I came in for their Monday special which includes a unlimited garden salad, single patty burger and choice of tots or fries. The salad bar was great. They have a variety of options to choose from. The single patty burger was mid, it definitely needed to be seasoned. It is also very small, so if you're hungry, you may want to try a larger entree. The first burger to come out had a hard bun, like it was nuked in the microwave. The waitress who attended to me, Ava, was apologetic and was able to fix that fast. They also had a soup of the day, which was green chile pozole, unfortunately, it was just nothing but soup and very little hominy. The atmosphere here was nice, they have TVs everywhere, so you have a variety of things to watch. My overall experience here was a 6 out of a 10. Ava is a great waitress and was attentive. In the future I will get another option off the menu, maybe something that's not on the special. read more

2026 Reevaluation raises the dining experience to FOUR AND A QUARTER STARS...meaning quite good. Over the past ten years I had dined at Ruby Tuesday a couple times and came away less than impressed, but my opinion changed dramatically upon my June 2026 visit. A date and I dropped in for dinner and had a very nice dining experience. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance and is clean, orderly, and comfortable, a fine place for casual dining. Their menu is broad and well balanced with something to please everyone. Prices are reasonable. We found the restaurant well managed and the staff most pleasant and efficient. The service (particularly Natalie) was most eager to help and very personable. For dinner I ordered a combo plate with a thin 6 oz. ribeye steak, a half rack baby back ribs with their Texas rub on them, and crispy shrimp with fries. My date ordered the French Quarter chicken and shrimp which came over a bed of grilled onions and baby bella mushrooms. She also ordered a side of onion rings and she made use of the "garden bar" for her salad. My ribeye was cooked medium. It was nicely seasoned and not too fatty and had little connective tissue. The steak was tender and very tasty. I usually hesitate to order steaks in a restaurant that does not specialize in steak but this Ruby Tuesday steak was surprisingly good. I rate it around a "B." The baby back ribs were falling off the bone tender but perhaps a tad dry. They seemed to have a mesquite flavor and like the steak were quite tasty. Rate them a "B" also...for quite good if not exceptional. The crispy shrimp had a light crispy coating and with the cocktail sauce on the side were very good. Rate them between a "B+" and an "A-." The fries were on the thinner side and also good. Rate them a "B." My date said her fixings from the salad bar were fine. Her grilled shrimp were tasty and the chicken very good. The food was well seasoned and well prepared. Her onion rings were large and perfectly coated. The onions were mild but the overall ring was very good...not at all greasy. I sampled one of the onion rings and would judge the rings to be in the "B+" to "A-" range. These were upper level rings. All in all, there was nothing we experienced that was not good. The consistency of the food prep was high across the board. We came away feeling that we had just had an enjoyable dining experience with good service and food. Thus, I have raised the overall dining rating to FOUR AND A QUARTER STARS...meaning very good for a semi-casual restaurant. I will have to return more often. read more

Atmosphere was nice - lots of tvs, sports, etc. Drinks were good. 0 Stars - Food: Appetizer Trio - Chicken tenders tasted frozen, dried out, more crunchy hard batter than chicken. The steak - I'm not even sure you could call it a steak - was less than a 1/4" thick and tough. I ordered it medium, which considering the thickness of the steak would take about 30 seconds. I have been to most states in the United States. I have been to Ruby Tuesdays in most states rhat have them. I can say this one misses the mark by a long shot. Whoever is running this restaurant needs to be restrained. First, why take the ruby Tuesday menu and add local items to it? This shows that management doesn't feel or think locals will enjoy the standard menu. Secondly, Ruby Tuesday is known for burgers that are juicy and large portions. This Ruby Tuesday is far from that. There is no flavor in the burgers. They are small and the food comes out either cold or seems as though it was microwaved. Management needs to be retrained. I've been to Ruby Tuesdays a few times. The menu is typically similar to an Applebees but this Ruby Tuesdays had a few more options including steaks, seafood, and pasta dishes. I got the 2 for $25 meal with a cheeseburger entree and the hickory bourbon chicken. I also had the coconut shrimp appetizer. Everything was well prepared. The service was really good too. I have always liked Ruby Tuesday's every time I go to Las Cruces I stop in. Their salad bar is my favorite, but due to COVID-19 they can't serve it that way . But they have improvised since Cruces restaurants cannot have "dine in" yet, they are calling theirs "dine out". They have a large tent erected outside the restaurant overlooking the beautiful Las Cruces landscape. They have installed misters to keep you cool. There is a great breeze, and even though it was 2:00 in the afternoon-- it was comfortable. The food was good -as always! We tried their artichoke dip. I had grilled chicken (it was not dry) I didn't care for the sauce but that is due to my preference. The Mac and cheese side was fabulous! Baked in a small skillet like pan- just like grandma used to make from scratch with shell macaroni! My friend had a burger and said that it was cooked to perfection! E left with left overs. The waitress did-a good job they have it tough running around so far in the heat- tip well! They were setting up for a band, so they must have some music in the evening. Try it out! Both tenders were the same way. Complete waste of money! The shrimp, even though they were small and narrow, were good. The side of broccoli was unseasoned, therefore flavorless, but no big deal. The mashed potatoes looked dry and discolored. However, they had a wonderful taste and were moist. The fries were like any fries, at least they were fresh and not cooked in old grease. Bonus for that. The highlight was the salmon. A+. Great flavor, moist and not overcooked. Well. Its Ruby Tuesday. Basically exactly the same as if I were eating at the location in my hometown in Alabama. One distinct difference though is the service. I've stopped into this location on a few occasions and have had great service each time. Usually as a solo diner I get a little neglected compared to the larger parties but today my server was Nicky and she was phenomenal. I didnt want for anything! Where I'm from chains are the worst. Here i this town, this chain is a fun place to hang for sports. Very friendly staff and people are great. They have some specials during football season, but they need to offer a cheaper priced beer for me to return. Overall, good vibes just high prices. read more

The food was okay. The service was okay. What really turned me off were the cleaning practices. The person cleaning would use the broom to sweep the booth benches, and then use the broom to sweep the chair. So Unsanitary. We suggested, to our server, that they should get a whisk broom if they wanted to clean the benches. She replied that they usually followed up with a cleaning rag. But today, we not only got a burger half the size of 4 yrs ago, but we ordered the grilled zucchini on the side, and got exactly 5 medallions. That's almost $1.00 per skimpy medallion! A side of french fries? There were about 15. We asked for well done and the burger was medium rare. We used to always be able to rely on RT's being good, now it's just like... why bother... I'm definitely not coming back! The service was terrible and the food wasn't that good! Since we don't have a Ruby Tuesday in El Paso, my son kept asking me to bring him. We see the commercials on TV. He was even more excited to go because he got his hands on some coupons. I remember going many years ago when I was a student at New Mexico State. There was nobody to help people pick up their orders on the other side so... everyone was in one line to be seated or to pick up their orders. I never once saw the hostess with phone orders so I don't know what she was doing! It was annoying watching her go back and forth. Maybe she was telling the people in the back to get the phone orders? I'm not sure... She finally sat us down after around 15 minutes. I thought our waitress, Lupita would be alright but she wasn't. At first she was polite but after awhile she annoyed me. She took too long to bring our drink orders, take our orders and especially long to bring the food. She also took her sweet time bringing the check. My grandma finally told her we needed to leave and that's when they finally brought us the food. It took almost an HOUR to get our food! All I ordered was a bowl of shrimp pasta with a garden salad. My grandma got a chicken sandwich with a garden salad and my son got a cheeseburger with bacon and fries. What were they doing, killing the animals in the back? The place didn't seem as packed after some time passed. The salad wasn't good at all. It had rotten, wilted lettuce in it! The shrimp pasta was just OK. It tasted like it was out of the freezer and heated up, like those frozen dinners from the grocery store. My son and grandma liked their entrees. My grandma didn't like the salad either because of the rotten lettuce. My son didn't like the lemonade. It tasted watered down. They didn't accept the coupons because we ordered off the lunch menu. It sounded like Lupita was getting a bit of an attitude with us towards the end of the transaction. It was $30 and change for this. I told my grandma we should complain but we didn't. We just wanted to get out of there. Despite the bad service and not so good food, my grandma still tipped Lupita! It wasn't a huge tip or anything but it should've been $0. Terrible terrible here! Grrrreat drinks and happy hour! Sat at the bar for the sole purpose of consuming some adult kool-aid. Our bartender Katrina, was friendly and has great people skills. I am a fan of sangria and during happy hour it's only 4.00. She made them lip smackingly good. We grazed on chips and queso, tempura beans and " feety cent" wangs. We tore that up! Ok, so we decided to eat here for a late lunch. I was excited for the salad bar, so I ordered the soup and salad. I was disappointed the lettuce tasted packaged, the onions were translucent, bell peppers looked like they were freezer burned or just old, everything just didn't look as fresh as I would have liked. The soup was overly peppered, and I couldn't really taste the broccoli cheese. I am just bummed this place was disappointing. My boy had the burger, and it was good, and fries were tasty.
