Geonn, or as I like to call him "foodie" is an amazing person........let me explain. Several weeks ago I found this barbershop online to take my dad to get an "old" school shave, head and face. We lost mom two years ago and then my dad was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of dementia. He's extremely hard of hearing, has developed some strange behaviors etc. For the first time, in a long time, I didn't have to explain or "justify" why my dad was so "bizarre". I just said a few words to warn "GFoodie" and Big Rick and without hesitation they were like "awesome, we love it, we love all brothers"......OMG, thank you "GFoodie" and Big Rick.........you made/make my dad feel like a man again and that's a very big deal. Wow! What a great find. After 5 years of crappy haircuts, I finally found a good barber in Vancouver. I was beginning to think that no one in town knew how to cut a straight line. I was wrong. All three barbers were working on precision haircuts. They take their time and give you high quality results. And yes, they talk about everything here. I found it refreshing, considering I was going to a Republican-based shop for years. Being gay, I was often pissed off listening to all the conservative rhetoric flying around about "my type" and " those damn Democrats" and had enough. I look forward to having Rick cut my hair from now on. It cost 5 dollars more than the other barber. But I have no problem with that if I'm going to get a better cut. read more

Got a haircut and face shave from Juan. I've never had a face shave before, so I wasn't quite sure what to expect. $25 for both is reasonable. After the shave, I had about 10 blood spots on my face, not sure if that's typical. It was definitely the closest shave I've ever had, I don't think I'll try it again. read more

Addie did a great job on my fade. Been a while since I've been to a barber and got a real fade when back in my HS days. I had a lot more hair back then but Addie made what I have left look great :) And the conversation in the shop was hilarious! I assume it was Rick in there and he was a crack up. New to the area and found this shop while calling around to find a place willing to shave my head. This so the only place I found and they do an excellent job. Very traditional "old school". They're open 6 days a week as well. The barbers are a bit younger than me but great kids. They cut all the current styles, many of which are the old styles coming back around. read more

Choose a different barber. I would leave a zero star if I could. The hours of operation are from 10am to 7pm. After driving 20 minutes to get to this place, I walk in at 5:58pm to an empty shop and was denied service because the barber was having a "meeting." He told me to come back a different day. I drove all the way from Battle Ground WA, he came highly recommended by someone I know. I drove 30 min only to be told he takes his last customer at 6 PM. I showed up at 5:45 PM well before 6 PM. I also tried to call the business but no one answered and he said his phone line was cut due to construction going on, on 4th Plain. I have never been so irritated, annoyed and bummed out. I can't believe I was turned away. Change your hours or stop turning customers away b/c you want to get off your feet. Online, on the door and else where it shows he closes at 7 PM. Annoying. These guys are the reason I even created a Yelp account. I was so disgusted walking out of there that I had to share.. I was stoked to see all the positive feedback on these guys when I walked in, but don't let that fool you. I cant say much for the hair cuts because I came in for a beard trim, and I didn't catch the big dudes name, but he just took it down.. Not cleaned and lined up, but almost completely off. I contemplated going home and just shaving the rest off myself.. Aside from butchering my beard, I cant say much for the haircut nor do I want to test it. The disgust primarily came from the shop, and the barbers themselves. A) They keep pitbulls in there - The customer's waiting bench is covered with dog hair B) The moment "big guys" customer walked out the door after his haircut, the words that came out of his mouth in front of the other customers on the bench were - "Wow, that guy smelled like shit" and went to laughing it off.. You can know damn well you will be judged the moment you walk in and out of that door. Sure he may have had bad hygiene, but he came to you for a clean up and who are you to proclaim that in front of your customer base? C) Lastly - The entire time I was there the conversation between the 2 barbers was trash talking the other barber that had not come in that day, and about one of them "hooking" up with a lesbian customer that had come in before.. Full details, everything she had done on him. Now don't get me wrong, I'm a dude and could care less but this was all happening WHILE I sat next to a lady with 2 little girls between the ages of 3-5. While this lady was visibly uncomfortable, she waited on her husband and left. read more
