Did not order food. Plenty of local beer. Place has a killer entertainment. Ceiling is lined with guitars. Packed with people even on Tuesday

We absolutely love Rum Boogie! Its always our first stop on Beale! The servers are great. You can't beat the decor, its awesome!

I can't decide to give this place a 3 or 4, but for how cool the vibe is I will give it a 4. There is a stage and they claim to have live music 365 days a year. I'm not sure if that is true since that means they open every single day and never close. not sure. However, the menu is limited. Typical bar food. I would say come here for the atmosphere, life music, but not for the food. I had a lime cheese cake and it was ok. Also they charge $5 cover. Just keep that in mind. It's added to the bill. The place does need a good cleaning. Everything is a bit sticky. The floor, chairs, table, etc are all sticky. I'm sure they wipe, but it needs some good cleaning. Anyways, it's a cool spot to come, chill, and enjoy the music.

My 1st time on Beale street, after walking all morning. This place has it all - LOTS of signed guitars- from past & present stars. Memorabilia everywhere. This led to an 11am cherry margarita on the sunny patio- don't judge - lol

Not the fanciest place on Beale Street, but the hanging guitars were very cool to see. I didn't try any food here, but I had a great time hanging at the bar, drinking local beer and listening to some amazing musicians playing the blues.

Didn't try any food here, just ordered two cocktails. Those were pretty nice. Cool ambience too with hanging guitar and live music. Service was good too.

Went on Saturday night and Freeworld was playing (Friday & Saturdays). Great sound and it was kicked up even better when the woman vocalist joined (wish I remembered her name) as she had a killer voice! We didn't eat anything but came for drinks and the music. We were not disappointed.

Best live music on Beale Street! Cafe through the door also has live music and food but we really loved the vibe, drinks and bartender over here!

Awesome atmosphere, guitars, decor, music. Surprisingly decent food! I had the rice and beans soup, decent spice, slightly sweet. Partner had the gumbo. Nice a think with stuff, nice spice. Shared the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese. Draft beer. Ok, cheap plastic utensils, but it's pretty good. During the IBC, I would guess the music is far better than the other times of the year, but that's a wild guess

I was in town for four days and this spot was such the vibe, I stopped by 2 evenings to listen to great live music and enjoy the vibe. The drinks were reasonably priced and staff pleasant.

I made a quick pit stop in Memphis for lunch at Rum Boogie Cafe on the way to CO. 360 views of guitars and memorabilia adorn the walls and ceiling at Rum Boogie with live music filling the air. Waiter was friendly. I got the sliders and salad which was basic, nothing special.

Music is great. Live music. Lots of signed guitars from other performers. Good service. Will be back!

The Alligator gumbo and crispy wings were unexpectedly delicious. The bartender made amazing drinks. I highly recommend this place in Memphis, TN for the fantastic food, live music, and excellent service. $5 cover charge

The food however was honestly meh (in my opinion). I got a creole dish and to be fair my dish looked beautiful. The plating was 10/10 but the taste for me left something to be desired. After eating this dish I questioned if I even like creole sauce because it really just wasn't that good. If this is a preference issue, I honestly don't know. I also thought the charcuterie appetizer had a weird mix of items on it from club crackers, to meat and cheese, and random veggies. Not bad but just kind of a weird mix. My husband ordered the salmon and he said it was good, not the best he's had but it was good. Other friends of ours got the white fish among the many other dishes. I did have a salad with these apples on it which was incredibly yummy. I will say though my dish looked amazing some of the other dishes were not plated well. Not to nitpick but to want to be considered a more upscale restaurant which means charging guest more money than say a local Applebee's then knowing how to appropriately garnish or drizzle sauce to elevate at plate is important (see my picture of the chicken dish). All and all not my favorite restaurant but definitely not the worst!!

The bar tender greeted us warmly, and told us we could sit anywhere we liked, so we chose a cozy, comfy corner booth. Hubby loved his Sweet Tea, "just right". Food came out fresh, fast and perfectly served. We shared the crispy authentic Calamari over a bed of Arugula with Remoulade, Sweet Asian and Marinara for dipping. When we finished that, we poured the Asian dressing over the plentiful Arugula salad. We shared a Trio of tender, juicy Certified Angus sliders. Wow! Hubby said that's the best dang slider I ever ate! I agree! The shoestring fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. Love that you can get up to six sliders. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.

Alright, lets get into this…read more.. Walking in I was pleasantly surprised...Flight is in a tough location because parking isnt exactly ideal but as soon as you walk up, a hostess opens the door and welcomes you in. I didnt get photos of the restaurant but they have a really cool split floor design, we got to sit upstairs. I recommend you sit upstairs it possible because the first floor gets louder faster if that makes sense. Plenty of very attentive and friendly staff so you will need for nothing while you are there. Now for the food...we started off with the SNAKE RIVER FARMS WAGYU CARPACCIO. It was . My only critique if I had one; I wish it had a little more carpaccio. Now before I get into entree's let me explain how "Flight" works...You can order a single large entree for dinner, orrrrrrr, if you're like me and LOVE food, you can order a flight of three smaller portions of the entree's! Bring your appetite (and your platinum card). I ordered a three entree flight of Bison Ribeye, roasted duck breast and the chilean sea bass. I would rank them in that order although they were all delicious. That bison tho.... The wife ordered a three entree flight of the prime ribeye, sea scallops, and the twin lobster tails. She wasnt a huge fan of the prime ribeye, she said it was a little tough. She loved the scallops and lobster (although she will never forgive herself for dropping a huge piece of lobster on the floor). Oh and her scallops came with this gnocchi that was TO DIE FOR!!!! We finished the night off with a three dessert flight of pistachio mousse, lava cake and apple walnut cobbler. The pistachio mousse was light and refreshing on a hot summer day. She loved her apple cobbler. We werent huge fans of the lava cake. It just didnt have that nostalgic lava cake taste and texture. That and the peppermint gelato it came with was very strong on the peppermint. Im sure some would love it but it just wasnt for us. Last piece Ill mention is just the effort and attention to detail. It was our anniversary and they brought us complimentary glasses of champagne (thank you). They are very deliberate in how they move, their table settings and our server knew her restaurant like a pro. Even down to the way they stage your silverware knowing how their flight plates take up table space. Bravo, Great experience! Definitely a little too pricey to be a frequent spot, but great for special occasions!

After leaving a nearby bar, our group stopped in simply looking for food. The restaurant was virtually empty, yet the manager, Charles, insisted that if any of us sat near one another, we would be considered one large party and could only have one check. I explained that we had no problem sitting at separate tables, and each table would gladly have a single check. That should have solved the issue. Instead, Charles instructed an inexperienced and unprofessional server to scatter us throughout the restaurant and warned that if we interacted between tables, we would still be treated as one party. From a management standpoint, this decision made no sense. Rather than maximizing an opportunity to generate significant revenue, leadership chose to create unnecessary obstacles. Ironically, spreading us throughout the restaurant would have required opening multiple sections, increasing the workload on servers and support staff instead of simplifying operations. Leadership sets the tone for a business. Good managers solve problems and create positive guest experiences. They don't create barriers that send paying customers elsewhere. At the end of the day, every business has one primary objective: to generate revenue while providing excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated poor judgment, inflexible leadership, and a missed opportunity to earn the business of 24 guests who simply wanted a meal. I hope Curfew reevaluates this approach because customer service, common sense, and hospitality should always work together.

Once inside, you'll quickly see it's highly decorated and has a claim to be one of the only trucker themed bars in the US. I swear it looks like it's been in business for 30+ years, but my client said only a couple of years. I looked over the basic menu and saw burgers, breakfast, salads, sandwiches, a famous pork chop, wings and a few other items. The client and my colleague quickly ordered devilled eggs, cheese curds, and chili cheese fries. The first two apps were really good, I didn't try the fries though. They had a burger of the day, and a food special of the day, but I settled on the wings. With those I chose the 10 pc, Buffalo with dry rub, smoked.
