Went there because I saw an ad on Facebook for a special for Fri. and Sat. for 6 oz. sirloin and baked potato for $9.99 if the code was given. I gave it and was told they didn't have a code like that. When I pulled it up on my phone it was there but code and picture weren't big enough to prove it. (Didn't know how to enlarge it.) Server would get manager. Ordered it because I had a taste for it and felt sure I'd get the deal otherwise it would be false advertisement. Asked for the steak to have NO seasoning. They didn't have any baked potatoes ---at 4:30.on a Sat. Night! After a 30 plus wait it arrived with a very poor presentation of small portion of my 2nd choice broccoli. Steak was seasoned! Manager came over and told her about code. Nope. I should be a member of their club. Ad did NOT say anything about membership. Slow server that I had to ask and wait for water and bar drink. There is nothing positive I can write about my experience. I simply ordered a burger and fries online to pickup to-go. I arrive and park in one of the designated To-go parking spaces. I enter the side door and there is one customer being waited on, so I stand behind him to wait my turn. So there's the employee, the customer in front of me, then me all standing at the takeout door. After the customer in front of me places his order and then leaves, I step up and wait for the employee to come back. The restaurant was NOT full by any means, but I stood there waiting at least 5 minutes without anyone stopping. At one point I saw the takeout employee come out of the kitchen with a small plastic and place it on a cart labeled Carryout. She put the bag on the cart, avoided looking in my direction, then walk back into the kitchen. That's when my patience ended and I walked to the bar to be helped. After standing there for a few minutes someone finally came to help. I told her that I was picking up my takeout order. The bartender called the original employee that was at the door when I first arrived. I told her I was there for my takeout order, then she walked to the cart where it was, then handed it to me. She never said one word to me. I pride myself on tipping well and using cash, but this girl didn't deserve anything. In fact she should be fired. Not only does she have horrible customer service, her appearance shouldn't be that of someone serving food. As for the food. Unfortunately it tasted as bad as the service. read more

Restaurant wasn't busy. Waitress not very friendly, didn't even know her name; very quiet. Salad bar, needed attending too! Food came, fries under cooked. Philly hoagie sandwich very salt, and cheese was like a melted cheese pour over. The meat was also dried and over cooked. Waitress never took dirty salad plates or other plates. If a sauce was made on-site (it wasn't), how specific meals are, and whether the fries or tots were better. She gave us what we could clearly see were honest answers. We decided to stop here before we started our drive home to GR from the airport. Upon arriving, we noticed a line of people for the salad bar and were greeted promptly and taken to a table. We decided on the wings for an appetizer and while they tasted decent, it was a bit small to share and took awhile to arrive. For main courses we got the chicken salad and a burger with dirty rice. The salad was average and the chicken tenders were good. The burger looked good and my husband enjoyed it but his rice portion was lacking in size and flavor. My server was Eboni and she made me and my boyfriend laugh the entire time with all her stories. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Haven't been to a Ruby Tuesday in a long time but this was a good experience. Me & husband decided to visit this location because we never been before and because there are so few left now. They have a nice menu selection with plenty of healthy items which was nice to see and with their salad bar which I have always loved. Our server was pretty good even though he forgot to give me my water but the $5 top shelf margarita made up for it plus he seemed like he was struggling from a bad leg or some really uncomfortable shoes. Either way my steak was cooked really good and the shrimp I had were pretty tasty, my husband had a turkey burger and it was average. read more

If you live in the Canton area like I do, then you known how they like roll up the sidewalks after dark or 9:00 p.m., whichever comes first. You can imagine how frustrating it is to find a restaurant that stays open past midnight in this part of the Detroit Metro area. Thankfully, TGI Fridays is one such place that should be renamed TGTSO (Thank God Their Still Open) on Friday Nights. The service here could have been much better, even if my friend and I arrived just before last call. While it took forever for our food to arrive, I was even more dismayed when it took eons to have our drinks refilled, even though three of waitresses were standing around talking about their weekend plans. I mean let's face it, you need liquid refreshments to wash your food down with. I ordered the Grilled Chicken with Vegetables and rice. Since rice is one of my favorite staples in my diet, and after living in Asia for a while, I know good quality rice from bland, poorly prepared servings; thus, the rice I was served at the TGI Fridays in Canton really fell into the bland category. Not only was it over cooked, and soggy as well but the seasoning was more sparse than snowflakes in July. I hope the next time I go back the chef does a better job at preparing this side dish. Conversely, the chicken and the vegetables were very tasty. So if you find yourself out looking for an open restaurant on Friday night in the Canton area, then I highly recommend this establishment, as the atmosphere wasn't bad at all, and it's a fun place to spend time with your friends catching up on old times. read more

How this "restaurant" is still open is beyond me! There must've been one cook. One rookie cook. Despite slow and poor service, the meals were terrible--there was 15 of us, EVERY dish was overcooked! I ordered medium-rare and was served a dry old well-done burger; fries weren't bad, though. Same with all the other burgers at our table (and the salmon, steak, and chicken). Our app with guac consisted of maybe 20 chips. We ended up eating the remainder with our spoons. We did ask one of the servers for more but she must've forgot because she never did return. If I could give this rating a zero stars, I would! I don't see this place sticking around much longer. read more

When I lived in Canton, this was my local diner. We came by for old times' sake and because I had a coupon. Food was good, my sister ordered the salad bar, and I got a burger because I had a birthday coupon to use up. They offered a gluten free bun, which I tried, but won't have again. It was ok, but not memorable. The burger, however, was delicious! With great fries! The server reminded me that I get a free sundae as well as the free burger. My mother treated my boyfriend and me to a nice dinner out in Canton, and we chose Ruby Tuesday. We were seated right away and the restaurant was not crowded. It took a long time to get a drink order in. 2/3 of us ordered salad bar, we got our salads and came back to the table to realize there was no silverware anywhere. I want to say we had to ask twice and waited about 20 minutes to get forks to eat the salad (I guess there was a shortage of clean tableware?) and it took around 40 minutes overall for our food to show up. My mother's food was fine, my boyfriend's food was fine, but I ordered the largest mixed fajita plate with 12oz of chicken and 12oz of steak with hopes of having leftovers to eat at home. I got about half a chicken breast and about 6 strips of beef. I think they gave me the small combo instead of the large. Of course we paid for a large. Also, the cheese, sour cream and salsa they serve with this dish is the size of a tablespoon. Certainly not enough for 4+ fajitas. (shrug) read more

My group of 8 stopped in here on our way home after hours of shopping & we were ready to eat. They seemed unsure of what to do with 8 people at first, or maybe they were just bored because it was slow but 3 people approached us & asked how many while we were waiting. I was bummed that the Carolina chicken salad is no longer on the menu. I loved that salad! I ended up getting a chicken breast that was good but not worth the $13.50 price in my opinion. The best thing about our dinner was the waitstaff. I ordered the new Cajun Chicken Pasta and received a bowl of penne, plain chopped chicken, a few chopped tomatoes and green onion. There was no sauce and nothing Cajun about it. The waitress brought me some sauce, but it really didn't help the dish. I took three bites and decided it really wasn't worth the calories or carbs. Thankfully, she took it off my bill before I could even ask. My brothers ordered the Hickory Bourbon Chicken with mashed potatoes and broccoli and drinks. Their only complaint was that the chicken needed more sauce. I guess it was a minimal sauce night. I wish I had thought to take a picture as evidence of these criticisms. I love the wide variety of five dollar drinks. They are not weak or made with terribly cheap booze either. I like the Sauza gold margarita, the Long Island iced tea and the Bacardi mojito. We sit in the bar area tables and watch the TVs sometimes when we are in the mood for a light nosh with a drink and some apps, maybe a triple prime burger for the husband. It is never smoky but you can smoke in there. I like the ty phoon shrimp, the dumplings and the queso dip as apps. If I am in the mood for a meal I like the salad bar with the white chicken chili combo. I also like they have lighter low carb side options like the super tasty mashed cauliflower, sugar snap peas, asparagus and sauteed portabellas. They also have several dinners though that are dietician okayed and reasonably tasty, of them I like the chicken bella and New Orleans seafood best. I am not saying it is gourmet but it is reasonable, close to my house and it works in a pinch. Join the e club and get a freebie burger for your birthday to boot! And yep I am the type of girl who will eat low carb so I can manage to also have a drink. Shhhh don't tell my dietician. read more

Ruby Tuesday has really gone downhill over the years. The salad bar used to be THE thing to order. Now it's sort of Big Boy level quality. Since the salad bar is quite boring, I ordered the shrimp trio. Ugh. The grilled shrimp with fettuccini was ok - but seriously lacked some flavor. Their version of Bang Bang shrimp was spicy but missed the mark as the breading was soggy and fell off the shrimp (this does not occur with Bonefish). The third shrimp combo on the plate was standard fried shrimp which was horrible! The outside was a nice dark golden brown but not crispy. And I discovered that it is was not crispy or crunchy and the breading was not fully cooked through. The manager did offer to have a new batch cooked but I was so over it by then. Why two stars? I was given a free dessert for the issue and the manager did try to make it right by me. read more

We came here for the first time today and Nadia was our server. She is absolutely amazing, her service was spectacular her attitude was consistent with a smile. She handled herself and her section with a professionalism that is rare! We got the pleasure of meeting the manager as well, Ron, they both made our first experience absolutely delightful and we can not wait to come back and try more of their meals. The salad bar at this RT isn't up to par as the one on Michigan Ave in Saline. It was dirty, constantly needed to be filled and not much of a selection. Felt like there was a few items missing. One another visit a couple weeks later, I ordered the Creole catch. Touted to be about 350 calories. Total BS. The plate had a nice thick sheen of oil from the asparagus, and fish. Hard pressed to get a healthy meal here. Not terribly impressed. This visit was the second time we had a numb-skull of a waitress as well. read more

Hadn't been to this location in well over a year.My husband and I were very disappointed. We were very surprised that the endless salad bar was an additional $5.99. In the past you could always get it as a side with your entree. However with inflation we were understanding that restaurants have to raise prices. But the salad bar was not well stocked and missing several items. If we have to pay $5.99 you would think that it would be well maintained. We did not have a problem with our service, but overall the restaurant was dirty. We will not be returning. What a shame! It had always been one of our favorites. read more

What should have been a 45-60 minute experience turned into a disaster. We'll just jump right in. Took over an hour to get our food. About 40 minutes of waiting, the waiter told us the kitchen was backed up. Ok whatever. So food comes out (kids first followed by ours 10 minutes later), then not even 2 minutes (no exaggeration) a 7 top right behind us has theirs come out. They sat down 20 minutes after we ordered. So, backed up or forgot our order? But don't worry, the manager was quick to ask every table but ours how they were doing and was sure to tell one patron at the 7 top that theirs would be out shortly and offered a complimentary soup or salad bar for their trouble. Awesome. Then there's the salad bar. No dishes to be found for 5-10 minutes. Then when they finally did, every one was dirty. My wife finally wiped off the least dirty one after she waited so long for any of them. Then nothing was even filled. The staff was more worried about wiping the bar down rather than filling it up. Maybe scoping it out for what was needed, I don't know. But the second time up, 10 minutes later, same situation. Dirty wasn't just limited to the salad bar plates, the kids cup for his grapes was filthy but couldn't see that until he ate the grapes. Also my water cup was less than stellar. This is a complete 180 from our previous time dining there. Avoid this place @ 4:30 on a Sunday. Weekdays are ok I guess. I will put up with a lot stuff but to get me to the point to review, you seriously have to be downright awful. read more

Absolutely the worst dining experience I have ever had. Took 15 min to order drinks,bar drinks took another 20 and were wrong twice.The hostess nor the waitress brought us menus or silverware;we had to find the menus at the greeters station.finally after 40 min they took our order.Other party got multiple drinks and one couple arrived after we did ate and left.After.90 minutes we finally asked where's our food,was told another 7 to 10 min.They brought out the food but we had no silverware to eat it with.When we mentioned no coffee refills the waitress said very sarcastically she'd get it when she was done serving the food, then raised her voice and said don't get in my face totally embarrassing my party . Finally someone said you don't talk to customers like that.The waitress then left a manager completed serving the food.Not once did anyone apologize for the long delays or say they were sorry even after the waitresses outrageous behavior. Myself and my son decided on a late dinner and went to this location as it is close to the house, we arrived and went to the bar, our server/bar tender was very attentive. We arrived at around 8:50 pm or so got our drinks and ordered our food. 20 minutes pass....... no food, 30 minutes pass ....... no food but the bar tender tells us that our food should be up shortly. Well 35-40 minutes later still no food and another lady comes behind us and offers us the salad bar or soup, we decline and inform her we've already been waiting and just want to leave with the bill for our drinks. Then the lady states, should be up in 2 minutes and the entree's will be taken off our bill. I state you can pack it to go but still within 5 minutes she brings only the steak, potatoes and my zuccini without the fish and shrimp. Totally disappointed in the kitchen staff because mind you the time waited would of been ok IF the place was full but it was not, there was maybe 15-20 people at the most in there and we still couldn't get served in a timely manner!!! Sadly, I'm starting to think maybe this Ruby Tuesday isn't for me. We went in Memorial Day afternoon, and they maybe had 5-6 tables in the entire restaurant. Tony and I tried to put in our drink order- and the server tells him that the milk is "basically a kid size" and "you're not going to get a whole glass" so he opts for just water. I ordered a fruity non-alcoholic drink, which I assume is why our drinks take a while to come back. I put in my order for Chicken Bella, and say I'd like the zucchini as my side with the salad bar. Tony tries to order the spaghetti squash dinner he always orders, and the server asks, "So you want the Chicken Bella, too?" and there's confusion that ensues from there. Not sure if maybe the server is having a off day, but we chalk it up as whatever and head off to the salad bar. Our food takes a really long time to come out. A table who ordered after us (a party of 6) had all of their food delivered before us. The server brings out Tony's plate, but not mine. She mentions she forgot his side of marinara, and will come back with it. It probably takes about 5+ minutes for her to bring my chicken dish out, along with a very small side cup of marinara sauce (we're talking maybe an ounce or two) The server asks if everything looks okay, and Tony mentions that we're supposed to get the garlic biscuits with our meal. Now, this is the 3rd time that these were not brought out with our food, and the servers always seem flabbergasted that we ask for it. I'm starting to wonder if they only bring them out to tables if they're requested- which seems like a bad policy to me, because the menu boasts all over it about how the biscuits come with. The food tasted fine, I have no complaints about what comes out of the kitchen when it does arrive. Drink refills took a while- too long considering there wasn't really anyone in the store. When I go to cash out with the server, she brings my credit card back,and proceeds to apologize to me for the food taking so long. She says "I was triple triple sat and it makes things difficult when that happens" For me, it's surprising that she would bring this up- especially because I can see how many tables she has in the restaurant, and that she would wait until I was sitting by myself ready to sign my credit card slip to bring this up. I'm not sure if she just had too much fun the day before and was feeling a bit sluggish, but after 2 meh experiences at Ruby Tuesday when it comes to service, I'm not sure if we're going to make it back. read more

I have been here a few times in the past as it is close to my home. I have been here for drinks, food and the salad bar. This last visit was a rough night for RT. I had the Salmon with Bourbon sauce, Salad Bar and Onion rings(Just to ruin my healthy meal). The Salad bar ran out of plates but it happens. The salad bar was great and fresh as usual. The salmon left something to be desired. It tasted fishy and not real fresh. I have had it here before and it was great so it was an off night. The waitress was great! She asked if I wanted it replaced and the Manager even came over. They took it off my tab without even asking. Great service! It was appreciated. I was pleasantly surprised by this place! After a 5 hour drive from Chicago through an electrical storm, I was cranky and craving sashimi. We opted for convenience and ended up at Ruby Tuesday, which was my first time since I'm skeptical about chains. For 11 pm on a Friday, their salad bar was fresh and abundant, so I opted for the soup and salad combo, which was solid. I love salad bars and RT's is the only chain I've seen with one. My white chili was also very tasty. My guy got the steak and lobster mac. He said the steak was so-so, but his lobster mac actually had chunks of lobstery goodness in it. Their $5 drink menu is good too - my watermelon mojito was tasty (fresh sugarcane!), although it could have been a bit stronger. Our server was sweet and very attentive, even though we were her last customers of the night. read more
