My friend referred me to this restaurant, with my 18 months old baby i did uber eats order for delivery. I placed order at 7 pm and i waited until 8:45 pm, uber eats driver checked at-least 5 times with them but they did not even respond back. I called them but in vain (no one picked it up) . Finally i had to cancel my order at 9. Totally disgusted and had to place order at 9:15 pm and my family was so unhappy with it. If I can give 0 stars, I'd. The owner/manager didn't even acknowledge us being when we entered. There were barely 1 table and he said he only excepts reservations. I mean he did add that he was low on staff, but that would been communicated in better ways as well. He was really rude and just went into the kitchen and came out after 5 minutes and answered his phone directly instead of welcoming/acknowledging us. He again kept on talking on the phone for 5 more minutes and we had to ask him that if we can get a table for us. If you are busy or not have staff and do not except walk-ins, just mention that information on the internet/yelp/google. Thats what INTERNET is for - to share updates and information. On a positive note it is in a convenient location and has a nice ambiance inside. We also saw that they offer cooking classes which is very interesting for anyone looking to learn about different cuisines. The food we ordered was nothing but disappointing at outrageous prices, we certainly thought we have had much better tasting food at reasonable prices. The kadai paneer was extremely oily (didn't realize it would be this oily or would have chosen low oil version) and it had a sweetness to it which was odd. Ruby Ke Kitchen Se is probably the best North Indian restaurant in the Tri-State area. Yes, the food is better than Moti Mahal, Bhatti, Indian Accent, Tamarind, Awadh. It's leagues better than anything on Oak Tree Road. It is the only Indian restaurant that has made me feel that you can eat Indian food as tasty as the best in Delhi, outside India. Every dish tastes authentic because every dish is cooked separately. She does not cut corners and reuse curries. She doesn't even reuse the stuffing between the stuffed eggplant and stuffed karela (bitter gourd) because the stuffing is supposed to be different and it is. I picked up dinner to bring home for a Mother's Day dinner. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. We were lucky enough to get some Mother's Day specials. The Dahi Vada (Lentil balls in Yogurt) were light and delicious. I also had some rice pudding which I loved. The Dhaba Daal was a favorite..again very light and flavorful. We also got Goat Saag (among many other dishes) which was nice and tender. The breads were very good as well. Taste is typical to The central Madhya Pradesh, central region and more closer to Indore- food capital of central India. Reminded me of my childhood spent in the region. The food was so great! My friends and I wanted some vegan/ vegetarian take out options, so we chose to get Indian food. I, for one, am glad we did. We did have mixed reviews within the group, apparently the chicken tikka masala is not their best menu item. However, their masala ghobi aloo, dhaba daal, and their samosas!!! SO delicious. We also got their garlic naan, which was not bad. Their serving sizes are quite big, so none of us really finished our food. But that says a lot, because a couple of us can EAT. This place made me realize I've been going to the wrong places to eat Indian food. This place is also family owned, and you can sit in if you call. If you're short on time, this isn't the place to go. We were told it would take 30 minutes, but took around 40, but it was fine for us, since we weren't in a hurry.
