His nail salon is really nice! I'm in town for work and stopped in at 1pm, they had a happy hour from 10am-2pm for 10% off. If I lived here, this would be my regular nail salon. Used to love this place but stopped going when i repeatedly would experience infections and ingrown fingernails. The first time I thought maybe it was unrelated but it kept happening. I have choosen another salon and never experience those issues. They just arent sanitary. read more

Very sloppy polish job. Shapes of my toenails are different. My feet are dry and rough after leaving the place. The polish must have been old because an hour and a half after leaving it was still not dry and messed up. I will have to repaint them myself, so waste of time and money. It's sad because other than that the place is very clean, nicely decorated and the women were friendly. Wish I had had a better experience. read more

It is hard to find a nail salon that is consistent with quality,customer service and serve you beverages and snacks (fruit, cheese and crackers) at no extra cost. I have been with Ruby's four months now and they remain consistent with quality and service. They use bowl liners and a fresh sterilized package with each customer. Today was the test. My usual favorite, Kevin, was off. i went anyway and again their care and attention was on point. They offered the usual snacks. A few pennies extra both worth every dime. read more

Not being from the area and looking for a place to go late in a Saturday afternoon, I stumbled upon this place by accident. It is toes down the best pedicure I have ever had. The salon itself had a calm atmosphere, was clean, and the staff was extremely pleasant and accommodating. The technician (I wish I could remember her name!!) was friendly, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I got the deluxe organic pedicure. The hot wax was delightful and the hot stone massage felt incredible!! She did a fantastic job of getting my "winter feet" in summer form. The paint looks amazing nearly a week later and I've gotten a lot of compliments on how fresh it looks. The bonus shoulder/neck massage while my toes dried under than fan was the cherry on top. Ruby nails is a good place for regular manicures, but not for ombré nails. They made my nails look chunky and kept hurting me when filing the acrylic down with the nail tool. In addition, they charged $55 which was unfair because the results weren't as expected. Overall very nice people, and great services, but not the place to go for ombré nails. read more

Was looking for a new place in short pump. I was SO pleasantly surprised by this experience for a pedicure! Don't let this corner storefront location make you think this is a typical small nail place!! It's absolutely beautiful inside, high tech, new, & clean. WAY bigger than it looks! and FULLY staffed even mid-afternoon. I treat myself to a pedicure and when spending money like that I like to feel like I had a nice experience with someone who most importantly took their time. The gentleman who did my pedicure was very kind, offered me a menu to pick a drink and snack for free; then took his time shaping and making my toes look and feel great! When I checked out the other gentleman at the counter asked if I wanted to join their free rewards where you get coupons after a certain number of visits. They were so great! I got two shellac manis and two deluxe pedis at this salon. My first visit was excellent, Lily was my tech, and the man who seems to be some kind of manager was very friendly and talked me into a fruit plate and some dolled up water. My fingers and toes looked great, and I really liked Lily. My second visit couldn't have been more different. The same manager did not offer me any refreshments, one of the techs was wearing curler rolls on her hair, and I did not have Lily. The girl who did my nails put the shellac removal foils on my fingers for the entire pedi so I couldn't use my hands. My nails look much messier, and she didn't give me nearly as many color options as Lily did. My nail polish did not match what was on the sample. The icing on the cake was the same manager who got REALLY rude when I told him I had forgotten cash for the tip and asked to put it on my card. I understand they prefer cash. It was an honest mistake. He did do it for me, but got really snarky and stormed off muttering, "Next time make sure you bring cash." No thank you, nothing. Well needless to say I won't be back. Does he also realize I could just....... NOT tip? Oh well. read more
