Don't believe the negative reviews! This place is awesome. I've been going and buying merchandise here since 2005. And never had a problem with them. I even referred people to this company and they were also happy with their business and customer service. I've bought an engine, they did my distributor swap. They can order it but i brought a used one from a friend. They also did a starter sap, my lower control arms, strut bars, a quick release set, lowering suspension, amber lights, fog lights, I bought HIDs, stickers, and many other items I forgot. The female who did a first review on this company said she got charged $3,300 for a B20 swap. Well I have an Integra, I went from B18 to B20. I paid a total of $1,150 something like that plus tax. The engine was $550, the rest was installation. They even told me. "B20 was stronger, and cost less than the B18." How's this even true, when they told her the price, she should had call a brother, dad, cousin or brother for a second opinion or something. Because an GSR, Or Type R is around that or more, so I think she's lying. read more

First off in any business, your customer satisfaction should be key which obviously your internet browsing while customers in store said it all then YOU gave me a time to come back because your mechanic was installing "race headers" yet your mechanic was outside taking shots of the lexus he was working on probably to bump your likes on your ig lol. Second YOU knew what I was getting done, you said you done it 100s of times seeing this isn't my second merry go round getting a fender cutout where I never had to provide a sidemarker (well then again because they carry AUTHENTIC merchandise), you would ask while I was there the first time or during the brief phone conversation? Don't you think calling a customer as you ask for their phone number so you can update them as a COMMON COURTESY is the thing a shop should be doing?!? Why am I calling you on a update?! But what do I know.... I came in with a Ek9 imported (grey marketed) just getting some sidemarkers from some us fenders to take for paint. Mad at me cause I called your company out and gave props to another. Came here around 1 to get a simple side marker cutout so I can send my car out for paint and they were busy which was fine I walked in. He tells me his mechanic is working on a header install, ask me for my name and number and tells me he'll give me a call around 4. So I call the paint shop letting them know I have to push it back. 4:24 rolls around. No call from R spec. So I call him. He's still telling me he's still working on it but finishing up. How long does it take to install headers?! I guess I shoulda seen the signs. So then he asks me when I needed to bring the car in for paint which was ummm 4 hrs ago. So I told him as soon as you guys are done. So he tells me to come by and he should be done by then or close to it. So I arrive at 4:48. Everything is good and he then asks me "you brought the sidemarker right? " W.......T...........F. Mind you if your using a template and your shop has done this plenty of times whether oem or your knockoff sidemarkers, the cut is not complicated. I literally almost wanted to go ape shit. Because not once did this guy (owner) say "oh by the way bring your own sidemarkers so we can make sure it's snug fit because our shop we only sell knock off goods." When I made the appointment the first time I arrived. That's ok. First time here, last time coming. I'll continue going to Evasive Motorsports. A real authentic quality shop. read more

Was advised they would let me know pricing once they took a dive into it. Received a call a few hours later that my car was done and the traction bar was too installed! RSpec is the spot for import or JDM parts. I've been here quite a few times. I've purchased a few suspension system for varies Honda's I've owned, hid kits and lights, and whatever I needed. Today was actually a good experience. A week ago my hid lights went out. So I went to go purchase a set of bulbs. But for a days I was having some issues. I went back to see if I made the wrong purchase but the guy informed me a couple of troubleshooting method and if I couldn't get it to work, I would have take the car to the shop and have his technician take a look. Obviously I couldn't figured it out so I sent my son to The shop. The module or relay was bad. Purchased a new hid kit and installed. Just the experience was very good. I didn't feel they were scheming or undermining me to get more money out of me... line other shops that would. MY review for them are; great doing service with them, costumer service is great, and experiences is also great. read more

The staff is pretty friendly, they have a decent selection of parts the only downside is if you're looking to get your car worked on they usually tend to take the bigger jobs first rather than the smaller dollar ones. First of all Thank you guys at rspec autotek for all the work you guys did on my car. It came out amazing, I couldn't be any more pleased than how I am right now. I had a motor swap, they switched out my motor mounts, went rear disc,brand name coilover suspension, and a whole exhaust kit installed. Pleased with the time it took and the job quality on the car. They fixed my underdash wiring and my wire harness. Back to oem spec. I would totally recomend them to anyone else wanting to get work done on their imports. Thanks for the work again guys. I purchased a 91 mr2 a week ago. It was too low and the previous owner said there were lowering springs on the car. I bought new springs and shocks and needed them installed. One shop quoted $800 stating this car was hard to work on. I called rspec and they stated $150! I made an appointment and took my car in. Come to find out my mr2 already had coilovers on it. They adjusted each wheel for $15 each. Will be coming here for work on my car in the future. read more

Got a B20 swap done from them, they charged me 3300 for it way over priced and not only that it was done very poorly. I was having injector problems and really bad idle problems they even reused my single cam alt instead of a duel cam. May have a lot of aftermarket parts but don't let that get the best of you, buddy of mine bought a full exhaust from them it fell apart on the free way and sounded like crap. Look up your products on forums and get real advice before getting some parts. read more

I had an HID kit installed on my car back in January. After the installation they told me it was ready, so I turned on the lights to make sure they were what I hoped for and one of them was off. I walked back inside and told them that they weren't working properly so they took it back and fixed it. They told me it was because something wasn't clamped properly on the right headlamp. I took it back to them yesterday and they told me they couldn't do anything even though the HID kit had a 2 year warranty and they're technician was out to lunch. They told me to come back the next day like it was no big deal. I highly do not recommend this place. Horrible customer service! read more

After reading a few of these reviews I must say the negative comments on here is not called for. Although, it's my opinion! When it comes to my car, I'm very picky in who touches it! In the past, I've came across shady people weather it was a referral or a forum on FB stating they knew about cars and pretty much fed me lies at the end. When I heard about Rspec, I was very skeptical at 1st just because I wasn't trying to be done dirty. But eventually... After talking to them, they were very humble and straight forward in what was good for my car and budget. They were and still are VERY helpful and their not about taking your money away like other shops that I've been to in the past were they see you as a dollar bill(s) versus to a potential coming back costumer. Since then, I only let Rspec work on my car when it's needed then taking it elsewhere and dealing with the hassles and problems. There prices are very reasonable and remember it's a business and not a place to try and lowball them. needed some vtec solenoid gaskets (top and side), i walked in good service when i asked about it and i wanted to change the top one but wasnt sure which one it was, i asked the representative, "are you sure this is the right one"? he says yea, i go home install the side gasket but the top one was incorrect one, keep in mind my hands are dirty and have some oil, i got back within 40 minutes asked him and showed him this is not the right one he agrees but i cant get a refund according to them?? only store credit and it was my idea to get the store credit, reason was because i ripped open the bag (instead of cutting it w scissors????) , p s went to acura dealership and it was 14.99. i did get motor oil in exchange though read more

Just horrible . I bought overpriced hids because I had store credit and one of them went short only a week after they installed them. They were trying to blame it on my car as if it had anything to do with it . They kept complaining saying I didn't pay for labor after they installed the lights in about 3 minutes. Fuckin lazy ass mechanics . The only reason I had them install it was because the lights wouldn't fit . I don't even think they were meant for my car . They were speaking they're language while I was there . I'm sure they were talking bad about me . Horrible service . Wanted to charge me another 25 dollars for another light and had the nerve to tell me he was "doing me a favor " WTF! I can find a whole set of those cheap hids on eBay for 25 dollars ! Don't waste your time you can find all their parts on eBay 2x cheaper ! Don't believe me just take a look . This will come back to bite them in the ass . Guaranteed !
