The wife and I had a late dinner (8:30 or so)so we decided to go to the Windward Mall to eat at Ruby Tuesday ( Ayame's was crowded). We walk in and hardly anyone in but still took 5 minutes for someone to help us. The lady takes us all the way in the back and now we have to wait almost 10 minutes for our waitress. After she brings our drinks, we order our food. Wife had crab sandwich and I had a cheeseburger(medium well). Wait almost 20 minutes for our food to arrive. My wife liked her sandwich but my cheeseburger (rare). I didn't want to eat any longer so waitress brings our bill. She charged me a salad bar that I didn't even go to. Couldn't wait to get out of there. If you decide to go to Kaneohe to eat, take your chances next door at IHOP. read more

Ok. I really do like Ruby Tuesdays. They offer an amazing salad bar (I get a plate or five... of just croutons). They have great chicken buffalo sliders. And they have amazing waffles!!! Our of the 12 restaurants I have tried just for waffles... they are #2 on my list. Coming in 2nd to Zippy's but beating out IHOP as my #3. The staff has always been nice and polite. Had lunch here and ordered the petite fillet and lobster tail. The cook really nailed it. My fillet came out as ordered Med. Rare and had lots of flavor the lobster tail though small was cooked just right and was moist and flavorful. The asparagus was done aldente, the broccoli needed help but all things considered a great meal. The waiter was on point and checked in on me 3 times to ask if I needed anything and how the food was. The service is far better than I have had at much more expensive restaurants. If great service and good food is what you are after this is a great place to check out. read more

The pasta dishes are terrible to say the least. i would suggest for them to FILL the dish up, after all, it's only pasta. Normally, I steer clear of mid-level national chain restaurants and to be clear it was not my choice to go here. My wife's aunt wanted to take me to lunch and due to weather and being in the mall it made sense. So we, party of six adults and two children (one and four) walked in without a reservation. The host was clueless and had no experience in how to offer customer service, in fact he seemed annoyed that we would come and bother him at work. So why five stars still? It is simple, once the clueless host was dispatched our server Travis turned it all around. He was articulated, explained the menu and the options clearly and dealt with my wife's very indecisive family with great care. In short, he easily could be running his own place and I would be a constant regular. Travis also did something that I have not seen in a very long time. He refilled soda and ice teas without having to ask. He kept the table running smoothly and is a master at his craft. He also engaged us all and gave suggestions for the menu. Here is where I praise the cooks. The Potato Blue Cheese app was the darling of the menu. My burger was cooked to my exact specifications, even down to the warmed but not cooked onion. If you are going to eat here... Ask for Travis and get that potato app. read more

Saturday night, August 12. Usually I don't like coming to Ruby Tuesday because the food quality doesn't match the price in my opinion. But yesterday we came around 8-930ish and everything was great. We ordered the hickory pork chop, top sirloin, spinach artichoke, and this new appetizer that wasn't great at all. But everything else was fantastic. Also, whoever was the girl that was working the bar last night was on point as well. She made great and consistent tasting apple Martini's with caramel. Our waiter was very nice and friendly checking up on and us and clearing our tables of our empty drinks very quickly. Will be coming again after this visit. read more

This Ruby Tuesday is located in Windward Mall in Kaneohe, in the Macy's wing. I always knew that there was a Ruby Tuesday here, but dined in by accident. It was the night of my husband's birthday and we were actually gonna eat dinner with my cousins at BWW because he was craving wings. Due to the fact that the hostess there screwed up on where they were gonna seat us, the wait was getting way too long. With my cousin's girlfriend who's pregnant and all our kids getting hungry, we had to think of alternatives for dinner. I ventured right across of BWW to Ruby Tuesday to ask how long the wait would be for 13 people because everyone was already getting hungry. The guy at the host station looked at me with big eyes when I told him the amount of people in our party. But then a girl came by telling me that they had a big party in the back that has been camping out there for 3 hours and that they could clear them out, so they could seat us if we wanted. I then learned that she was their manager as she walked away to notify that party to leave. She told me that we could check at BWW to see how much longer the wait would be of us, and that she could get the table ready for us if we decided to go there instead. I walked back to where my family was waiting to let them know what they said to me, and while we were down to the deciding factor on whether to dine at BWW or Ruby Tuesday, the manager (who's name is Nikki) walked to us to let us know that they cleared up the tables and had it ready if we wanted to eat there instead. My husband felt bad for everyone, so we ended up going to Ruby Tuesday. Our server, Paul was FLAWLESS. Having to deal with our big party all on his own, with no mistakes blew me away. Not once did he have a salty look on his face or tone in his voice. He always checked up on us to make sure that we were satisfied, refilling all of our drinks without having to ask. His service along with Nikki's was all what made our dining experience worth remembering and this 5 star review. I like it here and have never had a really bad experience as mentioned on some of the reviews. I have to start off by saying that our server was GREAT! We tried the Bulgogi Fries and it was something different and interesting. Suggest to have the sriracha on the side - in case you find it too overpowering. The salad bar is decent too. I like that they are coming out with new dishes to create a different experience but I do wish that they would do some "local" specials. read more

My entire family got a stomach bug after eating here. We've tried Ruby Tuesdays a few times and haven't been impressed at all. Save your money, go elsewhere. I am happy to say I did not experience any of the negative reviews posted about their terrible or mediocre food and service which is why I'm going to share my experience!... I ordered the Chicken Stacker with mashed potatoes and sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The chef did put a shake or two too much salt for my liking, but I couldn't help but to enjoy it still and wonder why there are so many negative reviews about their terrible food! Maybe I scored the only delicious dish on the menu!? Whatever the reason I came here knowing they only had a 2 1/2 star rating because of a gift card I received and wanted to use. The salad bar at this location sucks. Sorry, had to be said. Given it a few chances, but this last visit was lame-o's. There was no spinach greens at the salad bar. I waited.... nothing. I mean, it's called a "salad bar" but there was no spinach salad. Whuuut?!?! I was confused. Gotta give them credit though. Salad station was clean looking, and the items that were there seemed fresh. Mind you, WERE THERE. Quality is definitely not as important to this Ruby Tuesday's anymore. They were a pretty descent choice for a nice lunch or dinner but I no longer enjoy over-priced salad bar and no happy hour on Tuesday's. Wasn't that their saving grace? This was our lunch choice a few Tuesday's ago and to my dismay, they got rid of the happy hour and other specials to offer a steak and lobster meal instead. I don't know about you, but I don't go to RT's for lobster... Opted for a burger with green beans which was good, same as always, BF got a burger with fries and a beer and we had a spinach artichoke appetizer. For like $40, this was not the lunch I had envisioned. Next time I'll stick to the pretty food court and get myself a less than $10 lunch. read more

Ruby Tuesday, Windward Mall is absolutely delis! artichoke dip w/the multi-colored tortilla for starters were yum! I had the Artisian Burger with fries with "the works" it was amazing! The works burger was amazing with swiss cheese, mushrooms, lettuce, tomatoes, and onions...Wally had the turkey burger with avocado....the spices in that burger was very tasty, especially with the bacon that was in their, yum! mahalo RT! I've tried to call and order curbside pick up several times, they put me on hold to make an order, and no one picks up. Makes no sense. I called back a 2nd time and was put on hold again with no answer. I completely understand being busy, but the phone hold doesn't give you any idea of what the wait time will be. This is actually my 2nd time this has happened, but the first time the phone was answered right away the 2nd time I called. Ate lunch here on April 17th, 2016. Ordered a hamburger with onion rings, and my wife had chicken wings, and a side of steamed rice. The rice was explained beforehand as consisting of two scoops of steamed white rice--the Hawaiian plate lunch standard serving. What came out of the kitchen was only one scoop, for $3.99. What made this misrepresentation so disappointing was the waitress tried to explain it was two scoops, served one on top of the other! I'm sorry, but the difference between one and two scoops of steamed rice is not a highly technical analysis. Needless to say, we refused to pay for it. The rest of the meal was ok, and the waitress was generally friendly, so this was highly strange to us. We will never return to a Ruby Tuesday's again. The worst dining experience while on vacation. Not friendly and the staff could not tell me what the happy hour specials were. They were being updated. Finally they asked the kitchen what they were and they ended at 6pm. It was 6:03pm and unavailable to us. When my grilled chicken sandwich came out it was a ground turkey burger but the lady insisted it was my grilled chicken sandwich. Finally the waiter took it away saying it was the wrong burger. We come here for the salad bar. They have a limited lunch menu (you can order any time) where the salad bar is included. It's $11.99 for just the ayce salad bar or $12.99 for a lunch entree with the ayce salad bar. So I always opt to pay $1 more, have all the salad I can eat and then take the entree home for lunch the next day. For $13.00 getting two meals out if it isn't too bad. Or you can order anything else off the menu (including appetizers) and add the salad bar on for $5 or $6. The salad bar isn't huge. Three kinds of lettuce, about a dozen toppings (egg, carrots, beets, peas, soybeans, bacon, broccoli, whole mushrooms, grape tomatoes, croutons, cranberries), maybe six kinds of dressing and a few salads like pasta salad, potato salad, broccoli salad and green bean and tomato salad. But the veggies are fresh and nice salad bars are kind of hard to come by over here. [HINT: Don't go at the end of the night for the salad bar! They aren't very good about refilling the salad bar at the end of the night.] The entrees are so-so. The kind of food that isn't bad, but that you forget about as soon as you walk out the door. Fattening, a little bland and over-priced for what you get. I don't think we would eat here if it weren't for the salad bar. The waitress Kalinda in the bar area is AWESOME! Super friendly, great service. We've eaten here three times and she's remembered us from our very first visit. So me and my bf earlier today just finished some of our shopping and we were getting hungry. So we came here, there was no wait for us to get a table. We sat at our table and all I can say is that I never want to come to this Ruby Tuesday's again !! Our waitress was nice but she had a very bad attitude and some of the things that came outa her mouth was ridiculous...... So I ordered a bourbon salmon with rice and steamed broccoli (which btw was freaking wonderful) and my bf ordered ribs and southern chicken tenders with rice, we also had a four way sampler appetizer. So our sampler came out, the waitress gave us plates but no utensils. But I didn't say anything because we really didn't need it due to it being all finger food. So when our meals came out another guy came with our plates (btw still no utensils) and my order was correct but my bf's one wasn't. only had the chicken and no ribs. So we told them that we ordered the ribs with it as well not just the chicken. I seen the guy walk up to our waitress and I seen her shake her head more then once. So she comes up to us didn't even say sorry or sound apologetic. She just came right out and told us "I thought you ordered just the chicken, I didn't her you say ribs" but we told her we did, and once again she said "oh well I thought you said chicken not the ribs, I swear you said just chicken." I was so blown away but her attitude, her gestures that I couldn't even look at her anymore. I asked her for my utensils and she said " I thought I gave you guys some? If you have a shellfish allergy, do NOT eat here. I went here with my husband and our 2 year old daughter. Hubby could order whatever he wanted. I however could only order a salad because everything is fried in the same vat of oil as their shrimp. So neither myself or our daughter could eat anything fried. Will never be back here. Ruby Tuesday as a chain, pretty good idea. This particular Ruby Tuesday at Windward Mall, not so much. Though there are a few good things about this location, they mostly have to do with the fact that the Ruby Tuesday chain in general has medium to large portion sizes for fairly cheap to moderate prices. I have come here several times with my family and most of the time when we leave, we wonder why we even came back. To start with, the service is slow. The seating is not entirely uncomfortable, but the most recent time I was there, we were seated next to a family whose kids were playing with their food and screaming and although children screaming is a rare occurrence, while inside, people generally have a PROBLEM CONTROLLING THE VOLUME OF THEIR VOICE, which usually makes it quite noisy. Finally, my favorite part of almost any Ruby Tuesday meal is the salad bar. The two recent times I've been there have somewhat changed that. The most recent time I was there, the salad bar was missing both Romaine and what ever their silly assorted lettuce is. I ended up taking just spinach leaves and picking through the remnants of a salad bar trying to figure out what really goes best with just spinach. Previous to this last time, the Romaine lettuce was brown around the outside, definitely problematic. Although these past few times have left me disappointed, I have had some moderately okay experiences here in the past. read more

I can't really give Ruby Tuesday's an honest 4 star review based on the food, but I'm obligated to give them at least a 4 star rating because they have continued to serve us whenever we go there with a group of my husbands friends and they decide it mustache night. Yes, my friends, I'm one of those. If you've ever been lucky enough to encounter the group of about 10 dudes (all obviously Marines) and one little lady (me), all sporting stick-on mustaches and horrible accents...consider yourself one of the chosen! The staff has the remarkable ability to keep a straight face while one by one we order going from a cowboy, to a sherlock holmes, to some kind of asian accent...I don't know how they do it! So, even though everything else about your restaurant screams mediocre, I can't read your poker face, and you get 4 stars! The salad bar available here is a thing of beauty. All you can eat and it goes on for days, but it is kinda pricey. I can't remember the cost off the top of my head, but it was high enough that I have been deterred from getting it again. Nothing special or notable about the food. Ranging from burgers, to steaks, to seafood, it's all pretty generic. They did have some drink specials on beers, $2 Tuesdays, but seeing as I'm not a beer drinker, that didn't really help me out. All in all, if you're in the mall and you're looking for a sit-down place, I think there are more plentiful options. But if you're with a bunch of rowdy boys wanting to sport facial hair the military doesn't allow them to grow, this is your go-to! read more
