I wanted to make a nice meal at home, but the Mr. insisted that we go out. He didn't want me to cook. I chose to try out Ruby Tuesday. From the outside it looked like a mad house, but I expected that. I proceeded to go inside because it will be crowed everywhere on Valentines. To my surprise it wasn't that bad. Most of the customers were seated close to the entrance it looked wild from outside. I didn't want to dine in. Therefore I helped myself over to the bar and ordered take out. I ordered hickory salmon, zucchini and mashed potatoes. No drink, I'm a water girl. Oh! I got an apple crumb pie...that was more for the Mr. I don't eat too many sweets anymore. The lady who took my order at the bar was nice. She smiled a lot and checked to see if I needed anything to drink while waiting. I looked around the restaurant while waiting on the order. I wondered why everyone was packed liked sardines in the front and there were so much seating near the back. Perhaps a lot of people left before I arrived. The empty tables were dirty and there were plenty of wait staff to clean the tables. There was food on the floor as well. Since I am an entrepreneur I know how important impressions are. I waited for my food for nearly 40 minutes. That was long enough for the tables and floor to be cleaned. I kept looking back from my seat, but no one ever cleaned the mess. The salad bar looked plentiful and appeared to be clean. I read the past complaints about it. I noticed some of the staff baby sitting that area quite a bit. That's great! We don't need cross contamination . I also like the fact it was well lit around the salad bar. Once I got home and opened my plate. The entree looked very succulent. I couldn't wait to dig in. It was awesome. The fish wasn't over or undercooked, the seasoning was perfect. The hickory sauce over the fish had a subtle flavor; The mash potatoes were great, and the spices were perfect. Thank goodness there weren't any butter drowning it out. They were nice and fluffy with a bit of texture. I'm a sucker for good veggies. My zucchini was tender, with light seasoning. They appeared to be grilled. I give my overall meal an A. However I had to go with three stars because cleanliness is imperative. It was my first impression of the place. I took a pinch of the dessert, but I didn't eat the ice cream. My stomach hates dairy. The apple crumb tasted like the crust of a pie. It was ok. It wasn't anything to write to granny from heaven about. However, keep in mind, I didn't have the ice cream and I have cut back on sweets. I will eat at Ruby Tuesday's again. However, I hope the restaurant is clean enough for me to eat in next time. read more

Ate lunch at this Ruby Tuesday location couple of weeks ago. The food was delicious and the waitress "Carolyn Dukes" was wonderful. That lady was born to serve. Not only does she give great service but she presents a caring and a happiness about her that made it a real pleasure to be at Ruby Tuesday's around her. Rock bottom! We have been going to this Ruby Tuesdays for years, because we live very close. We've watched the quality go down the tubes over the last year. Last night, we went once more, because we were hungry, and very tired. The experience just gets worse and worse. Usually we order the salad bar, knowing there will be problems. No one pays attention to the bar. Lettuce bin will be near empty, and at least 1 or 2 ingredients will be near empty. It's ridiculous how poorly it is managed. Last night, we ordered some fish, with zucchini and rice pilaf. The waiter informed us that they didn't have any rice made yet, and would we like an alternative side item. We both ordered mashed potatoes. He came back later and told us they only had 1 serving of zucchini, and would one of us like an alternative. I settled for broccoli. When dinner came, mine was missing the shrimp. He started to take it back, but I just said, just go get the shrimp. He never brought it. I just had to quietly laugh, it couldn't be much worse. I asked for the manager, and told her in as kind a voice as I could, that the restaurant had hit rock bottom, and listed all the things we had observed, over several trips. I indicated it was time for someone to step up, and fix it, and asked how long she had been the manager. She told me she had been there about a year, which coincides with the steep downturn of the restaurant. It became very clear to me at that point where the problem was. She took my meal off the bill, but that doesn't compensate for the poor quality of the staff. Just stay away. read more

Came here for business and decided to try this place out. The reviews were awful but so were alotta places in this area, but Ruby Tuesdays was a familiar name. So I thought "how bad could it be?" First, I wanna mention that the service was GREAT. Our server did her best and she was beyond friendly so I give an extra star just for her. She checked up on us multiple times-almost like she was waiting for us to say something or she was trying to make up for the food. Also the fries were fine. That was about it. Food: It was still pretty early so my friend and I got a lunch item and an app to share. We ordered the Parmesan Shrimp Pasta lunch combo w/ fries and the Shrimp Cheese Dip for a light early lunch. The pasta came out with very very little sauce and tiny little shrimps that had some shell on it... the pasta was not drained all the way so there was water on the bottom of the pasta. Ick. The fries were nice and hot. That's what I mainly ate. The dip was runny as well. It was almost like a soup and looked kinda oily or maybe that was water too. Maybe they just add water to everything? Lol The cheese was coagulating and looked lumpy and unappetizing. All in all, I was super disappointed. We spent $20 on mush and watery pasta. The reviews aren't overreacting. It was actually that bad. What's upsetting is that if the chef just took a little more care and a little more effort, the food wouldn't be bad at all. Draining the pasta isn't even time consuming. Making sure the shrimp shells are all peeled off isn't hard. As someone who worked in food all their life, it is frustrating to see someone not care about the product that they're selling. read more

I'm sure at one point this was a thriving business. It now appears to be on its last leg. I'm guessing management just doesn't care or they have no pride. The service is always subpar. The food is always sloppily plated. It seems like the restrooms set the tone for the business. In this case the floors are so dirty you slide on them. It just makes you cringe. My guy and I decided to visit this location for an after church lunch before we run errands. We were sat at a dirty booth. I asked the hostess for paper towels to clean the booths in which he was happy to allow me to clean. The waitress gave us a long list of items they did not have...okay, let's keep it simple and order a burger. She then brought out our food, paused, and then told me she had to take my plate back because she saw something she didn't like. She finally brought out a freshly cooked burger and explained we will not be charged. This was the blandest burger I've ever eaten. I'm not certain how one removes the flavor from bacon. I began to taste grease and looked at my burger which was oozing grease. My stomach has been messed up and I've been nauseas since 1:00 and it's not going on 6:30. I will never visit this place again. read more

My wife, child and I decided to stop in for dinner. It was late and there was literally only a couple of people in the restaurant. The hostess greeted us and took us to our seat. Once seated we waited 20 mins for service and got none. We watched the hostess walk by several times and watched a couple of waitresses clean around us and walk by us and yet not one stopped to ask if we had been helped. Finally We all go up and went to the salad bar. There was two cold plates and only one that was clean. There were several plates on the side that were dirty. My wife asked for clean plates and the hostess brought several plates that she had to look through to find a clean plate. We got our salad and sat down and ate. After I finished my salad, about 30 minutes after initially being seated, and my wife was finishing up hers the waitress came over and said she didn't know we were there and asked us what we wanted. Why she didn't know we were there is beyond me. I could see her the whole time. She was in a corner booth on her phone and talking to some guy who may or may not have worked there. We had direct eye contact and she surely saw us get our salad. By this time we had no intentions of ordering anything that we intended. There was no way I could eat after the poor service. My daughter did want an ice cream so we did order that. The waitress went to her station and typed it in and hollered that she wasn't charging us for the salads. She immediately brought the check, asked us not to leave a google review, and a few moments go by and she brought the ice cream. She went back to her corner and we finished and left. We will never return to Ruby Tuesday. 10 years ago it was a great place and the staff were great and the food was awesome. Their were awesome a wait to get in and people wanted to eat there. Now everyone I pass is empty. Now I understand why. The whole place should be fired. From the hostess to the waitresses. They all knew we were there and yet no one bothered to say anything. Lessons should be taught. You cannot ignore this behavior or it will continue. I will never be back. read more

I ordered shrimp scampi through Door Dash delivery. The order was fundamentally correct, but the scampi had a grand total of 3 shrimp. The sauce was good, and the pasta was cooked well. There was an over abundance of bell peppers, but the scarce presence of shrimp (and their lack of wanting to correct the matter) let's me know that I will never frequent that establishment again. read more

The ambiance at this location is lacking. Good music, dirty tables, dirty floor, wait staff in dirty shirts. The salad bar was trashed. Spring mix was brown. Romaine was nasty. Several/many containers needed to be refilled. We saw 2 employees go to the salad bar and NOT refill anything?? Our food was correct and hot. Waiter was not attentive and spoke with a horrible tone (we knew he didn't want to be there). We were disgusted by the online delivery ee's walking past us constantly instead of using the door with signage on it. No one behind the bar was over 25 and all on their phones. I wish I looked on here first for reviews. I have eaten at a couple of locations, Hapeville and Fayetteville are my go to, but I'll never come back here. First let me start by saying it wasn't my server(Dakota); he did everything to make our experience better. He is the reason I even gave one star. My family and I came in for lunch. We enjoy the salad bar. Today we ordered two (2/$24.99) meals, three 6oz steaks (2-medium, 1-medium rare) and one half rack of ribs. The steaks came out over done. While letting my server know the steaks were not made properly I regrettably acknowledge I didn't hear my son tell me it was something wrong with his ribs. When the second steaks came out one was still incorrect. I was hungry and was not sending anything back so I ate the part of the steak that was the temperature I asked for and my boyfriend gave me part of his. By this time my son had picked over the majority of his ribs and asked if his potatoes should look the way they do. Aaawww no they shouldn't. The person in charge of preparing them either had some that had sat out too long or they whipped them too much because they were stiff and wax looking. Going back to my sons ribs I finally tried them thinking he just picked over food. I had to apologize to my child. The ribs lacked seasoning and they were dry. Needless to say I was both upset at myself for not noticing earlier and pissed that our meal sucked. The only good food selection was the salad bar. The manager did come out and apologize for the over cooked steaks when we sent them back the first time. We didn't see him again after that. If you have gas in your car keep driving. Go somewhere else. Do not waste your time or money. read more

My favorite American chain restaurant -- and I'm not such a fan of chains -- is Ruby Tuesday. One main reason: I'm a sucker for salad bars. I've been to a bunch of Ruby Tuesdays throughout the U.S., and I'm impressed with their consistency. This one follows form, and our server, Phillip was friendly and efficient. Once I get past the salad and those surprisingly good garlic biscuits, I find the food average, at best. Though to be fair, the restaurant appeals to its target market. I usually get a piece of fish or grilled chicken, but this time I chose a hamburger -- a big, greasy fattening one topped with straw onions -- and I found it pretty darned good. The three of us shared a bottle of Gnarly Head Chardonnay, and we left the restaurant content and with full bellies. read more

Extremely varied experiences at this location. I have been there several times. Half of those times, the food was good (for chain food), and the service was good to very good. The other times, the food was sloppily prepared or not cooked correctly, and the service was very sluggish-to-bad, even when they're not busy. On my last experience, I ordered a crab cake with green beans, which I had ordered there before. The first time I got it, the crab cake was fresh, good sized, and the green beans were cooked perfectly. The next time, the crab cake was barely more than half the size of the time before, looked like it had been dropped, and the green beans were literally black on one side. Took forever for the waitress to check on us and when I showed the green beans she replaced them several minutes later with something that was apparently microwaved quickly (and still not cooked). I can say that the salad bar has been consistently good though, so I guess if you just want to go and get that you're safe. Otherwise, I'm not really sure what to say - it's a gamble and can be very good, or, very bad at this location. I'll average out to three stars (barely). read more

Me and my family wanted to try something new so we headed in to Ruby Tuesday in Dallas ga and my goodness was it amazing! I got the new chicken parmesean and its a 10/10. Very moist and delicous. Our servers name is Uniqe and she was so sweet! Cared about everything and seemed like she loves her job and was just so nice. My other family members rated their meals 10/10, cheese fries and a bacon cheese burger with onion rings! So great. 100% reccomend for people in Dallas ga! read more

HORRIBLE!!! My husband ordered chicken fajitas which the chicken came out completely raw. When we asked to speak to the manager the kitchen manager (Ty) came out and argued trying to say it was cooked. You could clearly see it was completely raw. We had to argue to get his chicken fajitas taken off our bill and he was not willing to compensate us in any other way. I highly recommend not eating at this establishment. To start with the lettice was noticeably brown...I mean slimy brown and not just a few leaves. I cannot believe it was not noticed by the employee who put it out. I don't know what's going on with this restaurant, but the wait time is extraordinary long. We put our name in and was told we'd be waiting 30 minutes. Ok fine. After 30 minutes, my husband asked how much longer only to be told we were forgotten. So we got seated and waited for over an hour for our order. They need new management desperately. We saw other people's orders going back to the kitchen left and right. I ordered a med-rare burger (warm red center) and it was ice cold in the center. The host seemed very disoriented. I thought something might be physically wrong with her. Overall it was just unacceptable. A very poorly run restaurant. My 19 year old son wanted to help them for Pete's sake! Anyway, don't waste your time and money here. Give them some months to hopefully restore a good reputation. read more

The lettuce was brown or yellow, take your pick. No "famous" fresh croutons left. My steak (medium), while having good flavor, was tough and tendon filled. Baked potato texture was deep fried. My wife and I have ate at this restaurant many times in the past. With our children at a sleepover, we decided to go there again this last Saturday. The restaurant appeared to be a lot more rundown and unkept than it was during our previous visits. We chose to sit at the bar which is what we always do when we do not have our kids with this. There was a large amount of trash that was left on the bar from previous patrons that had not been removed yet. After we sat down I gently slid the trash over to the right of me to make room for the both of us to be able to sit.at the table unobstructed. The bartender was less than attentive but eventually greeted us and took our drink order. We had to inform him about 15 minutes later that we were interested in ordering food as well. After taking our food order the bartender did not supply us with any utensils or napkins so we had to go get them ourselves. The plates and utensils were dirty and disgusting. My wife ordered a Long Beach which is similar to a Long Island and was informed that some of the liquors weren't available to make the drink. I ordered the triple play and was informed that the restaurant was out of chicken tenders. We were surprised that the restaurant would be out of such basic items. What really bothered us was that the trash on the bar remained and wasn't removed the whole time that we were there. It will be a while before we go back if we ever do again. I don't know if the management has changed or the original owner is having financial difficulties but something is going on at the Dallas location and it isn't good. read more

Had lunch at Ruby Tuesday. Previous visits south of Atlanta and just west of Atlanta were a huge disappointment. Glad I ate at RT's in Dallas. The shrimp fondue was delicious.
