It's sad to see how far this restaurant has declined over the years. I realize staff shortages are a problem all over, however the wait times to be seated, waited on and then served is outrageous. We had a negative experience a few months ago and decided to give them another chance last night. We won't be going back. The facilities are run down, the salad bar was a mess, and it just doesn't seem clean. The food was passable but not great and the service was again terribly slow, though the server was nice. BEWARE!! We just ordered three curbside meals from the North Augusta location because we're trying to stay in South Carolina since it's a MUCH less-infected state than Georgia. We were shocked to see that not only were any of the curbside servers NOT wearing masks, one of them was actually so arrogant that she was wearing a mask, but WAS WEARING IT *UNDER* HER CHIN! She stated "it doesn't do any good anyhow". We spoke with the manager on duty who told us multiple times that "it's not required so we're leaving it up to the employee". She also stated that even the food prep employees were not wearing masks. They quite obviously don't care about the perception of their customers. My wife, our son and I are all in a high-risk group for COVID-19, so we HAVE to be extra careful. We returned our food today and will not return even AFTER the pandemic. Went there for the salad bar, left in disgust of how atrocious the service was. We walked in at 1:40 pm, so not packed at all. They had 1 waitress for each side, and no hostess. We waited for about 5 mins then a waitress told us she would be right with us. Then she walked past us 3 more times. I went into the kitchen and told the cook we had been waiting for a while. He yelled across the kitchen to the salad bar maintainer, manager, and the waitress. They came out a minute later and asked what the problem was. The waitress says "I told you I would be right with you". My wife says yeah 5 mins ago. The waitress starts to rebuttal, stops herself, looks at the manager and says "I'll let you handle this". Then the manager makes excuses on why we had to wait so long. We finally get seated and waited another 4 mins before we were acknowledged by the other waitress. Once she acknowledged us, she was exceptional(Tracy). I ordered chicken carbonara. The noodles were rubbery and the breadstick was crunchy. My wife's Philly cheesesteak was subpar. We go there mainly for the salad bar, which did not disappoint today. Management, please do better. read more

Ha same old Ruby Tuesday in North Augusta. I go here once a year and its such a bad experience I wait another year before going again and we always say its not going to be great but lets try it again just to see. Normally the lady holds everyone in the lobby and the restaurant is empty. This time we were seated pretty quickly but were told there was a 20 minute wait for food. We said ok we would get the salad bar and wait - it would be fine. We got our food at about the 60 minute mark from ordering - which is terrible - inexcusable - this place should be out of business experience. I ordered the smokey mountain chicken - it was actually rather good. Would I come here again - probably not as there is always something going on with either seating or getting the food at a timely manner. This is the reason I am giving this restaurant 2 stars as the food was actually pretty good when I eventually got it. read more

Too tired to leave a long review BUT. Here's there gist of it. Food was good, a bit pricey. Our service was okay. She was great while at the table but didn't see her much. My brother got a baked potato instead of his broccoli. My mothers steak didn't have the cream sauce it was supposed to have on it. But all in all it was good. It did take forever to get the biscuits and our appetizer. The server was busy though she had 7 tables at once which I think was a little much for one person being a server in the past myself. But she had a great personality and can't beat their salad bar. Overall okay experience. read more

We had dinner last night, for our daughter's 7th birthday. We had a great experience! The greeter at the door was pleasant and found us seating immediately. Our server was very attentive and ensured that our orders were taken as soon as we were ready. She also gave our daughter allot of extra attention, as did the other servers, for her birthday. It was really nice. The food was hot, the salad bar was well stocked and everything tasted really good. The only thing that I would recommend, is better care of the floor near the salad bar. As people spill, it would be helpful if the area was swept/mopped on a more frequent basis. read more

Went there for friend's birthday and had to apologize for the food. We were seated quickly and food arrived quickly., actually too quick ribs were ice cold. Like they came out of refrigerator. Waitress was nice and apologize. brought out two new plates of food. Ribs were bland and looked half cooked. I was totally disappointed. I did tell waitress food did not taste good. Pleasant lunch . I have not been in years but enjoyed my visit today . Ordered the bourbon chicken with sautéed zucchini. Of course I had a trip to the salad bar which had 4 different greens to make your plate in smaller bowls to keep it fresh. Nice. I wish they had the German potato salad from Ruby's of years ago. The food was served a short time later. Wow it was hot! Not warming on your plate but actually like it was right off the grill. I had to pause a second before I bit into it. Really tasty bourbon glaze on the chicken breast and the zucchini was tastefully seasoned. I should not have but did it anyway and ordered the Key Lime cake for dessert. Wow again here. Overall very pleased with lunch and service. Definitely will return soon. read more

Could it be the manager wants this location to fail so she/he can take a severance pay? I have been here so many times and then took a break for about a year. When we arrived tonight, we sat in the dining area and were immediately regretful. Perhaps our server was new, regardless, it took 30 minutes or more to get our drinks. Then to get a refill? The typhoon shrimp were greasy with no sauce. The cheese sticks? Wow! Do not have a clue what that really was, it did not taste like cheese. Also, what cheese stick comes flat? The wings were good and the sauce that complimented the eggrolls was good. It's overpriced but that would be okay if the "carside" carry out was working (convenience) like other restaurants (nice if they brought it out oe at least had it ready at the door) or if you didn't have to tell about 5 people that you are here to pick up "Togo" order and have them point you to the bar. Stay away from the North Augusta, SC location. Horrible service! And the restaurant had many empty tables. Ordered our drinks and appetizers first, shortly after we were seated. I ordered a specific glass of red wine from their menu. She served a white wine. Wrong. When I tried to get the server to replace it with what I had actually ordered, she was totally clueless. And my husband ordered a Miller Lite. Waited about 20min before she finally explained that the Bud Light (???) keg needed replacing, and would he prefer a Miller Lite. Duh.......Then 15 minutes later, explained that the Miller Lite keg now needed replacing, but his beer would be served shortly. After a sum total 35 minute wait, he was finally served a room temperature beer. And our appetizers (pre-made deviled eggs and fried chicken bites, missing one of the two dipping sauces we'd requested) took about 40 minutes, as well. Food was good, but thank God we weren't in a hurry. But here's the reason I'm even writing this review: We both ordered a double chicken breast entree. Delicious. But..... Both plates arrived, but mine had just one breast. My husband's entree had both breasts. When I got the server's attention, she explained that I needed to specifically REQUEST two breasts, and said the other breast would be $2 extra. Unreal! I asked for the second breast and said the cost was not the issue, and my request was met with major eye roll, a sigh and attitude. That server was clearly annoyed with us for bringing HER (and the kitchen's) many mistakes to her attention. What the heck did I -- the paying customer who simply wanted what she'd originally ordered -- do to deserve that? She was wrong, not us. Amazing that a server does not know her employer's own food or beverage menu. Unbelievably unprofessional and unwarranted. Not my fault if you're having a bad day. We brought it to the manager's attention, but truly does not matter to us, as we will NEVER step foot in another Ruby Tuesday again. And hoping the North Augusta location institutes staff training. Do yourself a favor and don't go to this restaurant, this is my third time and my last time. The service was horrible the food was worse the timing ridiculous. Allow me to explain once we were seated our drink orders were taken and all the non alcohol drinks or brought within 10 minutes anything requiring alcohol took 30 minutes with the excuse given that the bar was backed up but from what we could see there were still plenty of seats available. When you go to dinner you expect all the food to come at one time or close so that you and your dinner party can eat together, our food was brought out in a staggered formation so that everybody had to watch somebody house eat and our order was sadly mixed up. Even though North Augusta does not have many restaurants to chose from, I do not come here that often because it consistently is not that good. I thought this time I would order off the burger menu because that's usually a safe choice but the burger tasted like it was frozen then pressed to make it cooked faster. Bun was also dry, a sign it was not fresh. Ordered a side of onion rings that were so bad it reminded me of frozen Ore Ida. The waitress was nice, but this restaurant's days are hopefully numbered. Went for lunch with two family member's and we all got the soup and salad. The salad was fine but the soup was cold, the waitress apologized and let us know that the manager was personally taking care of it. About five minutes later, the severs brought out the same bowls that had been reheated in the microwave. Who knows which bowl I got, but at least we got fresh spoons. Normally I have a pretty good experience at this ruby Tuesday's. Today not so good. The restaurant was practically empty and it still took a hour for my food. I ordered a Long Island ice tea while I waited which is usually fantastic. Today it was really watered down. I ordered the international trio and my shrimp scampi was dry with no scampi sauce. Finally the manager comes over to get my plate only to add the sauce where I was still left with sticky noodles. Horrible experience maybe my last time I'll eat here again. read more

Visited this restaurant for a quick lunch after shopping. I should've checked the reviews before choosing this restaurant. First, as my wife and I walked in, there was a pungent foul smell at the hostesses station next to the salad bar. Shrugged it off because the hostesses was VERY nice.Second, at our table, noticed the floor and window seal had food crumbs. Looked as if it was a rushed cleaning job. That puzzled me because the restaurant was not busy so maybe it was dirty from the night before. Third, waiter must have been having a bad morning because his attitude was very nonchalant and inattentive. When the waiter placed our bread on the table, it was old and hard.My wife's salad arrived it had croutons, she ordered it without croutons.
