Allow me to explain. First, the deductible is 1% of the coverage, which is much higher than other providers, which is generally a fixed amount of $1,000-$2,000. Typically, this is to decrease premiums for those who don't anticipate making many too many claims. However, the premium that Duy charges you is also much more than other providers... Why? I called an agent (Henry), and he tried to explain to me that having a higher deductible is a good thing, and something I should pay more for. Seeing that he works in insurance, I don't think he is so clueless to really believes something like that. It leads me to the only explanation is that he is maliciously preying on folks who don't really know how insurance works in order to rip them off for decades. Oh, and once you start probing too much, Henry's attitude makes a complete 180 and becomes rude and impatient. If you do business with Duy, you will regret it. You may not regret it today, or tomorrow. But you will live to regret it eventually. That's what happened to us. Curious that this place has only a handful of reviews, and the vast majority of the reviewers only have 1-3 reviews. Makes me question the authenticity of those reviews. Don't trust. Avoid. This was really frustrating as we don't have rental car insurance and we timed this months ahead so that it could be during a week when we were out of town on vacation. We were notified a couple days ago that the order wasn't assigned, by Service King, to which we emailed John to take care of and his office confirmed would be taken care of. We emailed last night to confirm and make sure that the order would get there since we had the appointment the next day and as of yesterday night, they say order will be there. I go to service King and they refuse to take my car because the order is still not there. I have been calling service King and John's office all morning trying to sort out the mixup. Neither side still has any clue what to do to correct the situation and get the order to the correct location. After securing childcare for the morning and dragging my sick self to the repair shop, I was forced to bring my damaged car back home. Super frustrating. Update: 10 days later from my initial post and haven't received a single update or call from the office. I called them this morning and told John was on another call and someone would need to call me back, but was told the office had been "working on the claim" last week and someone would get back to me before eod. They called me midday and said the repair shop had gotten the info so they should have called me. I call Service King Repair who tell me they just got the info they needed from Allstate and hour ago (!) and proceed to try and help me along. Obv the ball was dropped and they tried to scramble to fix the mess yet again. I do not recommend working with this office. Disorganized and dishonest. I've had car/boat/landloard/renter/house insurance with John. He has gone above and beyond time and again. Besides always getting back to me with any questions lighting quick, here are a few instances. - I was planning on driving my boat across the country and had some documents to send back, but when I was going to leave Allstate was closed. I was able to call John and ON HIS DAY OFF he still was able to get me on a policy before I left. - When I had a pipe burst and water damage in my house, John went over all the math with me - how much my premiums would go up, the deductibles, everything and made it a very easy choice on whether to file a claim. In the past I've had people obfuscate this type of information but John made is super clear - Whenever I have a question he gets back to me. "My boat stranded me and I had to tow it back? Is this covered?" "Yes, send us the receipt" - He's recommended that I buy less insurance for things that don't matter. He never upsells me. He talks to me about the coverage I'm buying and what it means. Am I passionate about insurance now? I never thought I would be but maybe! Honestly, having an insurance agent and agency I trust has been a game changer.

CDF made no visits to my office for over 10 years. They didn't intervene to find savings due to reduced risk with my business being forced to close. Found coverage for 20% off the cost from a small broker in Wenatchee. Go out of Seattle for coverage. Now Liberty Mutual has cheesy law firms calling for payment. Don't do business with L.M. or CDF. CALL small town agencies with good reviews.
