DO NOT GO HERE! TLDR: They will try to scam you so you have…read moreto go back to them and require their services time and time again. They will not do their due diligence to ensure you complete satisfaction. Less than a year ago, I had them replace my brakes (something I've had done before elsewhere). They replaced my front & rear pads and rotors as well as my front right caliber. I thought I was getting a good deal on the price until... The first time around they didn't do it right which led to complications a couple months later. Due to lack of urgency on their end to fix their mistake, the repair wasn't refixed for 4 months since the original "fix". During the re-fix, they had to replace everything again (luckily free of charge), however, here I am another 5 months later since that re-fix experiencing brake issues once again because of their negligence- my front left caliber now needs replacing and because of the damage it has called, i now also need to replace my front pads and rotors again. I've called multiple mechanics since finding out and have been told that calibers are typically replaced together and not individually. I find it hard to believe that something that seems like "common sense" amongst mechanics wasn't known by the mechanics here. It's giving they were banking on my left caliber to cause problems so that i pay them for the same service i already paid them for less than a year ago. I find it absolutely ridiculous that after 2 visits and a mistake on their end, they chose TO NOT advise me to replace my left caliber to avoid this exact scenario.

I bought a 150cc Vespa scooter in the Spring of 2008 and in the course of insuring it as a…read moremotorcycle my insurance company accidentally canceled the coverage on my regular car. In order to re-gain coverage on my car my insurer required an inspection and the closest agent they recommended was Auto Depot. I drove over there one day and walked up into the office. It turns out that the business was officially closed while they did inventory (and I think some staff were on vacation). Despite that, when they found out I needed an insurance inspection they grabbed the paperwork and a camera and took care of me. I was pleasently surprised that they did this while "closed" since I don't think inspections for insurance companies are a big money maker. A few months later (and after dumping the vespa on a street one day thanks to a wet manhole cover) I brought the scooter to them to see if they could repair a couple of dents and a lot of paint scratches. After taking some gentle ribbing about owing a scooter (I think some of the staff are serious motorcycle heads) they gave me a price estimate and told me it may take a few days of work since they'd have to custom match and mix the paint. At that point one of the owners offered to give me a ride back to Roslindale Village where I could easily walk or grab a bus back home to my house. They were unable to get official Vespa paint so they used some sort of optical scan gun to read the colors and generate the info they needed to have a shop mix up a custom batch. The end result was fantastic - except for some scratches on some chrome bits that I don't care about they fixed all the dents and matched the scooter paint *exactly* when repairing the body scratches. The final price was exactly what they had estimated as well - no surprises. So in summary: * They opened the shop just to perform an insurance inspection on my car * An owner drove me to Rozzie Village after I dropped off my scooter * They mixed custom paint when fixing the scooter and did great bodywork * The paint/bodywork estimate was exactly what I ended up paying Obviously this is just my $.02 but they've earned my loyalty and I'll be bringing the car back there some time to get some body panel scratches fixed. -chris

I called Auto Depot as soon as I got to town and they were able to get me right in. The service was incredible. Friendly, upfront staff. Not only fixed my car through the insurance claim but also a handful of other things, like an oil change and brakes. They're an all-service shop, which is really helpful. They were also able to somehow get my deductible lowered, which was really awesome and unexpected. My only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that I had also asked them to check my wipers and they forgot but that's really not a big deal. I'll call them and take it back in at some point, but really not a big deal. Overall, I think I've found my new favorite body shop. I would highly recommend them.
