OMG THE BEST NAILS IVE EVER HAD!! I went to Ruby's for the first time and I got both a manicure and a pedicure lemme tell you both were amazing! And the nails techs were super sweet and helpful I wish I got their names! (If anyone knows plz tell me!) I got just regular gel on my toes but my nails are why I am so impressed. I pull out my phone with this picture of an intricate nail design ready to hear that it cants be done but not only did they give me the nails I wanted, the absolutely CRUSHED IT!! I could not be happier with these nails. First one of the young guys cleaned and formed my nails and acrylic base and he did such an awesome job! Everything's even and smooth! Then a young girl did the art designs and she was so patient and precise with every detail. My nails look so nice and i am honestly so so excited 10/10! 5 stars! No. Noooooo. I can't believe this place has 4 stars. I really can't. The stations/gel lights are DISGUSTING. I had short acrylics and a gel pedicure. IT TOOK 4 PEOPLE TO COMPLETE THIS TASK AND OVER 3 HOURS!!! Ruined my whole day. Pedicure wasn't actually bad, but extremely rough, like, I had to say something by the time the guy got to the second foot. My gel kept cracking and peeling right in front of the people working on the nails, to the point every tech was surrounding me and each took a turn apparently trying to learn how to do nails?!?! And a boy that looked about 18 wearing dirty jeans and a tshirt tried to shape my acrylics after the first tech applied them (way too large for my nailbed after I requested thinner tips) and he was so bad I got sick of explaining "almond" shape and physically had to take the damn file and do it myself!! It was terrible and that many people touching me just is disgusting and unprofessional. After all of this I figure they would be granting me some kind of discount, and I go up to pay and she says $75?!!! I was so exhausted by then (nearly 4 hours and 4 techs later) I laughed and threw $80 at her and walked out hoping this review would be retribution enough. Take a hint from the location and condition of the furnishing. OH!! IT SMELLS LIKE ACRYLICS AND OLD CARNE ASADA BECAUSE ITS *INSIDE* A MEXICAN MARKET. So damn disgusting. THEY DELETED MY INITIAL REVIEW SO IM POSTING IT AGAIN So I went to this nail Salon today and it was okay. I came here for just a pedicure. When I walked in a lady sat me in a chair and held this thermometer up to my forehead to take my temperature. I was sitting in the chair with hot water, I enjoyed letting my feet soak in the hot water. I was sitting there for about 5 minutes until this guy came to do my pedicure. For some odd reason he drained my hot water and refilled it . I'm really not sure why he did that but when he re filled my water my water was luke warm unfortunately but no big deal I just sat there and watched Hulu on my phone while he was giving me a pedicure. Everything was fine my pedicure came out fine but I'm rating this place 2 stars because when it was time to pay I pulled out my card and the lady told me that they do not accept card payments. I'm the type of person who does not carry cash on them unless needed. So the lady told me that there was an ATM outside of the shop so she walks me to the ATM and I get money out of my account. Now my problem with this is that NOBODY told me that they only accept cash ! I was kind of annoyed because if I would've known they only accepted cash I would've went to my bank to get cash but instead I had to use this sketchy ATM that charged me an extra $3 to remove cash from my account. Online it says that they accept card payments also there is NO SIGN in the store that says they only accept cash. I just wish they would've told me before starting my service that they only accept cash. I would suggest before they start your service ask them if they only accept cash payments since they dont want to let their customers know. I came here as a last resort and will not be returning I can definitely find some place better. read more

I am very pleased with the service received by the technician Una. My negative review is on the management or should I say the Mom. I was given a customer loyalty card on my first visit. I forgot it one time and on my 3rd visit I was told it is only marked if you pay cash. Well today I brought my girls in for pedicures... paid cash and could not get but one mark on the card... conveniently Mom does not speak English or understand the importance of repeat business... (shop is always NOT BUSY) or customer service... because I will not be back... and I'm a great tipper... Call me Una when you change shops! read more

The salon is inside the Mexican place. You go inside and they are very friendly. They don't talk to you that much but they do the job very well and efficient. I had them do gel mani and regular pedi and pretty much almost 1 week the polish is still good. They also do hot stone massage when you do the pedi. Will come back! read more

Went this morning for a manicure and pedicure and the place was cute and in an unique location. A guy did my toes while an older woman did my nails at the same time, which I've never experienced before. The guy did a very nice job but unfortunately the woman did not do a good job on my nails. I walked out with chips, bubbles, and basically them looking like I did it and I'm not very good at painting nails. I think it would have been better if she didn't do them in the air while getting my toes done. I'm very disappointed in the outcome read more

Great experience at Rubys! I called in the afternoon on Mothers Day to see if I could make an appointment for my mom, sister and myself, and Lisa was able to get us all three in. I had a mani/pedi, my sister a mani, and my mom a pedi. The staff was really kind, went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable (they let us sit with each other even though we weren't all getting the same thing done - it was nice to have the time together). And all of our services were excellent. Included a great massage, plus the shop was very clean, great prices and again, the staff was very nice. I will for sure be back to Rubys. So thankful to have found Lisa & her nail shop! It's inside the market building so don't feel lost if you map this place and find yourself in the supermarkets parking lot with your phone saying "you have reached your destination" lol. Lisa is very accommodating. I usually come here on my lunch break so I need to be in and out within about 30-45 mins. Lisa manages to do a quick & QUALITY mani/pedi if I'm in a rush. The 2 stars just because they were working hard to make me happy. they hesitated to use a brand new nail polish for my french manicure. they used an old sticky product first and had to clean and damge my nails to make it better. Even at the second time, they keep adding tinner to the same old nail polish to make it smooth instead of changing that. read more
