My husband loved it. The massages are a little rough, so I asked for them to be a little softer. But, I'm kinda a baby with massages, like I don't book deep tissue type of massages. The masseuse went on top of my back on all fours lol. I started laughing when she did that, she started to giggle too. I told my husband she was so petite I didn't mind it. The spa areas were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. I didn't bring a bathing suit, so I couldn't use the co-ed area which looked so peaceful and relaxing. The spa offered shorts for men, so my husband utilized the co-ed hot tubs. He said he was the only person in the co-ed area and men's side. In the women's area, where they had the hit tubs, women are nude. So, it's a little stressful at first because I never been to a spa where people are nude. But, I eventually got comfortable and enjoyed the hot tubs. The women's are that had the clay room, salt room, and sauna required robes. That area was so relaxing. The clay area was my favorite.

I'm so glad I gave this place a try. Tom did my nails, and he was amazing. He was very gentle, confident, and clearly knew exactly what he was doing. My nails came out beautiful, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I walked in, everyone greeted me with smiles, and they got me in right away. The customer service was excellent, and the entire experience was relaxing and welcoming. I also have to mention how comfortable their chairs are! So many nail salons have uncomfortable chairs, but these were incredibly comfortable, which made the experience even more enjoyable. This was honestly the best nail salon experience I've had in a long time. I think I've finally found my new nail home. Thank you, Tom, and everyone at Jade Nail Bar! I'll definitely be back.

Instead, I spent over three hours in the salon because my nail technician repeatedly got my pedicure color wrong. I specifically requested Funny Bunny and Bubble Bath and even showed multiple reference photos. Despite that, she applied a regular white polish instead of Funny Bunny, and I had to ask several times for corrections. Throughout the appointment, I expressed my concerns to Sharon, the owner. Rather than stepping in to resolve the situation or advocating for me as the paying customer, she repeatedly told me to ask the technician to redo it herself. After multiple failed attempts, the technician eventually refused to continue working on my nails. Instead of fixing the entire pedicure, only a few toes were redone then Sharon stepped in to redo them. After spending three hours there and paying close to $150, I left frustrated and exhausted. The biggest issue came afterward. Since I was going to the beach, Sharon recommended acrylic on my big toenails. I had never had acrylic on my toes before and trusted her professional recommendation. Within days, my big toenail painfully ripped off and bled, and several of the other acrylic toenails began lifting and falling off in less than a week. After researching acrylic toenails, I learned they can place significant stress on the natural nail and, in some cases, lead to injuries like the one I experienced. Had I known the potential risks, I never would have agreed to the service. When I reached out to Sharon to explain what happened and asked how to safely remove the remaining acrylic so I wouldn't risk losing another toenail, I was shocked by her response. Rather than showing concern for my injury or offering to correct the situation, she told me I would have to pay another $15 just to have the acrylic removed. That response told me everything I needed to know about how this business values its customers. There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to make things right after a service that resulted in an injury. Between the three-hour appointment, repeated mistakes, poor customer service, lack of professionalism, and being asked to pay even more after my toenail broke and bled, I cannot recommend Jade Nail Salon. I was a returning customer who gave this salon another chance, and unfortunately, it confirmed why I stopped coming in the first place. I hope the owner starts prioritizing customer care and accountability, because no client should leave a salon injured and then be asked to pay even more to fix the salon's mistake. There's a reason you asked me to write a positive review!! The time stamps and dates don't lie!

It is a sanctuary amidst the hustle bustle of Los Angeles in Korea town and safely located across from the police station. A plus parking is free in the plaza downstairs. The moment you enter you are greeted by the friendly office manager and you meet store owner Eunice. The hospitality is felt immediately. You are issued a locker and towels with a cute pink robe. You cannot wear bathing suits or shoes, but the robe is what you wear and the spa is so clean and smells amazing inside. They have various rooms such as charcoal clay sauna, infrared sauna, steam room, Himalayan salt room, Himalayan salt bath, cold room, oxygen room, mugwort tea bath where you pour the basin of mugwort tea and drench it over your body in a seated shower section. Mugwort tes smells earthy and helps with skin issues. You can do a body scrub to exfoliate your dead skin and your skin will be amazingly soft and dewy. They use a scrubbing mitten and you can request gentler scrubbing versus a new mitt which will be more firm exfoliating scrub. The massage is 1 hour long and extremely relaxing. You can choose green tea or collagen milk for your massage. The collagen milk left my skin so dewy and soft. In the end they wrap your hair into a cute bun atop your head and wrapped in a cute pink towel. The V steam is something new I never heard of before and tried for first time. You are in a private room and sit on a cushion seat with an circular opening and beneath are herbs heated and you wear a cute cloth robe to absorb the steam over your privates hence V stream -- benefits with cramping, hormones, constipation, fertility, etc They offer a biscuit and tea while you stay in treatment x 30 minutes. If it gets too hot you lift the robe upward and it is cooler for your body. There is an area for food that opens at noon. The menu is a variety like Bimbibap or ginseng chicken soup and more. I will definitely come back to try this eating area. Every room is meticulously designed, clean and relaxing. I felt pampered here and can't wait to return. From the moment my treatment began, the body scrub attendant's demeanor felt cold and unwelcoming. Her tone of voice came across as harsh, and when she spoke to me, it was loud enough that other guests looked over. Since everyone is undressed during these treatments, that made me feel especially uncomfortable and vulnerable. The body scrub itself was much rougher than I expected. I wasn't asked whether the water temperature was comfortable, and the pressure felt unnecessarily aggressive rather than relaxing. I left feeling more sore than refreshed, which isn't what I expect from a spa treatment. This was also the second month in a row that I was assigned to the same body scrub attendant, even though I've never had her before and had always been treated by someone else in the usual wet room. It struck me as unusual, especially since I had previously noticed her speaking very harshly to other staff members. I'm sharing this feedback in the hope that it's taken constructively. I truly enjoy this spa overall, but I hope more attention is given to making every guest feel comfortable, respected, and cared for during their treatment.

Tomoko Spa is located on a very busy street, but you forget all that as soon as you step inside. They do a really great job of creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The experience starts with a 15 min foot soak/massage, and that already was divine. The masseuse puts the perfect amount of pressure, and that combined with the warm water, almost put me to sleep, haha. For the body massage part, the masseuse asks you what parts you want focused on and how much pressure you would like. They are also really good at checking in at various parts of the massage to make sure you are completely satisfied. I really appreciated how thorough they are with the massage and also how proactive they are in making sure you are enjoying the experience. At the end of the massage, we were given hand-whisked matcha tea to drink, and they also provided us jelly, a handwritten note, and a rose to celebrate our anniversary :) We had such a lovely experience, and I cannot recommend this place enough, whether to celebrate a special occasion, or just to treat yourself! ** If you book a couple's massage, they provide complimentary parking in the lot next to the spa, otherwise there's paid street parking or parking garages available nearby
