Stopped in when my flight was delayed and what a great experience! Javareus was our server and was all smiles. He took great care of us. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was just what we needed to begin our day. The waffle was perfect and making it a combo was more than enough to satisfy. The wait staff works as a team. I was sitting in the back of the restaurant at a 2 top and loved watching the floor manager work with her crew! 5 stars for teamwork! We visited Sunday, March 1, 2026 We understand it was very busy but, the coffee cups should have been kept full during the long wait. When our food did arrive, my eggs were hard and cold. The Greek omelette was also cold. For my piece of french toast, I received a ball of cold butter. With the toast being warm at best, it didn't even pretend to melt. I usually speak up about stuff like this because I am a believer in the saying "you can't fix something if you don't know it is broken." We waited a shorter time than expected which was nice. Our server Conner was very kind despite the restaurant being extremely busy and chaotic. The eggs Benedict came out with 2 hard boiled eggs instead of 2 poached eggs. I didn't care to send them back since the restaurant was so backed up. The southwest omelette was good. The Florida pancakes were slightly undercooked but the fruit was fresh. They forgot the powdered sugar and the side for my eggs Benedict. Cheesy grits lacked flavor... not sure if that's just grits tho . The coffee was very basic tasting but I didn't have high expectations. I wouldn't recommend on the weekend since it was so busy that the service seemed to be lacking overall. Better to visit a local restaurant or First Watch if you want a quality brunch. read more

We've been to other good locations (Gainesville, Viera & Melbourne) and this one missed a step. First, our server was great. Taylor was super friendly and attentive. The food not up to par for our party of 7. First off the breakfasts came out over a span of 10 minutes. 2 at a time. Eggs Benedict were basically hard boiled and served last and not even hot. Most others were lukewarm except the pancakes which were hot and good. They delivered another of our plates to the wrong table, so had to remake that (understand it's busy) but when it finally came, it wasn't hot, just warm. Cheese grits were just warm too. I ordered the chicken fajita omelet w the home fries.. the server asked if I wanted fruit instead of the toast but never mentioned the 5.50 up charge. The menu read cheddar cheese on the omelet, but the inside tasted like queso. If it was white cheddar it was awful. The bell pepper was extremely raw and there were no onions. The home fries were undercooked with a very hard center. 4/10 My wife ordered the create your own omelet with grits and had no complaints about taste. 7/10 There were 4 more people in our parry. The party of 4 also had 2 fruit bowls in place of toast, but the 5.50 charge wasn't on their ticket. We ordered mimosas and after 15 mins of waiting, the server said they didn't have any champagne. Ok so I came in today with my boyfriend and the service was amazing (as always.) Our server told us about a QR code where we can leave a review and la la la but I am STUPID and LAZY and didn't know how to do it so instead I'm leaving my review here, which I hope it reaches her. Sacha (I hope I'm spelling that right) was super sweet and GENUINE. I love genuine strangers. I'm a huge detail person and I noticed as she said.. something (I don't remember) she made a facial expression that I make all the time lol. I love that! The food was good, and the atmosphere is always amazing. The lighting is perfect and I never feel ugly in here. We love this place so much (I've only been twice but that's a compliment because I refuse to eat anything twice unless it's worth it.) It's good food and not too expensive. We've been to Keke's in the Bradenton, FL area and now we've had the chance to have breakfast in this Tallahassee location a couple of times. This is a solid choice for breakfast. Serving size is usually on the large side so be prepared for a lot of food. The quality of the food has been pretty good and the prices are average. If you're coming here on a weekend, be prepared for a bit of a wait, it's a popular spot. It's especially busy when FSU parents are in town or football weekends. read more

Was pretty hungry and looking for a nice sit down. Passed Keke's yesterday and decided to give it a try with my wife and daughter. Service was nice, but reeeaaaly slow. I finished my coffee and water and didn't see the server for a long time. I ordered eggs Benedict with cheese grits, my wife had scrambled eggs with grits, and my daughter ordered chicken and waffles. I went to the restroom, and what I hope was water was all over the floor. Also no paper towels. It took 40 minutes to get our food, and another painful 5 minutes for my wife to get hers. The Benedict was so tough that I couldn't cut it with the side of my fork. The English muffin was stale, and the Canadian bacon was chewy. They put fried eggs on top instead of poached, and it was cold. The grits were cold and flavorless as well. My daughter liked her chicken and waffles and my wife's eggs were good, but I feel queasy and nauseous. read more

The food was decent, but the rest of the experience ruined it for us... although our food was quite tasty, it wasn't necessarily warm when it came out. It also took FOREVER. It was just the two of us and we ordered as soon as we our server greeted us, which did take about 10 minutes... and there were still people who got sat after us that not only got their food first, but also got their bill and left before we got our food. Most of the servers were standing around, including ours who couldn't bother to check on us. We had to ask the hostess just to get the jelly we had asked for 30 minutes prior. Ate breakfast with my son. Good breakfast place. I'm a basic breakfast food guy so eggar over medium with turkey bacon and toast. He has the three meat omelet. All was good cooked correctly. Toast was toasted (quite a few places don't toast rhe bread well). Service was great and while it's a little expensive to me - might be fair for Tallahassee. I recommend for breakfast. More of an upscale breakfast option but you get what you pay for. Everything was fresh, the coffee, the tea, and the fruit. The service is fast, personable, and efficient. The scramble bowls were excellent. Both waffles were overcooked with hard edges and separating in the center. At $10 plus per waffle, I don't think think I can be faulted for expecting cooked to perfection. Fresh whipped cream on the side is a nice touch. The bill for 4 with tip was $80. Keke's breakfasts are fantastic. Keke's breakfasts are also huge. From what I have seen, they also appear to have great lunch items. But I've never ordered lunch there as they serve breakfast all day and, as I've said, the breakfasts are fantastic and huge so I've had no reason to venture past that very large portion of their menu. In pre-pandemic days I enjoyed eating inside. The restaurant is bright and airy and service was attentive. But I've been doing takeout meals, and I'm pleased to say that Keke's does takeout and does it well. You can order and pay for your meal online. And the web site lets you fully customize your breakfast options. I have done two recent orders to go. The first was a stack of pancakes. Let me tell you, the stack of three pancakes is *enormous*. I could only eat two of them. And they were delicious. This time I decided to make my own combo: one pancake, eggs, and ham steak. This, too was huge. The pancake itself filled a plate. The eggs could have been their own omelette, and the steak was actually 2 ham steaks (the normal steak is listed as a "half" but it's really a whole slice. So if you order a "whole" slice you are really getting 2 slices). Everything was fantastic. Service is also very quick as your order goes right to the kitchen. I'm so glad that they offer take out of their wonderful breakfast food. read more

Not gunna lie, Keke's was underwhelming and I was super excited to go because I love the Orlando locations. Our server was lackluster, the food was just okay. My friends pancakes came out under cooked. They brought out bacon instead of sausage that I had ordered. Mind you this is a weekday around 1pm. I love this chain. I first discovered Keke's whole in Orlando and at there every chance I got (really, six days straight)! I even commented to my coworkers how I'd like to open a franchise in Tallahassee, and someone else had the same great idea! Food is exactly the same as I found to to be down south, and the service is as excellent as well. I'm glad to see the Keke's standards are strong here. By the way, the Cheesesteak omelette with extra cheese and sausage and bacon to sub the potatoes and toast is my go-to. Amazing. Another great visit and experience. The cafe practiced social distancing and all the staff were wearing masks. Customers primarily kept theirs on until they received their food as well. My waitress seemed "new" (nervous, slightly overwhelmed)... but she did a good job! She even apologized for missing my booth on a few table rotations. I ordered the Western Omelette with oatmeal and wheat toast. My food took a bit to come out, but it was worth the wait. Portion size was perfect and it wasn't too expensive ($15.04 with tax).
