changed from 1 star to 4. If you haven't read my past reviews we ordered from RAYMONDO'S for several years probably 35 years. They really went downhill a couple years ago. Food quality went down. They stopped answering their phone when they were open and they didn't deliver past 3 or 4 pm which was really incredibly stupid. so we stopped ordering from them. for quite some time so the other day I found a menu while going through a drawer and figured I'd give them another shot not expecting much but on the count that we have ordered from them for several years but stopped due to the reasons I listed above I figured I would give them one final last shot so I ordered 2 subs a turkey club and a turkey hoagie. which are 2 totally different subs When the subs came we received 2 turkey clubs, not a turkey club and a turkey hoagie. I called them and they corrected it. and delivered the correct sub but Everything that I complained about my past reviews has been fixed. It seems they are answering their phone and they are delivering past 4pm and. The food quality has really went up and tonight 9/24/25 I figured I would give their PIZZA and wings a try again and it was really good so as long as they keep going in the direction they are currently going in. I came back to Buffalo to visit some family. I used to work at this pizzeria in the late 80s. And I still think it's the best pizza out here. I haven't been back in 30 years. While I've been here, I've been to the anchor bar, bocce, La Nova, and here. I love the way that the pepperoni cupped. It reminds me of when I lived back here a long time ago. I have been enjoying Raymondos for years but over the last 2 years I put them on the back burner. I have no clue why because I've always enjoyed their food. So today I wanted a great turkey sub with yummy oil and I thought and thought and thought about where I could go. I get on FB and search best turkey sub. A few conversations from friends popped up and Raymondos was one place listed. So I call and place my order before I had time to change my mind. I also grabbed a slice a cheese and pep for a friend when I picked up my order. Of course I had to sample the slice so I could review it. The slice looked good and the taste was good as well. However I am a person who loves saucy pizza and the slice was a little dry for my liking but the flavor was still there. When placing a pizza order try out the SWEET SAUCE, which they only give you if requested. That's the sauce that I get when I place a pizza order, you won't be disappointed at all. My turkey sauce was everything that I wanted. The oil and mayo was just the right amount. I def made a good food decision today!!! Oh and of course I didn't take a pic before diving right into my sub.. Wanted a steak sub today and ordered from Raymondo's. I was not disappointed at all. Haven't ate here in about 10 years but today I ordered a large pepperoni pie and the whole ride home the smell was teasing me lol definitely a heavier type of pizza but the cheese, sauce, pepperoni, and the crispy crust was delish. The only thing "bad" I have to say is that it could of been cooked a couple mins longer, and I didn't eat it when it was hot and fresh but overall it was a good pie so 4/5 it is! I have been eating pizza and wings from Raymondo's since my childhood. It was my first Buffalo pizza experience and the place that taught me that pepperoni should be small, round, and crispy on the edge. The sauce and spices haven't changed and neither has my love of this place. Don't forget to try a turkey bacon sub too. I always order medium wings and pep pizza and they have yet to let me down it's been 3 years strong !

I am a teacher at Build community school. When I first started there a few years ago they were the only one that delivered. Now that is not the case. But I keep going back because the pizza is outstanding. We stick to the sheet pizza with cheese and sometimes half pepperoni. It is consistently loaded with cheese which I really appreciate. I highly recommend this pizza and I am a pretty tough critic. read more

I always order from Raymond's they have really good food and near where I live. sometimes the customer service can be a little brash but I tend to overlook that and focus on the food. Prices can swing a lot and they always have a "new" menu and can get busy quickly. Best subs in the area. I work in transportation, so I get around to a few places, and Raymondo's is definitely my favorite. The staff always makes my day whenever I make an order too. For vegetarians, the cheese sub is available baked or not baked and includes, swiss-american sub cheese, yellow american, and shredded mozzarella. I highly recommend their vegetarian sub, which includes...cheese, lettuce, tomato. Then onion, hot +sweet peppers, and mushroom fried. I order it without cheese, and it is tastes awesome! They use Costanzo's rolls- classic white and wheat. Keep in mind the wheat Costanzo's do have egg in them. read more

I ordered last night for the first time, and everything was fantastic. We ordered a baby beef taco pizza, baby pepperoni and mushroom, wings (hot) and a chicken taco. The taco pizza was probably one of the best I've had, the pepperoni and mushroom pizza was also delicious. Great crust too! Wings weren't over the top or anything, but very good and what you'd expect from most pizza places. The chicken taco was excellent, ordered it medium and wasn't too spicy. I've been going here on and off since I was little. Pizza and subs are good and priced competitively. They loose points for delivery service, because slow is an understatement. I only live 10 blocks away but it took about 2 hours to get my large pizza. No warning that it might take this long nor any kind of recompense for the lateness.
