It has been a couple of years since I stepped foot in the W Lake Mead store. I decided to try it again- what a mistake. Chicken still burnt like a briquet. Now I have a horrid burnt taste in my mouth. If you like burnt, dry, overcooked chicken then this is the place for you. I have not had any problems at two other locations. There is zero quality control at this place. I will never eat at this location again. They need to teach the cooking staff how to cook. Or better yet, fire all of the cooks and start over. I usually call ahead when I plan to get takeout to place my order so that it is ready by the time I arrive. Hubby and I came here in the evening on a Saturday. There was no line so we got to place our orders right away. We both ordered the two items plate. I got spicy teriyaki chicken and chicken katsu with Mac salad on the side. Hubby got teriyaki chicken and teriyaki salmon. The portions are HUGE. Our bag was so heavy when we took it home. I enjoyed my food very well. I was only able to finish half of my portions in one sitting, and I can definitely eat a lot. Hubby finished everything. He enjoyed the chicken but thought the salmon was just ok. We paid around $25 for both our dinners, but for the portions, I would say it's worth it. I had to stop what I was doing. What was I doing you might ask? Trying to chew this chicken breast with barbecue sauce that is definitely barbecue sauce and not the teriyaki sauce that I asked for. The veggies are terrible. The chicken is chewy. Vegetables again are terrible. How can you mess up preparing a vegetable? I cannot just eat this bowl of rice.
