When I don't know what to eat, this rubios is always a great option! This location is always clean and the employees are always nice. I typically get fish tacos, shrimp tacos or the chicken burrito. My favorite salsa is the green verde salsa- good on everything and a great dip for chips too! Don't forget to sign up for their email list because they send promos and coupons sometimes, the prices on the food can be a little high, so getting a coupon for $2 off helps lower it a bit.

Tried the new Oaxacan shrimp bowl, but wasn't a huge fan this time. The shrimp was a bit soft and they included way too many beans as usual. Also,it wasn't as smoky as advertised. Saving 3 bucks made things even out a bit.

Fast friendly service. FISH TACOS- They're the BEST here! I was disappointed that the Taco Tuesday special didn't start until 2 pm. It's TUESDAY ALL DAY, so they really should honor that and give the discount all day. They do not honor the military with any kind of discount either. This location is clean and has a decent salsa bar with mixed onion/cilantro, jalapenos, cut limes and multiple salsa choices. It's not an inexpensive lunch choice unless you go after 2 pm on a Tuesday if you want fish tacos.

Sign for curbside pickup, but you have to go inside for pickup

I ordered a curbside pickup order and when I called to let them know I had arrived, I was told I had to come inside. I tipped when ordering online due to curbside pickup, so this is annoying.

To go chips with guacamole on top-kinda odd.

This was the second experience I've had with Ruubio's lately. Was a little disappointed. Had the shrimp and bacon burrito last time and loved it. This time got the seecomd shrimp burrito option on the menu and found it pretty bland, sadly. Got a burrito and chips and guacamole to go. Felt like it took quite a while to get my order. Wasn't told about the app or frequent customer incentives program by cashier so missed out on credit for my visit, sadly. Also thought putting guacamole on top of c to go is asking for soggy chips. Will probably go back to try other items and/or to get the burrito that actually had flavor Update- I painstakingly typed in the url they said to use to contact them and link is broken. Also emailed their website AND...NOTHING! Update 2- got a very generic email. Not sure what they were attempting to accomplish...

I was not sure about going to this Rubio's based on the other reviews, but I went and was very pleasantly surprised!! The staff was very nice, I waited about 7 minutes for my To-Go order, and the food looks perfect. I will definitely be back!

They have a great menu. Good variety. I often wonder why I don't eat there more often. I love all the fish and seafood options. Most places seem to have the same old tasteless stuff. At Rubio's, I find myself having a hard time deciding. We stopped in around lunch time. There were a few people in front of us, but the line moved quickly. We decided on a steak burrito and a shrimp burrito. Both were hot and fresh. Very flavorful. There is a salsa bar. Prices seem high until you take that first yummy bite. Then you realize it worth paying a little more for good food. Good service. Clean inside.

I checked in with the front-end person to inform them of my arrival and reservation. She found my name and informed me that the dining room was not yet open and that it would be open at 4pm. There were others waiting as well. I went to the restroom to wash my hands and upon my return there were others waiting too. A few minutes after 4pm they began calling names. All names were called by last name. Everyone was called and seated, including those that arrived after me. I was the last remaining person to be seated. They finally called me by my first name and took me over to be seated. They attempted to seat my right next to a large party. I requested that I be placed away stating that I did not want to be next to the group. She replied that they had no other servers and it may be a while. Within moments she sat me one table away. Why was I the last to be seated? The server finally came over and began his routine. I didn't like how he made sure to state over and over how the sides are not included and they all cost extra. I assure you that I can afford to eat at your establishment. He was very set on pushing the del monico steak. I had already stated that I wanted the Ribeye. I agreed to listen to the del monico explanation where he shared that the filet had no fat and the ribeye had lots of fat. The del monica was right in the middle. After the sales pitch, I was again set on the Ribeye. Not sure that he agreed with my choice, because he continued by stating that I must like my steak with lots of fat. The order was placed, not to his liking yet I was there for my enjoyment. Along with the steak I ordered a cup of clam chowder and side of asparagus. The clam chowder was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. The asparagus was under prepared. It was as if I was eating them raw, very crunchy. They did have nice flavor though. The server was informed that I was there for a Ribeye and a specialty drink. We had already discussed the steak so now for the drink. When I asked about the drinks, he just showed me the menu. I had already seen the menu on both sides yet I wasn't sure what drink I wanted. I explained again that I wasn't sure, yet I was hoping for a specialty drink. By this time other places begin suggesting specialty drinks based on my liking. That is the case when I visit Capital Grill in Scottsdale. Now when I visit there the server knows my drink. Today this server only stated that they have a full bar so once I decide I can order. So he was not helpful at all in that area of the restaurant. I thought a server would be knowledgeable enough to be able to make suggestions or recommendations and advise & inform me about the bar. What are the customer favorites? What has the bar come up with that customers like most? I saw on the website some drinks that looked interesting, yet I never saw any names attached to them. The server never came back after taking my order unless flagged by me. First, I called him when I had to show him the steak asking if that was Medium well. He stated no. Second was when I called him over to ask for a to go box for my steak. By 5pm I was not enjoying myself, so I decided to depart. The steak had to be sent back two times. The first after asking the server is this Medium well? He noticed how rare it was and took the steak back. When it came back a female in tan brought it back and asked me to check it. I cut it and again it was still rare. She picked it up asking if I wanted her to cook up a fresh steak. Without hearing my reply, she departed with the steak. Upon her return I noticed that she brought back the same steak. I cut into it and it was ok enough. I just wanted to eat. The steak was not as perfect as I had hoped for even after the trip back to the kitchen two times. That was the reason that I was at a so-called high-end restaurant, I wanted to enjoy a high-quality steak prepared perfectly with outstanding texture and taste. That was not the case here. The steak was a bit tough and chewy. I have returned a steak a few times but never twice at the same place. Doesn't the cook know when the steak is prepared as ordered? To order a steak at Texas Roadhouse means you will get exactly what you ordered with a very high 90 plus percent of the time. Not one person stopped by my table to ask how everything was going or how I was. Every place else I have visited at least the server will ask. Wasn't there a manager making rounds checking on their restaurant? This place showed me they just don't care about people or only the select people maybe. As a Veteran I don't ask for much, just treat me with dignity and respect. I remained calm and was trying to enjoy the meal. Yet at my age and sitting there by myself on my birthday the only thing I wanted was a fabulous meal. For a month prior to my birthday, I began looking for the restaurant I wanted to visit fo

Our friends ordered a wedge salad and we ordered calamari fries. My girlfriend wasn't crazy about the salad but it would be because she doesn't like pork belly. Our husband's loved it. Calamari was very tender and plentiful. I ordered the prime tip skewer with bell pepper and onions. Deliciously tender. My husband ordered the sliced steak that you cook on a 400° stone at your table and it was exceptional. Our friends ordered the meatballs that could be either in a red sauce or a mushroom gravy so they ordered both and my picky friend (her hubby) said one of the best meatballs he has had. The truffle fries were great. High compliments from him all night long. (From the chilled beer glasses that fit his bottle of beer for a perfect poor to the dessert. He was happy!) We ended with a butter cake that had a toasted marshmallow cream and ice cream and their Apple Cobbler. Both enough to share with 4-6 people. (He even praised the ice cream) The above is important but what also made our evening was how fun it was to be playful with our service team. We had Yuri and Krista and oh noooo I forgot to write down our busser's name. He was the best! But really, they all took such good care of us and of course the manager always stops by to check. We will definitely be coming back to happy hour more often, as we all found the dining experience one of the best happy hours around.

The first thing that stood out was the beautiful interior design. The space feels modern, stylish, and inviting, making it perfect for a date night or even a solo dining experience. The aesthetic bar area creates a great atmosphere, and while we chose to sit inside, they also have a lovely covered patio for those who prefer outdoor seating. The food and customer service were both excellent. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and every dish we ordered was enjoyable. We started with the Heart Attack, garlic edamame, and shrimp tempura appetizers. The garlic edamame was especially memorable--I loved the addition of sesame oil, which added so much flavor and made it stand out from the typical version. To drink, we ordered green tea and a Sapporo on draft. The Sapporo was light, crisp, and airy--definitely something I would order again. For our main dishes, we enjoyed the Sensei Roll, the Screaming "O" Roll, and a nigiri plate from the happy hour menu. Everything was delicious, but the Screaming "O" Roll was the clear highlight of the meal and a must-order in my opinion. Between the beautiful ambiance, attentive service, generous portions, and flavorful food, Haru Sushi delivered a fantastic dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

Some of their specialty rolls are $50/roll!!! I repeat- FiIFTY American dollars per roll. I don't know that I've seen prices that high even in Scottsdale or Las Vegas. There's no reason that this casual sushi spot should be charging like they're off the coast of Japan in an elite cliffside restaurant. The food is very good, but it's not "I need to finance this meal", $50/roll good. Also.. I asked for the WiFi password (literally titled "Haru Sushi Guest") so I could work on my laptop if needed, just to be told they were not allowed to give out their WiFi password out to anyone (even the staff aren't allowed to use it). Kind of silly to be gatekeeping something as simple as WiFi in the year 2026. I would have loved to make this my new working lunch spot, but between the egregiously high prices and the WiFi witness protection program, I'll be skipping it next time.

We went there this week with two friends at the VIP dinner experience, and we really enjoyed it. We were well taken care of from the moment we arrived to the time we stumbled out after that food hangover! If you've never been, it's worth checking it out. You get options involving many items to dip in melted cheese, as well as various meats and vegetables to dip in hot broth options. You choose the type of cheese you want and then they put it in a pot for it to melt hence the name of their establishment. Each type of pot will come with dipping options. For instance, my cheese pot came with vegetables, bread, and nacho chips. For the soup, you choose one of their bases and then it will come with various options from beef, seafood, vegetables, and chicken. And lastly, the chocolate pot will come with fruits, and various snacks. My personal biggest issue is that a large majority of the dipping options are either average or below average quality. Basically, they just feel like things you would buy at an Albertsons. The best parts of this whole endeavor were the cheese and the chocolate. This is one of those places that really suffers from a plethora of choices but almost all of those choices are not of high quality especially when this whole thing cost me around $65. If you've never tried hot pot, I think this might be worth trying just for the novelty since most other hot pot places are just soup dishes and here you at least get cheese and chocolate but one can argue you can get great nachos and chocolate somewhere else. And finally, service was quite amiable but inattentive.
