are still having their Soft Opening so they are still working with flavors and trying to perfect their menu. So, I cannot give a full review of their Milk Tea until official grand opening. On the other hand my friend ordered a Green Thai Tea and it tasted like any Green Thai Tea (referring to 1102 Bubble Tea & Bites) but it was a bit powdery. As for the price, it is very decent in comparison to other boba shops in the Arlington and Grand Prairie area. Your drink can range from $3-5 depending on how many toppings or add-ons you choose. Overall this place has a lot of potential but definitely has some more work to do before Grand Opening. But definitely give this place a try to see what they're about! read more

The drinks themselves are pretty good, however, they are not organized at all when it comes to busy hours. I came with 2 friends, and when they called my number (numbers that didn't go in order because order 6 came out before order 4) I only got one of the two drinks I had ordered, and when I told them, they had no idea what I was talking about. They did however make the second drink quickly after, but my friend who ordered right after me, didn't get his drink until he went up to the counter because we had waited almost 40 minutes. Very disorganized, but their polite staff at least promptly corrected their errors. read more

Been here at their soft opening, even though still busy here. The drink menu is pretty shine , but the thing surprise me is they do also have snow ice cream, its cool to enjoy that in this hot season. Beside the drink they do provide some entertainment game for group to play, its definitely nice place to have fun. All in all its a new spot for me to hang out in tea place... will be back soon read more

Menu is quite large! They offer drinks, ice cream, and boba! Very similar to king fu tea but that have some very unique specialty drinks. I went safe with a Thai tea without boba and it was not that bad. We also got the unicorn drink...that came in a lightbulb! That was really different and pretty cool. It tasted like some kind of sonic drink with nerds in it. I would like to return and try more drinks from the menu. read more

Very very good green Thai tea. It's perfectly blended together and the atmosphere is very nice. Very clean environment with a lot of board games from Sorry, heads up, chess, connect four, and CATAN! 10/10 would recommend trying this place out Also very affordable prices around $3.75~$3.95 for large drinks read more

I've had this place bookmarked for a while now and have finally had the chance to visit! I was excited to try their eggettes since I saw a lot of cute pictures. I chose the matcha eggette, which had matcha ice cream and mochi. The ice cream was the perfect matcha flavor! My new go to spot for shaved ice and boba tea. We went to have dinner at ninja ramen then we saw the boba place was soft opening. So we decided to go afterward. First impression, this is the first boba place that has enough space for a big family(10 people) like mine. We ordered avocado& taro smoothies and jasmine green tea- which were so good! The nicest thing is that we can order appetizer at ninja ramen which is right next door. Lastly, they're shaved ice is DELICIOUS- we had strawberry and mango shaved ice. Only been here a couple times but I have enjoyed their boba every time. One thing that makes this place stick out is that they're open later than the other boba shops, which worked out perfectly for my friends and I craving a late night boba. They have a lot of choices for toppings. Their menu isn't as big as the other places that have sprung up, but they serve food too. Unfortunately I haven't tried any of their food items, but it's because I ate at Ninja Ramen prior to going. They have a book shelf of games that patrons can borrow which makes for a fun night with friends, and the interior is well done and very trendy! Have seen plenty of families/friends playing games and drinking boba here. I still prefer boba at other places but if I need one late, I'm happy that I can depend on this place for that. read more

I'm not a fan of the boba. It's alright. Lacks the sweetness of honey boba and the chewiness was a bit off. Shaved ice here wins hands down. Mango shaved ice was delicious. Every bite was mango flavor, and they had the sense to drizzle the toppings in layers to make sure it stays that way! Yum. read more

Love their coconut shrimp a lot. I always order it every time I come here. Their drinks are not really good. Im not saying they are bad, but just average. Their foods are a must...!!!! They recently have new dishes: calamari and potato shrimp (ask for sweet and sour sauce instead). They are also really tasty. read more

I saw the awesome reviews and thought I'd try this place. Disappointed!! Cashier was too busy talking to the other worker and wasn't paying attention to my order even though she asked to take my order. Bad customer service! I should have walked out... The ice cream on top of our snow ice fell on the tray. They offered to fix it but I told him I wanted the order to go...the worker told me that would cost me extra! Wtf!! I already $8 bucks! There was no disclosure anywhere that I couldn't get my order to go. My boba tea was in a to go cup! Boba teas were not good. Waste of money for me...since I had somewhere I needed to be. Very disappointed. Not coming back to this place. read more

This is my new favorite place to get my bubble tea fix! I wasn't really sure what to get since it was my first time being there but the guy behind the counter was very friendly and recommended me the black milk tea as the 'most ordered.' The atmosphere was so chill and chic, making this place THE PLACE to hang out. Definitely recommend this place, and I definitely will be back to try something new! Cute place! Tried the Jasmine Milk Tea and it was two thumbs up. Ordered the regular size and regretted not ordering the large. Boba was on point - perfect chewiness. I ordered eggettes as well, which took like 15-20 minutes. It was packed on a Sunday later afternoon, with lots of people hanging around with a drink while waiting for ramen next door. Finally found a table to play some games. Eggettes were good. Everything was good, except it was so packed that it was difficult to find seating or even try to talk to each other. I saw some people with their laptops studying, like how?! An hour later it quieted down a little bit, but it stayed busy. Would go back! read more

This is our second time here, and I really appreciate the management and customer service here a lot. They are what warranted the 3 stars. Lol, the teas here need some improvement, no offense. Either it's too watered down, or too much milk overwhelmed the actual flavor. I really really wanna give them more chances, but my company didn't like any of the drinks. Maybe in the future, i hope they'd do better. read more

I got the jasmine green milk tea with white boba (because they ran out of regular boba), and it was actually pretty good! Unlike a lot of other boba places, their milk tea isn't mostly milk. You can actually taste the jasmine green tea in it, with a hint of milk. As for the white boba, it tastes pretty much like normal boba except a little bit softer. I definitely want to come back and try out some other things on their menu! read more

"If Young Metro don't trust ya, gotta shoot ya." The place is chill and posh. Great snow ice and little quick bites. We thought that the only place to find snow ice would be Carrollton, then we stumbled upon this place. The location, board games and ambience is nice and welcoming. I tried my go-to, jasmine green milk tea with boba, the drink itself didn't have a tea taste, it was more milk than anything and the boba has oddly soggy and hard at the same time. My boyfriend got a strawberry lemonade and the first make literally tasted like a cup of sugar but the girl nicely remade it but was still way too sugary that it upset my stomach. I would not come here again for the boba but maybe if I tried something different or just wanted to sit down with games. read more

The place is pretty small but has a cute interior. The employees are great. There is free wifi and plenty of outlets. I recommend bringing headphones/earphones if you plan on studying because large groups usually come through. Their snow ices are delicious, my favorite is the oreo snow ice. You can choose from multiple flavors for the ice cream scoop that goes on top. The eggettes were good to try, but I honestly wouldn't purchase it again; overpriced and okay taste. My favorite drink to buy is the Thai green tea. read more

The only reason I'm not giving five stars is because of an interaction that left a disappointing impression. The owner appeared to be making his way around the restaurant greeting guests. He stopped by our table, warmly greeted and spoke with my son, then moved on without ever acknowledging me or my wife. It may have been completely unintentional, but it left us feeling overlooked. As someone who serves in ministry and regularly recommends businesses to church members, friends, and professional contacts, I left thinking this could have become one of my go-to recommendations. Unfortunately, that interaction changed what could have been a great relationship with the restaurant. One thing I've learned in life is that you never know who's sitting at your table. A simple greeting can turn a customer into a loyal supporter. The food was excellent, and I sincerely wish this business continued success. I went there at 11:30 pm and still got real good service! They messed up my order but they were happy to correct it and didn't charge anything else. Their boba is pretty average and the boba balls aren't hard and their tea mix is delicious and not smoothie like. Also they make their drinks real quick it took like a minute for them to fix up my drink and it didn't taste like it was rushed. Their teas are around 4 dollars which is sooo worth it!! They also have board games and is a very cute little boba place to aid ur late night cravings. And the staff quietly chatted amongst themselves, which was very polite and wasn't disturbing the vibe. Mango bubble waffle with vanilla ice cream and chocolate dipped sticks was the reason for the stop and was everything I hoped it would be! This place is amazing. It has good decorations and it is large enough for parties. I brought some my friends here to try the snow ice (called Bingsoo in Korea). I ordered three Bingsoo: cheese cake, mango, and mixed berry. I just feel 3 bowls of snow ice are good for 5 girls and I highly recommend trying the cheese cake snow ice. Absolutely fantastic boba tea shop! The guy who took my order was super nice & knew everything there was to know about the menu, so his drink recommendations were spot on.
