Stayed in the same hotel as I previously did, so RT is a convenient walk. This time, I was determined to find something that was good or better. They do have an interesting and diverse rotation of beers, which is nice. Night 1 - Ordered St. Louis style ribs and a simple side salad because I didn't want fries and a salad bar. Instead, I got baby back ribs cooked generically with some sweet hickory glaze pour over them. I think they need a better base flavor and less reliance on the sauce. Night 2 - Scallops and shrimp with broccoli and rice. I asked the server, please make sure they don't overcook the scallops. Upon delivery, it was difficult to cut the scallops with a fork. Seasoning was pretty good for chewy seafood. Broccoli and rice were - okay. Night 3 - Had a steak, rare, with a loaded baked potato and the salad bar. Salad bar was much better this trip. Yay! The steak had a great sear on it for actually arriving rare for such a thin slice. Loaded potato, should have skipped that and just loaded it from the salad bar. The only difference for $2 up-charge is green onions. Again, it was just okay. read more

We appreciated finding a Ruby Tuesday in Gillette, WY on a recent road trip. I ordered the Endless Garden Bar and my husband tried the Steak Ramen Noodle Bowl. Both were very good and hit the spot. There were a lot of vegetables in his Ramen Bowl and he said he would order it again. He's all about protein so it was nice to see him devour all the vegetables as well as the steak and noodles. I compiled a salad of my favorite Garden Bar items and then went back for 2nds on their broccoli salad and pumpernickel croutons. We walked in an hour before closing but our server was pleasant and did not rush us. Being near the end of the day it was less busy but the booth we were in felt cozy and we were able to slow down after a day's driving. They should wipe the dust off the pendant lights hanging over the tables as the rest of the room we were in appeared clean. read more

It seems RT's has kinda ran its course and would not be shocked if it went the way of many others over the past few years. Pretty ridiculous experience. My young son ate four grapes off my all-you-can-eat salad bar plate, and they charged me for a full kids salad bar because of it. Four grapes. I am sorry, I am going to share when he asks if he can have some grapes. The waitress said nothing to us, just added the extra charge. . I understand rules, but lack of customer service using any communication and with any understanding with how toddler works will make it so I wont be back. read more

This was more of a sports bar than a typical Ruby Tuesday restaurant. I was not impressed with their salad bar and don't recommend it to those who are gluten free, vegetarian, or vegan. There was a ridiculous amount of cross contact and messiness - pasta pieces in the salads, bits of ham in the olives, and errant stuff where it shouldn't be. Every thing seemed to have mayonnaise or meat in it. I was disappointed they cooked the veggie rice in chicken stock. Why?! A manager stopped by and asked if we were going okay and I mentioned these issues to her. She looked like a deer caught in the headlights and then said, "fair enough." We will never come back here. My 4 year old had to argue with the server when my "allergy free" burger was served with cheese and to "fix" this they pulled the cheese off and flipped the patty over. A dairy allergy can't be corrected this way. Lazy responses don't fix allergies. I did t choose this, you don't get to half ass the fix anymore than I do. Nobody was striving... they did not care. I never leave negative reviews, but after the awful experience I had at Ruby Tuesday here goes Our server Allison was terrible. The only time we saw her is when she took our order and brought our drinks. Food arrived, delivered by someone else. I ordered a Philly with no mushrooms, it arrived covered with mushrooms. Allison never once came back to our table to check on us in over 40 minutes. My sandwhich sat at the edge of the table waiting to be sent back but no one came. Our server Alison did wait on the 2 booths right next to us and as soon as she made eye contact with us she went the other way. At this point it was evident she knew she had forgotten our table and must have just decided to abandon ship. I went up to the bar myself and had our lemonades refilled since Allison was not wanting to wait on our table. The other 2 in our party finished their meals while my mushroom covered sandwich sat untouched at the end of the table waiting patiently to be taken back, but still.... No server. When she finally came her response was " I've been really busy, was there something wrong". It had been over 40 minutes at that point and she had waited and checked on the table right next to us 3 times that we counted. It was evident she was avoiding our table. She never offered to take off the Philly that I never touched I had to ask to have that taken off. No apology, nothing. She just said " I was busy" there's no excuse for such neglectful service. I would not recommend this location to anyone. If you're looking for a meal with decent service, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Terrible experience! read more

I recently visited this place and had a pretty disappointing experience, mainly because of our server, Alison. From the moment we sat down, we felt like we were ignored and dismissed. When she took our order she disappeared for about an hour and only came back when we were paying. One of my party mates had her order messed up after perfectly specifying that she didn't want mushrooms. After waiting for Alison for almost 50 minutes to get a new sandwich and get our free refills. Which we ended up getting ourselves at the bar. Alison finally came back to give us our check and didn't even ask if we wanted dessert. Which we did. We tried to get her attention multiple times, but it was like she was avoiding us. The food took forever to arrive. It's a shame because the atmosphere was nice, but Alison's lack of service really ruined our night. I hope they can improve their staff training, or at least find someone who cares about their customers. read more

I Marvin arrived to this fine establishment I was pleasantly satisfied to see this exquisite interior and exterior, however as I started to dine on my fine sliver of meat but as I began to eat this specimen of a grape I saw had black mold growing on it. As the server brought some water it tasted rather stale . As I arose to use the washroom I saw an insect utterly prettifying crawling on the floor . I almost regurgitated on the spot . Should have learned from the last time I visited a store in this chain. Didn't want deep fried but not too many choices. Decided to have a beef quesadilla. First taste without the trimmings was very dry. Added sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and jalapeños. A little bit better but nothing to write home about. read more

I went to Ruby Tuesday's for lunch break one day and the service was horrible I waited at the front desk for like 30 minutes. Then someone finally came I got a table and sat down I waited and waited but no one came to my service. So I stood up and went to find someone when I found someone they finally took my order. I ordered a salad for the salad bar but your selection was very bare and there was not much there. By the time I was done my lunch brake has been over ten minutes ago. Larissa was our server, very friendly and attentive, we surly appreciated her. The manager dropped by, which was nice. We ordered and was pleased with how fast our meal arrived! My daughter ordered the boneless chicken nuggets (mild buffalo sauce) and a Caesar salad. She reported her meal was perfect! This was her first visit to an RT's (my wife's too). Deb ordered the spicy chicken pimento sandwich and sautéed squash. I had a bacon cheeseburger with a hickory bourbon sauce with sweet potato fries. I had good fresh coffee while my ladies had water but split a frozen margarita. I always enjoy RT's, but there isn't one back home in Midland anymore, and I no longer travel much. read more

The ribs were dry rub with a nasty spicy Asian bourbon sauce. Cook screwed up both burgers that were ordered, had to reorder. Have had SEVERAL people in Gillette say stay away from this restaurant. Ended up paying for drinks and leaving, couldn't eat the food. Ruby Tuesdays restaurants used to have awesome food - would not recommend going here. SUCH a disappointment! read more

However, I am a salad lover and Ruby Tuesday has a great salad bar EXCEPT for the ranch dressing which is clearly significantly watered down. Makes a mess of the whole salad. We stopped for dinner. What a mistake. Some reviews warned of bad service and some had good reviews for service. Our service was horrible. Our waitresss was Lil. We waited 15 minutes before she decided to come over to ask what we wanted to drink. We have gave her our drink and dinner order. She brought our drinks and did stop by to pick up salad bar plates once. We didn't see her again until I had to ask another waitress to bring us a to go box and our bill. She was standing 20feet from us at the waitress counter on her phone. The entire time. My margarita burger was ok. Not the best. My son ordered beef fajitas. A big pile or rice and cheese small sliced sirloin and a small portion of peppers and onion. He has enough to fill two small tortillas. Bad choice. My wife ordered Asiago chicken. It was not very good. My daughter ordered the soup and salad. Glad she was not very hungry. Not once did anyone ask if she wanted more soup. To say I was hungry is a bit of an understatement! On about 4 hours sleep I'd driven from Fort Collins to Gillette. All I'd had to eat all day was a Tigers Milk bar, a lemon Luna Bar, and a lukewarm sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit from a Kum & Go in Cheyenne. Exhausted and starving and not sure what I was hungry for I saw the Ruby Tuesday on my way into the hotel. I remembered liking the food at these restaurants but it had been years since I'd been to one as most of them in the Denver Metro and along the front range had closed. I thought I'd give it a try. I came in at about 6:30 on a Sunday night and sat at a high top in the bar. My server, Isidra, took my drink order. She came back shortly to let me know they were out of the IPA I was hoping and offered me a 2 for 1 on another tap ale. I thought I'd give it a try. When my beers arrived I placed my order for the hickory bourbon chicken with white rice and grilled zucchini. A few sips of my beer and my food was on the table! Now, like I said, to say I was hunrgy was an understatement but I'm still fairly critical of my food. There were two average sized breasts in a shiny dark brown sauce next to a pile of rice and a pile of what looked to be perfectly grilled slices of zucchini. It didn't look like anything special and I was starting to wonder if there was a good reason there were so few Ruby Tuesday's left in CO. It was too late to turn back without at least trying a bite or two so I cut a slice of one of the breasts, scooped it up with a bit of rice and shoveled it in the mouth. OH MY! Maybe I was more hungry than I thought but let me tell you, perfectly cooked, not raw and not chewy but moist and perfect with just a bit of char on the outside. And the hickory bourbon sauce!! If you love a good bourbon sauce with just a bit of peppery bite this is the stuff! The grilled zucchini was brilliant and blew me away! I mixed it all together with the white rice. I can't remember when a meal made me feel so good! The food was spot on and the service from Isidra was great. I followed it up with a pineapple upside down cake and went to the hotel and passed out feeling great. Maybe one day Ruby Tuesday will come back to the Fort Collins/Loveland/Greeley area. I ordered take-out at approximately 4:30 P.M. I ordered two burgers, the Smoke House and Jalapeño Queso medium well with French fries. The burgers were terrible. The lettuce and tomato were disgusting. They both looked like they were a day old at best. The bread was dry and cold. The burger was cooked well done. The french fries were cold from the get-go. When I walked in, the only visible staff was the bartender. Eventually, the manager and another wait staff appeared and loudly discussed some topics that involved a lot of profainty. The bartender was unfriendly and slow. I had to wait 15 mins to pay because she left the bar. I couldn't recommend this place at all. read more

The only reason I left a one instead of negative, is because the shrimp was cooked. They have a lousy management at this restaurant. They were "not taking 100's and 50's because they can't pay the help at the end of the night. We still live in the United States where dollars are legal tender for debts. The manager threatened to call the police on me because I tried to pay with a $100 bill. Suffice to say I do not recommend wasting time or money on this rinky dink, poorly managed establishment. A short wait, very polite and ready to serve hostess's on a Friday night. Don't particularly care for the booths, very tight for larger folks. Waiter was polite but seemed rushed, didn't give us much time to look over the menu before he'd come back and ask for our orders. Cost is not horrible, what you'd expect from a chain restaurant. I ordered the petite sirloin, medium with zucchini and broccoli. The sirloin was perfect, and perfectly tender. Never had a small steak so tender. The zucchini was overcooked but tasty. The broccoli was undercooked but also tasty. I didn't have a single issue that would make me overly upset, and other than the small booth I had an enjoyable dinner with my family. Just perfect for Gillette. If you want something "different", go somewhere else. If you want something good and tasty and not different, I suggest coming here. read more
