They listen and really check to make sure I'm getting what I want the work done is top notch. I get dip powder on my natural nails with designs. My nails are so healthy and strong! I had been on a nail salon hunt for a while, but I finally found one that seemed promising. However, my experience at this salon was far from satisfactory. One of the ladies who worked there was particularly rude and dismissive. When I mentioned that I wanted to change my nail color to a nude shade, instead of showing me any examples of the color I was looking for she showed me a completely different look. Feeling frustrated, I decided to go with an ombré French tip instead (it was my second choice.) However, the lady who did my nails had a top coat that was the exact same color I had initially requested. I quickly changed it to the desired shade. When I was about to pay the lady taking my card, she made an uncalled-for remark about me being low-income. When I asked her what she had said, she laughed it off and said, "Oh, I just joking." When clearly she wasn't. I'm not a stupid person. Sad to say another nail salon bites the dust. read more

I have been here three times. And all three times the owner has been in a mood and hovering. This salon is also oddly obsessed with stiletto nails. I have asked for almond and oven shape and have gotten stiletto every single time. They offer a one week period to fix any issues that come up, but will give a ton of attitude and ask what you did to mess it up or claim they don't see the issue. Twice I have gotten my nails done and in less than 12 hours have had the tips chip. read more

They tell you the cost of your nails before they start which is actually pretty amazing. Sophia and her team are so nice and talented. Their forte is definitely almond shaped nails and they do a great job. My dip nails grow out unchipped and still look decent for a 3 week grow out. Now that I've been here 3x times, I recommend this nail place. read more

I really like the owner and how clean the salon is, but they have one technician who seems adverse to giving foot massages when paid for. She will rub my calves the entire time when she should be rubbing my feet, its frustrating. I don't say anything because the owner makes a big deal out of it which can be embarrassing. read more

I work in Auburn and live in Olympia. Traffic was awful, so I stopped in to Sophia's Nails to get a fill. I was greeted by a pleasant woman who asked if I had an appointment (they were busy) I didn't. No problem, they sat me down and handed me colors to choose from. Soon after I sat down with Kelly. She was so sweet. She did a wonderful job. I am so picky, and I left very happy. Great job doing the nails but once we payed they charged us more then they needed to me and my aunt got 2 pedicures and each was 35$ so 2 of those would be 70 and they charged us 146$ this is unbelivable. read more

First I'm a stylist with my hands in water and hair all day long - my nails are a must I use them as a tool :) I'm picky, I'm in the industry. It's my treat to myself - i don't like to be rushed in and out - Sophia takes her time making sure every edge is smooth - I've never been able to go more than two weeks between fills but with Sophia's nails (on my hand ) I've been able to go almost 4 weeks!! (Not great for her.. but my time ) I will add once I picked a color I ended up not liking at all 3 fingers had been painted, no complaint she was totally fine switching it for me (we added sparkles ) On to pedicures- BEST EVER !! different choices of fragrances sets so your soaking water,massage lotion, mask , and relaxing muscle oil all have the same fragrance that you get to pick :) Instruments are opened from a sterilized packet in front of you every time The salon is always clean - read more

My mom and I came in here today for pedicures and I came in for a full set with dip. Let me tell you, I'm very picky when it comes to my nails (as well as my mom). This place, hands down, was the best experience I had a nail salon yet. Sophia was very inviting and sweet and kept checking in to make sure we were doing good. The rest of the staff was excellent and very detailed oriented, especially Kelly. The place as a whole is very clean and adorable! Extremely expensive!! The place is extremely clean and smells so good. Customer service needs some tuning and they are a little pushy. When you call they quote you a price but when it's time to pay it's a completely different story. Also they expect a tip included in the payment and get nasty especially if you need change. It's close to my house and parking is a nightmare!! It's in the cycle gear parking lot behind memo's Mexican restaurant and it shares the lot with a brewery next door. Apparently you can park in the parking lot besides them where there used to be a gym. It's in Auburn across the street is Supercuts. read more

They have massage chairs. I think their pedicures are really good and I have very hard thick toenails. Once I had an ingrown toenail with an infection starting and my nail tech noted my discomfort. She called over a "specialist" who was able to trim my nail gently and relieve the pain and prevent a bad paronychia. There are many techs and, with one exception, they all did a nice job. I don't think they do any really creative nail art but I would recommend for a basic manicure or pedicure.

You can see and feel the layer of gel on my natural nail. I'm not sure what part she skipped or if it really just a result of poor quality supplies. Overall, if you're looking for gel-x, make sure they're using the Apres system. It has never failed me, and i've had sets last over 4 weeks with no problems.

I have been going to Sophia's Nails since they opened. Great service and very friendly and caring staff. They take time with me to make sure that my nails are perfect and what I want. My pedicures last for at least 2 months and my nails are incredible and last about 3 to 4 weeks. The salon is always clean and they have many nail colors and techniques for unique nails and toes! Clean, friendly, response to input, walk-ins always accommodate me (I usually go in during the weekdays). I get dip powder manicures and at other salons, the product does not last as long as with the product Sophia's uses. I've been going to Sophia's Nails for about 2 years now. The salon is always clean and staff are friendly and hardworking . I get dip on my nails and gel on my toes. The staff do a wonderful job with both. I like designs and they have been able to do the designs I ask for. thank you all for great service. read more

very good work love the way they did the dip, never had a nail salon do dip this clean and thin to my nail. No clumps in powder no thick coating no messy work all clean. I highly recommend them if you are very picky on ur nails they will work with you and make sure you leave happy! read more

My technician her name was Tina and she was very knowledgeable in her field explaining how ingrown toenails start by cutting nail to low then the nail curves into your skin and toe. She showed me on my foot as I have this myself. She carefully worked on my feet and indicated I would need to let them grow out but it would hurt. Anyway she was very pleasant very knowledgeable and polite. Took great care with me. I opted for the pedicure with the paraffin wax for $25.00. She also did a hot stone massage on my feet and legs. Pleased with my service and care, recommend! I noticed they have 4 pedicure chairs. It is smaller and there were two ladies. I will be returning to Tina.

I then said, okay well maybe you should work on fixing your website, because it let me schedule an appointment when you weren't open. She said that was impossible. The lady on the phone continues to be rude to me, so I said to just not reschedule my appointment. After hanging up the phone I received a text saying that I was banned for unfairly canceling my appointment. I never canceled mine lol, they did when their website messed up. Although I don't recommend going here at all because of how rude they were, definitely don't book online because their website doesn't work and if it messes up they might screw you over.
