The beer I wanted they were out of. So I ordered a vodka tonic. Got a vodka soda. Our waiter didn't know any of the drinks on the menu so I wasn't going to take the chance of trying to get it corrected. I got the Shrimp Louie Louie. It was just ok. Had to ask for extra dressing. The salad definitely needed some nuts or croutons for some crunch. I wouldn't order again. I did steal some fries off my friends plates, which were good. Upon receiving the food that's where it went a bit downhill. I ordered the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich. The flavor was definitely there, but the chicken was drier than the California Mojave Desert. My tater tots were pretty good. I had a bite of wifey's mushroom soup and it tasted like, well, gravy .... Literally. I was like where's the mashed potatoes? Service was good. Our favorite meal was the chicken sando "wing style" in sweetfire sauce. Sooooo yummy. The Philly sandwich did not impress us at all. A bit on the dry side and felt like seasoning was lacking a bit. The kids meal portion was a great size. The cheeseburger was big and yummy, according to our kiddo. We like to go to Rudy's from time to time. We are just older ladies. This time, I wasn't impressed. It was cold day, and I ordered salad and Beef Stroganoff. Not only that salad came same time as main dish, the Stroganoff was not good. It had no taste at all, noodles could have been boiled a little longer. I did take it home and doctorize it, than it tasted fine. Maybe this is a dish that you either take off the menu or fix it. The wife unit and I split two meals, the Southwestern Chicken salad and fish and chips. Fish was good, crispy and a little oily. Fries weren't real hot like the fish. Three pieces of sea meat with plenty of fries and cole slaw. The salad was good, the chicken pieces were spicy, but small. Dressing tasted good. I probably wouldn't order it again. I got their state fair burger and my husband got the Irish cowboy. Neither of us were excited about our food, and a little bummed this was where we decided to eat today. I am so glad we finally made it to this place. the atmosphere is a fun and easy sports bar but more open with great food and nice staff. we ordered all kinds of stuff at our table of 4. wings, corn dog minis, giant cheeseburgers, a chicken sandwich, a side salad, and a few other things. everything came out promptly and hot. they have really good ranch too, I was impressed. rudy's is kind of hidden at the corner of linder and mcmillan, in the back corner. you might not know it's there if you aren't familiar with that area. it's in a cute little square that shares space with a couple other places. Food is very good. Wings are solid and must try the steak skewers, awesome! Good, easy, family-friendly environment sports bar with tons of menu choices for all pallets and priced right. Would recommend the bar service and service in general pick it up. Watched 4 people come to the bar and take 10 minutes to get a "hello" because the guys behind the bar were just chatting. Oh and taking shots... and watching UFC while servers are running and jammed. The prospective customers left (----$$$$$). This last experience with service is the Only reason not a 5 star for this type of restaurant. I was talking to some friends the other night and they suggested I try Rudy's. I had said I had been to Gino's next door, and they pointed to Rudy's for next time. So, last night my son and I went over to try it for dinner. We sat ourselves, like one does in a bar, and we were quickly greeted, menu'd, and asked if we wanted a drink. Perfect! We ordered drinks, and since the Olympics were on, we asked to have the big monitor over the bar changed from Euro soccer to Woman's beach Volleyball (US vs China). Lots of TVs! The bartender didn't know what channel it was on, but it was on some tiny TV in the "family" section with low tables, and she went of there and then came back and changed it for us. Cool! Plus it was a great match btw, but I digress. So, let's talk the wine list. Meh, nothing on there to write home about, so did the house red to be cheap. Beer and mixed drinks are the order of the day here, which is fine. The bar seemed quite efficient even with less staff working. The place was clean. All the tables, as we looked around, were kept very clean which was nice. Nobody likes to have to pick their table because it was the only clean one around. Not the case here. All the open tables were very clean. Onto the menu... It's pretty extensive. I'm not a huge fan of extensive menu's, I don't think too many places do 500 dishes wonderfully, but I'm used to going to places that have too many things rather than focus only on what they do best. So, a wide array of choices. It is Pub fair. So, don't be looking for some fancy dishes. This place is like Homestead without all the noise, or Busters in Eagle. Mostly simple food as seen on many American menus. They did have something my friend mentioned, the 'Wedge Salad with Chicken'. I thought, that's kinda bizarre, but I do like a good wedge, and the chicken does add protein so you're not hungry 10 minutes later. My son ordered a Pub burger. Pretty standard, but that's his fault because they had some good sounding burgers, but he likes them plain. He enjoyed his, I enjoyed mine, the place was clean, the people were nice, not too noisy, good TV viewing, outdoor dining when weather permits. This is a good place to come. Not sure what to think? We went to go this location last night and a note on the front door stating liquor only no food? This is a sports bar? Nothing posted online that says Mondays are liquor only? Should've known that during what should've been a good night for Monday night football. Well we won't be back...my suggestion would be if you can't provide the 100% service you advertise then don't open until you can. Or offer a very limited menu that anyone can throw together. A friend told us about Rudy's, and while exploring the area we stumbled across it and had to stop in. The place is pretty big considering the center it is in. We were pleasantly surprised. Super clean, including restrooms. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We sat at the bar midday, and had the pleasure of chatting with Mel, bartender/manager. We asked her a bunch of questions about the area, and she was super helpful and just so down to earth. She also made really good mixed drinks! Beer was super cold too. Rudy's is a great restaurant most of the time. It's been hit and miss lately. Some of the meals are spot on like the Fish Tacos and Sliders, super tasty! The Nachos and Lettuce Wraps not so much. And the staff was not very concerned in correcting any of the short comings. We still visit frequently but try to just stick with what we know is going to be consistent. I've been to this pub several times. The last two times I've asked for a beer list, the response is "what do you like?". I like lots of different types of beer depending on what I'm going to eat. When pushed further about a beer list, I was told there are only 6 lists for the whole bar and they are outdated anyways. What? THIS IS A PUB!!! I asked what types of lager they have...Kona and Blue Moon? WHAT? Blue Moon isn't a lager. I ordered a Kona. I told him a beer list would be helpful and thought a list might show up. This was my first visit and I chose to bring my family and meet some relatives here. About eight people in our party. We were seated at a very large booth and the servers seemed very pleasant. The servers appearance seemed to be as if they came right out of cleaning out the garage or some other task. Not very hygienic and all sorts of grunge. Definitely helpful, and definitely pleasant though. The menu was pretty comprehensive. Whether you were in the mood for a burger, some fish and chips, tacos, or other pub food, it was a very wide variety to meet just about any desire. I ordered The onion rings as an appetizer, and while they were good they seemed to be the kind that were frozen that you just toss into a deep fat fryer. They were breaded so there was nothing really fancy about them. They are served with some standard fry sauce, which is a local delicacy for some reason (catsup and mayonnaise), or with ranch. My aunt ordered the skewered shrimp and it looked OK, people at the table did not finish it however so it may have been dry. I ordered the buffalo wings and they were very good. I also ordered the spicy sweet wings and they were just so-so. We had ordered various meals at the table. My wife ordered tacos which she liked, my mom ordered fish and chips which looked pretty good, I know that the tater tot's were excellent, and the corn dog bites are also pretty good. Overall it's a good pub stop I would not give it four stars but I would definitely give it 3.5+. The staff had great attitudes and were very helpful. As far as cleanliness, they could use a vacuum and some polishing of the surfaces. It looked pretty grungy. But after all, it is a pub/sports bar. read more

Walked in the door and was greeted by a couple people. Once we came in our server, Josh, he took our daughters order, because she needed to eat, then came back with our drinks. He came back in a timely manner to take my wife and I's order. Food came out fast and was amazing. I had the BBQ Brisket sandwich and it was one of the best I have EVER had. Meat was tender, sauce was amazing, and the portion sizes make sure you leave satisfied. My wife had the BBQ Bacon Burger and it was just as amazing. My daughters over the chicken fries and the service was some of the best I have had in quite sometime. My family will absolutely be back to eat there again. This place used to be great when we moved out to our new subdivision in 2016. Great service, great food and great atmosphere. In the past two years it's gone complete down hill. Stopped in yesterday after a bad experience 6 months prior with food. Last nights visit involved short pouring of drinks, a hair in our food and 45 minutes of watching the bartenders drink do more shots behind the bar then I think they served. I hope the owners are making enough money on that place to cover the theft of their own staff. Won't go back. There are way to many new establishments coming in to waste my cash on poor service, poor hygiene in the kitchen and a drunk at 4:00 pm staff. read more
