However, I am taking one star off because most of the golden berry containers contained some moldy fruit at the bottom. I'm severely allergic to mold so this is definitely a pet peeve of mine. Now for the good! The store was very clean, including the bathrooms that were sparkling clean. There was abundant staff around, so I could always find help; including when I brought attention to the moldy golden berries. In the produce area, there were at least two employees if not three. I asked about the strawberry plums. One of the produce workers shared that the strawberry plums are wonderful, and because of strawberry flavor, the plums are ready when firm. I had been hesitant to buy them because they all seemed quite hard... but she was definitely right and that container of plums did not last very long with us at all... so good! In a time of both "shrinkflation" and inflation, Trader Joe's does a great job of providing top notch products with competitive prices. I buy a lot of things here, including pasture-raised eggs, half-and-half, whipping cream, organic butter, large 72% dark Belgian chocolate bars that I use in cooking, potatoes, organic produce of various kinds, ground, turkey, ground lamb, turkey at Thanksgiving, prime rib at Christmas, artisan cheese, Australian, red shrimp, the best beef bone broth, as well as chicken and turkey bone broth that I have ever purchased, and many seasonal items. I thoroughly enjoy how sweet, happy -- and knowledgable -- all of the employees are. It is such a pleasure to go there. It's sort of like attending a party with friends while grocery shopping!!! I would give our Trader Joe's 1000 stars if I could. Thank you for all that you do for Southern Oregon.

The newest owners (and staff) are friendly and helpful. My family loves the coffee they serve (and the uber delicious grapefruit, poppyseed muffin) and the ease of some groceries we need at urgent times. We appreciate the modern and healthy options that we ourselves implement in our own household. During the summer we enjoy their cold drinks and their individual ice cream sandwiches! I don't know except that you need to stop reading this and go get yourself a table! It was my first time in Yreka and I was there for a week. After scanning some yelp reviews, I stumbled upon this place. I walked in and was welcomed with such warmth that I knew I had hit the jackpot. So much so, I spent every single lunch at Nature's Kitchen. The owners, Flannery and Patty (and a special shout out to Cliff) are absolutely exceptional human beings. They are so kind, so lovely, and just radiate love. The food is delicious - HIGHLY RECOMMEND the bacon jalapeno quiche - and everything is homemade, even the dressings! My favorite combo of the week was the bacon jalapeno quiche, a side salad with their homemade balsamic, some chips, and a chocolate chip cookie! To say I was sad to leave Yreka because I would miss out on the best welcoming committee to date, is an understatement.
