    Beer list
    Judi B.

I always look forward to eating at the Taphouse as I love the rotating beer list. This was a good night, as they brought back my favorite, Salty Crew, which I eagerly ordered. Our server was very friendly and eager to make us happy. My beer came over with a perfectly crafted foam top and that delicious flavor I crave. We quickly ordered and food came out unexpectedly fast. Hubby ordered the fish and chips, which came out piping hot...so much so, that he burnt his tongue. Fries were perfectly cooked and the tarter sauce was delicious. Brother ordered the Carolina BBQ sandwich and thought the pork to be nicely flavored, though not a true Carolina bbq (he lived in the Carolinas), tender and overall a great meal. I ordered the Prime Rib dip, which is outside the norm for me, but came highly recommended by a friend. I was hugely disappointed as the prime rib was so overcooked, it was chewy, dry and not at all what I expected. The cheese and horsey sauce saved the day, and of course, me having to drown the bites in the au jus. I wanted to give this dining experience three stars, but the beer and everyone else's meals were great for them, so that bumped this to a four star rating.

    Breakfast menu

Met up with some friends for lunch. We were pleasantly surprised to find they did brunch on the weekends. Two of us got breakfast and the other two got lunch, along with some snacks. Chips and guacamole and jalapeno poppers to start. The guacamole was great, the chips were definitely on the stale side. The jalapeno poppers were very good, not spicy and the bacon was crispy. $4 bloody Mary's were fine. On the spicy side, no celery, olives, or salt rim and exactly what I'd expect for $4. Great beer list, good selection of wines and a full bar. Service was very friendly and prompt. We visited for a while and didn't feel rushed at all. Everyone loved what they ordered. Their fries were excellent! I got the prime rib dip. Could have used either more seasoning or Horseradish sauce. It was hot and very cheesy. Big portion size. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Lots of tvs with various sports on them all.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great looking patio, but it's mid January and they didn't have the heaters on when we were seated so we had a table inside.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu we got was a bit smaller than what is online. I was really wanting to try the fish and chips or the tacos with a melted cheese shell, but neither were on the menus we got.

Went with some friends and was greatly impressed with the food! Got the club sandwich and it was super delicious. The rosemary focaccia bread was a great touch. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Was a nice vibe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Can't speak to the drinks but all my friends enjoyed their food too!

The burgers are amazing! The normal buns are great, the gluten free buns are ok. Very fragile. They are a very biscuit-y texture. Taste is fine, just kinda hard to eat with. They fall apart. We are always seated very quickly and drinks come fast! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They do get quite busy, so plan accordingly if you plan on going during sports![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a sports bar! [[HIGHLIGHT]]They have lots of tables, a pretty good sized bar and an outdoor seating section that is closed in and has heaters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Chicken Tacos *5/5 Stars

This was a good date night place. Love the fresh new feel inside. All the servers were young and looked like they were having a good time working there. I had a Taphouse Burger with Cheese and No Bun and a Side Salad with Ranch. 5/5 Stars My husband had their Chicken Tacos and he said it was absolutely delicious! 5/5 Stars We were still hungry so we shared their Nacho Fries and they were amazing as well! 4/5 Stars All our food was really great! Our server was very kind but we did have to get her attention a few times. Not a big deal though! It would have been hard to bring our young kids here to eat, service isn't quick enough but for date night this place is great! Thank you Taphouse!

We had a party of apx 30 people at the TAP HOUSE. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They could not have been more accommodating, they had the back area set up for us, table chairs and heaters.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] RACHEL and SAVANNA were our servers. There were 2 of them and 30 of us. We never waited for a drink, and if we asked for anything we had it right away. The most amazing thing was the food! All the food was brought out in a timely matter, and I watched, not one person had an issue with their meal. I highly recommend TAP HOUSE for a party or just a bite to eat!

This time I tried the Lucky Irish Steakburger with fries. This burger has Swiss Cheese and grilled onions on rye bread. Very good. There were five men in our party, and she offered separate checks, which I really appreciated. I'm sure I'll be back.

It's a nice sports bar theme, but also welcoming and cozy. Once we sat down, a server came over immediately with menus. It seemed like she was the only server though, which made me feel badly for her...she never stopped moving the entire time we were there with taking orders, serving, refilling drinks, taking payments, etc. We had a party of four - I ordered the "Hail Mary" (2 patties, onion rings, bbq sauce, bacon, American cheese and pickles), hubby had the double steak burger and my friends ordered "The Big Hurt" and "Bullet Work". Bonus points for having multiple fries options (regular, garlic, French fry dippers and sweet potato), but unfortunately for me, they were out of sweet potato. Food came out relatively quickly and everything looked pretty delicious. My burger was bigger than I expected, which I appreciated. The onion ring was the perfect size for the patty and the drizzle of BBQ sauce was enough to flavor the burger without drowning it. The only downside was that the bacon wasn't crispy enough and the cheese was barely melted. The patties had some nice, crispy edges and the bun was soft even though it was toasted. It might have been bumped up a notch with some mayo on the bun, an extra slice of cheese and lettuce, but overall, it was a nice, very filling, burger. The fries were perfectly seasoned, slightly battered and the fry sauce was a great compliment. Everyone finished their meals and raved about how much they liked their burgers. Due to the one server taking care of so many tables, we didn't see her again until it was time for the check. Thankfully the water glasses were enormous and I luckily made it through dinner with just enough to drink. We would definitely visit again to check out all the great options on this menu!

We…read morehave been here now for nearly two years, and we came here today, Friday, for an early dinner. It was not crowded, and we were seated right away. For some reason, we were seated in a corner booth near the bathrooms, while other customers were seated elsewhere in the restaurant. We didn't mind, however, because it was nice and quiet. And, for me, convenient. My wife had the Sirloin Salad, and I had the Ahi Poke Salad. My wife said that her meat was cooked the way she likes it, and the rest of the ingredients were delicious. For me, the ahi, sesame vinaigrette dressing, wonton strips, onions, and greens were very good. The food is always good at The Tavern. And, the prices are reasonable. Unlike our past experiences, the service this time around was not up to our usual. Our server, Hannah C., seemed in a rush and impatient. Though she told us to ask her if we had questions, I didn't find her responses to be pleasant. The first dish my wife was interested in had Boursin cheese. My wife had not heard of it, and she cannot eat a lot of cheese. She preferred something milder, like mozarella. When she inquired of Hannah, the reply was terse. "We don't have mozarella." "Do you have another milder cheese?" "Like what?" Not in a nice way, and not professional, in my opinion. And, she was loud. We waited longer than usual for our food, and when Hannah brought it, she just dropped the plates and split. To her credit, she did check in on us once during our meal. Now I don't know what kind of day Hannah was having. Maybe not so good. I don't know what kind of person she is, and I'll give her the benefit of the doubt that she is a nice woman. Hopefully she is not like how she was with us to all of her customers. I'm a 20% tipper. For her, it was 18%. I wasn't given a choice, but I would have gone down to 15%.

I was a little apprehensive, which unfortunately, my apprehension was warranted. We arrived around 5:45pm on a Thursday night and were asked if we could wait for 20 minutes. We sat and waited...and waited...and 2 other couples came in and were offered bar or outside seating instead of waiting (seriously?!?! We weren't given those options). One took the outside seating, the other opted to wait as well. We watched at least 6+ parties leaving, but we continued to wait. After 35 minutes, we were finally seated....and there were several empty booths around us. It took almost 10 minutes before our server arrived, so we had our orders ready. Drinks came about 10 minutes after ordering. Dinner came out at 7:15 pm. We had no idea this experience would be this long. Food looked great, but after one bite into my Cajun chicken club, I was really disappointed. The chicken was stringy-dry (at least my jaw got a workout) and the buns were borderline burnt instead of toasted. All the other ingredients (bacon, lettuce, tomato, cheese) were fresh and thankfully, enabled me to eat most of the sandwich. We rarely saw our server and both me and my husband ran out of drinks (we even finished off both waters) before she showed up for a refill. We didn't leave there until almost 8pm. Server was very nice, but the pace was a tad too slow...to the point of being absent. Hubby enjoyed his Tavern burger.

I have driven by and have heard about this joint of social media. A couple of my Niner homies come here during football season. So, it sounded chill to have lunch at this sports bar. Walking in, I was amazed at how stunning this venue is. It's a sports bar with the tvs but the decor and vibe doesn't make it look like your typical sports bar. This venue makes you want to act proper. And acting proper would be so hard during football season. It's too pretty to be acting rowdy. We sat by the cool flameless fireplace/pit. A sweet gal came and grabbed our drink order. While drinks were being prepared, we checked out the menu. It's a smaller menu but they have a little bit of everything. I got the Giggy burger, bunless with an extra patty. My husband got the finger steaks with fries. Our food came out and we were both ready to eat. My burger looked good. The cheese was nice and melty on top. I got a side of mixed veggies as my side. My husband's plate had a lot of fries. The finger steaks were fried golden. His plate looked tasty. My burger patties were supposed to be a quarter pound a piece. Honestly, they were thin and tiny. The patties weren't seasoned and were overly dry. The mixed veggies were just steamed broccoli and carrots. I'm sure the carrots are the same carrots used as a side for buffalo wings. And just like the patties, the veggies weren't seasoned as well. My husband's fries were good. You can tell they weren't house cut fries. The finger steaks were seasoned nicely. But the pieces were tiny and the steak was dry. I can see why 80% of the plate was fries. You aren't going to get full off the finger steaks. This venue is so pretty but the food doesn't match the venue. Our meal was sub par. Disappointing cause you'd think that food coming out of this kitchen would be killer. The service was great. The gal that served us today did a good job. I'm happy we got to check this joint out today. It's been on my to go list for a hot minute. Kinda bummed that the food missed the mark today.

Walking in, you immediately notice the huge LCD screens all around the restaurant, and it was perfect for catching a Monday Night Football game while you eat. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, offering drinks several times even though we weren't in the mood. We ordered a fried chicken sandwich for my wife and the three street tacos for me. Her sandwich was tasty, and my tacos were okay, though the chicken was a bit dry. My dinner salad was standard. I did ask for pepper, but it never arrived. Is is something they could keep in mind, as they (and like many places) don't provide salt and pepper on the tables. Service was polite, though plate clearing and follow-ups felt a bit minimal. It gave the impression that this is a spot geared more toward grabbing a beer and some bar food rather than a full dinner experience. Overall, Giggy D's is a good choice for a casual bite and watching a game. Just manage your expectations as it's far from a gourmet spot, but it delivers on friendly atmosphere and classic bar food. If you're looking for something similar, Rudy's or Brixx might be comparable or slightly better options.

I had a Blue moon on tap, with a glorious orange wedge. The beer was perfectly poured and had excellent flavor. I wasn't in the mood for the lounge fare, but luckily you can order from the full restaurant menu from the lounge. My friend and I opted to split the Signature Barrel burger.with cheddar cheese, bacon, brown mustard, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and a patty that is grilled to your liking (medium). We asked for a plate to split the burger ourselves, but the bartender was nice enough to put in the order as a split order without an additional charge. Our burger and fries were split and served on two different plates, which was greatly appreciated. The burger had a nice flavor though a tad under seasoned and a notch more than medium-didn't blow my socks off, but it's a solid burger. The fries were the star, as they were crunchy, yet pillowy soft inside, covered in a lovely batter. I wouldn't mind going again and trying out the restaurant side, it was a nice visit to the lounge. They only had one bartender for a large crowd and she hustled really hard to keep everyone happy...I just felt bad that she didn't have much help.
