Today, we just wanted to get out and go to diner. No kids, no parents, just us. We decided to go here because we really like the salad bar. We got there, greeted and sat right away. It wasn't that busy in there.. Started out right, feeling good about this. Waitress came out in couple of minutes and we ordered our food and just had water. Still looking good. We ordered the 2 for $24 meal with an extra salad bar. Still looking good. We went to the salad bar and as always, love their selection. Still looking good. Now, 25 minutes and we finished our 1st plate from the salad bar and still no food (hint, the 2 for 24 special comes with an appetizer). Ok, possibly short staffed so we go and get another helping at the salad bar. Now it has been about 45 minutes since we arrived and not a soul has checked in on us. We got the attention of our waitress and asked about our food and she said, "Who was your server?" We then looked at each other and then looked at her and we said you are. She never put our order in. We were going to have them give us the rest of the meal togo but then we were worried it would take another 20+ minutes so we just said that if we could get the bill for what we had. When the bill came, it was over $30. We both handle numbers all day and realizes it made no sense. We asked for a breakdown and we got charged for 2 salad bars @12.99 each instead of getting the 2 for 24 which includes salad bars and an appetizer that we never got and there were charges for cokes that we did not order. We were told that there was confusion with our table and others. The finally adjusted it and of still not what was advertised. Instead of 2 for 24, it came out to 2 for 25. I know it is a dollar and it was a struggle trying to get the other charge handled that we just wanted to pay and go. We were made to feel like they were doing us a favor by reducing our bill to what it should have been. I think we overpaid because we never got our appetizer. We always try to give the benefit of the doubt but when the server doesn't even realize that they took an order from you, that makes us not want to go there anymore. We know that this might not make a difference to a corporation like theirs but it effects us because we get very little alone time and we just wanted to spend a nice evening together. All we can do is laugh it off and try not to let it ruin the rest of our evening. When I called to ask about the particulars of the restaurant whether it's open for available dining inside or takeout and what time they close she had major attitude on the phone which almost made me not want to eat there I can understand it gets frustrating being called and asked the same thing over and over are you available to eat inside but what do you expect people are going to ask that until things go back to normal read more

Ruby Tuesday is my first favorite restaurant! The branch I used to go to & still does was walking distance from the apartment complex I used to live. And many years later, even after I bought my house, I still come back & it has never failed to satisfy me! From the falling off the bone baby back ribs, to their burgers which they also freely give me on my birthday to the great salad bar & unlimited (i hope its still unlimited) specialty juices/smoothies they make ( i love fruits), the food here is superb. Stopped in on a recent, rainy Saturday with my BOGO coupon. I like to do this as it gives me an easy second meal I can take home, refrigerate and enjoy a day or two later. I have done this twice in recent weeks. I also go to Ruby's to enjoy watching sports on their bar-area TV's. On the most recent visit, that was a BIG mistake as their reception apparently is quite poor during periods of inclement weather. The smokehouse burger and fries were great, the salad bar was terrific and well-stocked and very fresh; staff were wearing masks; the manager was present out front throughout my visit (which u don't see everywhere); everything pretty solid, but one problem: no life in the bar, no light-hearted chat among 3 bartenders! They made 0 effort to talk with me, to make me feel welcome, to make me feel part of the gang. Very poor approach; only words to me were to take my order and take my payment. Got to learn some people skills, ladies, and I was the ONLY guest at the bar and only 1 of about 5 guests in the entire bar area. Very sad. read more

Once again I was dragged here by family. They wanted to have the "awesome" shrimp and grits. First, our five folks were sat at a table too small for the two larger ones. Really? A booth? The service was horrible and I blame that on the person doing the seating. Others should have jumped in to help this waitress. Now the food. Salad bar is the saving grace. However the plates were hot out of the dishwasher - and this was at noon. They were almost too hot to hold. I had a chicken quesadilla with grilled onions, peppers and cheese. It would have been much better if the flour tortilla was grilled to a nice crisp instead of just a plain flour pasty thing. The shrimp and grits - the shrimp was chewy. The grits clumpy. The sauce would have been OK if there were more of it. These could not be considered food by any stretch of the imagination. The chicken sliders looked good. I did not taste them. 3 of us went. We got 3 salad bars each of us had a drink and we had the nachos and the 4 carrot cupcakes. It cost us $43.13 not including tip. I could of skipped the nachos and the carrot cupcakes were ok. I've had better. But the salad bar was nice. I would stop by again just for the salad bar. read more

We have stopped in here a few times, to catch their salad bar (best in town) and awesome sliders. Most recent visit caught a chicken sandwich with bacon, avocado, l&t, with mayo and mustard. I could eat this every day...delish! Companion had a saladbar with a 3 slider side. She chose balsamic drizzle tomato slices (yummm), stir fry zuccini with a drizzle (yummm), and mac n cheese ( yummm). I would be happy to have either again! read more

My normal favorite at Ruby Tuesday is the salad bar and French onion soup, so that's my go to meal for lunch. The virus has changed all of that of course. So, I was trying to get a friend and her family to meet me for lunch, but she was not comfortable with that. So I offered my house with curb side pick up, and that was a go. So I online ordered two rib meals, and a honey bourbon chicken meal, with 3 fries and three side salads. I was all ready for pick up on time as promised. Came home, mixed all the salads together into one bowl, threw the awesome fries into the oven for a few minutes to make sure they weren't soggy from riding in a styrofoam box, and we had ourselves an awesome buffet in no time. So it worked out great. Ribs and chicken were awesome. French fries were very good, and I normally don't even eat French fries. Served 4 people easily and everyone took leftovers home for another meal. I got this! Still missing my endless salad bar and onion soup, sigh. Someday read more

I have been here about six times in the last month working from out of town It's good, the manager is nice and it shows in the staff's attitude, very friendly. I am heading home for a while, I would make it a point to stop here if I was hungry, in proximity, and didn't just eat at another Ruby Tuesday's the day before.... I will be back. read more

Word of advice: expect to wait longer than usual if you sit in the area near the bar. Although the bartender handled the task of waiting tables, mixing drinks, and serving with grace and professionlism, the experience of having to wait to order and be checked on because she was stretched thin was a bit disappointing. She did make a small effort to see if my table needed anything but her multiple roles left me feeling guilty for wanting anything extra. However, the food was great! My casear salad went on a tour of the restaurant before my lil multi-tasker realized it was for my table. She literally passed me and doubled back so casually as if she hadn't fumbled that play. I took a chance on their deviled eggs for an appertizer which were oh so delish, and ordered some of the most tender ribs I have had in a while. The ribs came with butterfly shrimp, two small but good chicken tenders, and crispy fries. I had a taste for dessert, and had she mentioned it, I would've ordered. But before I could get my second refill on my Arnold Palmer, she was bringing the check (might I add I was dining with someone and she assumed we wanted the check together) I mean geesh, I still had meat on my bones! $5 Cauliflower side??!! Great service, Alyssa. Thank you. I travel daily with work and Ruby Tuesday is my regular corp stop due to the expansive and consistently fresh salad bar and soups. Deviated when I saw the grilled cauliflower side offered at $1.99 with meal. Been trying different cauliflower recipes lately. Alyssa informed me it was $3 without a regular meal entree, got the bill it was $5! HOLY CAULIFLOWER, NO WAY! However, Ryan, a manager was quick to recognize my cauliflower pain and insisted he remove it from my check. Not rambling about the cauliflower here... recognizing great customer service with a side note to Ruby Tuesday's powers that be; $5 is way too pricey for cauliflower! It was great though. read more

First time. Last time! My wife picked up a to go chicken sandwich for me and a turkey sandwich for her. Within hours, my stomach began to gurgle. Next morning I had diarrhea. I thought something might be not right about my sandwich, perhaps it was under cooked; and my wife did not finish her turkey sandwich. She left it in the refrigerator for our son. Overall, it just seems like Ruby Tuesday is a chain that just hasn't found its "thing;" there is nothing here that really jumps out at you as anything special or worthy of making it a favorite spot. The food and service I had were both satisfactory, especially the "Garden Bar" which can replace a side for a small upcharge. Yet, I still came away slightly dissatisfied. The menu has a range of cuisine from pasta to burgers and tacos, but nothing comes across as the highlight of the restaurants. I have had many great meals here and the one and only time there was an issue, the manager was unbelievably gracious and went above and beyond to make things right. Sad to see that the service quality has gone down. This used to be one of our favorite places to come eat but the last two times we've been here it's been disappointed. The servers aren't as attentive, they don't offer their appetizers like they used to, food is taking way too long to come out (40 minutes today) and the restaurant smells very humid and stuffy. Ruby Tuesday used to be terrible but they have revamped and upgraded their menu of late and it shows. I had a new item they added to their menu...the chicken trio...and it was incredible. Three pieces of chicken prepared three different ways served on a bed of rice pillaf. It came with 4 small cheddar type biscuits which were really good that had a spicy kick to them. Very tasty. Their salad bar is probably one of the best salad bars anywhere. read more

I don't write reviews but I thought this was an exception to the rule. I had stopped going to Ruby Tuesday's about 8 months ago for a variety of reasons, the restaurant was always so cold I had to eat with my coat on, the biscuits had gotten smaller, servers acted like they didn't want to be there, and the meal was just OK. This past Saturday 4/20/19 I thought I would give them another try.....what an experience, it was overwhelming.The waitstaff was friendly, the restaurant was comfortable, and last but not least the food was outstanding. MY server was AWOL, saw her when she brought my soda and took my order then never again, but my meal was outstanding, which made up for the server being AWOL. I wanted to find out who cooked my meal, it was Dave, so I decided he gets the $15.00 tip. Dave, I will keep coming back to Ruby Tuesdays as long as YOU can keep cooking my meals. Baby back ribs are supposed to be tender , fall off the bone and juicy. The ones I had today at Ruby Tuesdays were none of these. I had to cut mine apart with a knife and the meat was tough and chewy. They claim to slow cook the ribs for hours but mine tasted like they had sat out for hours and then reheated. He is a pleasure to deal with making sure that our party (20ish guest) had everything we needed. I worked at 3 different Ruby Tuesday on and off for 3 years in high school and college however I have not visited one for over 5 years. For an office get together the 10 of us decided to go to Ruby Tuesday here in Tallahassee. I had never been to this location. The server seemed frazzled and almost bothered by us being there. We were all drinking and having a good time. I felt like a nuisance every time I asked the server for something. I ordered a bacon cheese triple prime burger cooked medium it came out very well done it was actually crunchy. I'm not one to send things back but it was inedible and since I was paying $13 for a burger I sent it back. There were a few other issues at our table and the server seemed annoyed. No one was super thrilled about their food but we were still enjoying ourselves. My recook came out quickly and cooked correctly. Some of us ordered Togo food for their spouses and dessert. One person got broccoli with cheese as a side and there was literally 1 string of cheese on the broccoli. 2 others got dessert Togo they literally got a teaspoon of ice cream. We told the server we were ready for our check and again he seemed annoyed mentioning it would take a while since he had to split the checks. When I got the check I mentioned to my husband that I think I was charged one too many drinks but I had not planned on mentioning it to the server but I suppose he over heard me. In front of the entire table he called me out saying if there was a problem he would look into it but he rings in drinks as he goes. I was embarrassed and changed his 20% tip to 10%. My husband is a managing partner of a restaurant and I also work part time as a server. I've worked in many restaurants, retail, and customer service. You don't get an attitude with guests. The food issues were not the servers problem but he should have at least apologized or gotten a manager. With all the issues we did have I was surprised a manager never came to talk to us. I was very disappointed in Ruby Tuesday. A company I worked for at one time. I will not return to this location. I gave 2 stars only because the salad bar was good as always. read more

Food is overpriced and so-so, depends on what u get. Sliders, burgers & fries are good; salad bar is fresh and ample, but potato salad is always blah and bland, even if u try to season and add to it. Broc-cheese soup is good; many other items are way overspiced. I only go with coupons. read more
