I am SO glad to see that I am not the only one who had a wonderful experience with K&C autobody and sales. I am also glad that I asked my trusted neighbor for a recommendation after I scratched up the passenger side of my friend's car after she had loaned it to me for an errand. There were horrible white streaks on the front door and the back door had some damage as well which affected how it opened, I think. Anyway I was terrified that it could not be put back to its original condition and/or that it would be expensive. Paulo ended up quoting us an unbelievable price, got the job quickly and completely. I've used K&Cs twice now, the first time for a VW with a giant scrape down the passenger's side from someone in a parking lot, this most recent time on my Honda with TWO giant scrapes from a trip to New York. I shopped around and was quoted in excess of $1500 for the fix from three other places. I went and spoke to Charlie and he said he'd do it for $1100. He took my car immediately, got it back to me sooner than he said he would, the work is immaculate and he did MORE than he quoted me (originally he said the quote wouldn't cover the cost of repair for a small nick in the bumper-- I hadn't included that in any of the quotes I'd requested--but he fixed it anyway!) My mom was so impressed with the work he's done on my cars that she took him her work truck to have repaired. If another jackass hits me in a parking lot, I'll definitely be going to K&Cs to get it fixed. read more

I took my car there after an accident a little while ago. My insurance covered most of the damage and labor but I still had to pay quite a bit out of pocket - which was more than I was quoted. When I picked up the car it looked great, and I was very pleased with the results. However after several weeks I noticed that some of the paint was flaking off and there were some signs of rust underneath. After doing some investigating I learned that the owner of K&C's partner's up with the Ferris junk yard across the way. Now I know that several body shops will get parts from yards and such, but I had been billed for a brand new panel from the manufacturer and a junk panel had been used instead. When I confronted Charley about it he claimed that it was a brand new part and that there wasn't any rust and the paint flaking was just wax peeling off. Really?? Buyer beware - the owner will nickel and dime you for junk parts and charge a premium claiming that they are brand new parts. I only went there because they are closer to my house that the old body-shop that I have used in the past - I guarantee that it is worth going the extra distance to stay away from K&C's. read more

Last month I had an accident in my 2015 KIA Optima. I was not sure where to have it fixed. My sister recommended Paulo at K&C Auto Body.
