My first experience with T and S was back in 1996 when my car was involved in an accident. A friend of mine had refered me to the shop but I was hesitant due to bad experiences at other shops. My friend convinced me to bring my car there and when we got there I met a man by the name of Shorty, when my friend introduced us I noticed that he was very friendly and easy going not to mention that the shop was too clean and organized which raised an eyebrow (Interesting). He then began to look over my car and then brought me to the office to sign all the paperwork to which he explained every document in full detail, thereafter he call for a rental and they came to pick me up. A week later I decided to swing by the shop just to see how the job was coming along and to my surprise I saw my car stripped completely with nothing on it when I saw Shorty he greeted me with a smile and asked me is anything wrong because of the expression on my face I began to tell him that none of the body shops that i went to have tooken apart the vehicle the way he did to paint that they would always cover and mask everything up, he looked at me and smiled and simply replyed didn't I tell you not to worry that you was in great hands and that he stood by his work 100%. I took his word and went amung my business. Two weeks later I got a call from Shorty and right after he asked how my family and i were doing he told me that my car was ready for pick up, I was like REALLY? my car wasnt due for pick up for a couple of more days later I then went there to see my car. When I got to the shop i was all smiles i couldn't believe how great my car looked better than when I bought it. Shorty then began to show me the unrealted damage that he had taken care of for me, I thanked him for the work he told me to leave my rental there that he would take care of everything. Ever since that one experience I have been bringing all my cars to T and S no matter how big or small the job may be. My first experience with T & S Autobody was back in 2009 when my car was parked at my apartment in East Boston, MA . That day when I got home from work I found a note with the persons name for me to contact; after filing the papers with my insurance agency and this being my first time dealing with anything like this I spoke to one of my coworkers and he said he could refer me to a shop in Roslindale, MA that would do very good job on my car. I took my car that following weekend and meet the shops owner Shorty and he was very polite and professional and explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. That was back in 2009. Now, in December 2011 I had an accident myself and total my car. After all the back and forth with my insurance agency I decided to keep my car and took it back to T&S. I had it tow there the second week in January 2012. The damage that was done I have to say I was a little doubtful. After the reassurance from Shorty I felt like I did the right thing by keeping my car and bring it to him. I picked my car up this weekend and I have to say my car looks like it has just came off the show room floor (no joking). The work is superb. You can not even tell this was the same car. Shorty is a professional business man that take the word "Customer Service" very serious. He has a professional staff backing him also. T & S has done more than $7,000 of work on my car (all insurance claims). If you're searching yelp trying to decide on what mechanic to roll your dice on in the brookline/roslindale/west roxbury/dedham area, call T & S now. You'll be amazed how easy and no no-nonsense the repairs will be. When I've gone to T & S: 1. I call Shorty, the owner, and have always been able to drop my car off early in the morning or after 5pm (my experience has been on weekdays). At drop off there's a rent-a-car pickup no more than 5 minutes away. 2. I've called my insurance company, spent 5 minutes initiating the claim. 3. That's it, I forget about everything from there. The work has been quick, no more than a week with my rent-a-car. If there was some sort of accident, I'm able to be back to work or whatever I was doing. Hitting a deer, flying objects, accidents all reduced to about an hour of inconvenience for me. I don't have to deal with being around for the assessor, Shorty doesn't call me to upsell me on work I don't need, I don't have to worry about what sort of shape my car will be in when I pick it up Everytime I've brought my car to T & S, I've picked the car up with more fixes done than I expected. My car's dents, dings and scratches get cleaned up, anything that makes sense to fix gets fixed-- no haggling or being asked to buy more than I need. I'd never think of taking my car anywhere else. Yesterday was my husbands first time going to this shop. He was having brake problems with his Honda Civic. His brakes were squeaking. My husband was fully informed by the tech that the car had more than just a brake issue and his car was in danger of hurting himself on the road if this was not taken care of. The tech explained detail by detail about the car. My husband was very surprised with the tech taking the time out to show him what they did before and after. My husband was truly inspired by the customer service, friendliness and most of all the outstanding work that was done to avoid further danger. He said there was a significant difference in the way his car sounds and moved prior to repairs. The price was very affordable and within our budget. The shop is very clean. Nice location in Roslindale on the main street. Close by Forest Hill MBTA Station and near by shopping spots and restaurants. We are extremely happy that we now have a new auto mechanic home that we can bring our car to. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good quality that's worth your dollars. T & S Autobody is a fantastic example of a top-rate locally owned business. I've taken my Prius to Shorty and his crew twice now. Both times, they did amazing repairs: my 2007 car looks brand new where they worked on it! Plus they finished in less than a week and are very reasonably priced. Shorty is courteous and someone you instinctively feel you can trust. He was very careful to explain all the paperwork from the insurance company and appraiser. He even arranged for a rental car for me to use while my car was in his shop. The whole experience couldn't have been smoother. Best experience at an auto shop ever! I brought my car in after the front bumper had completely fallen off and Shorty fixed it up for a more than reasonable price. I am from out-of-state and could easily have been charged more for the fix. I was so happy with Shorty and his personable and capable staff that I brought my car back the next day for some extra work. Shorty personally picked up a part for my car at a dealership and even fixed some of my more minor interior imperfections. Any work I ever need done will be at T & S Auto. T & S Auto Body is the best body shop I have been to. I talked to Mike after a serious accident. He fixed the front of my car so it looked new within a couple of days. My car is over ten years old. When I first drove it out of the garage, I felt the same when I bought it new. Not to mention the inside was all cleaned. My $20 that in loose change that was scattered throughout my car was bagged and sealed. This is a business that takes customer service to the next level.
