    French onion pie
    W K.

We ordered 5 small plates/appetizers, 3 meals and a few drinks for 4 people. Had the escargot, onion pie, beef skewers w/fries etc. we didn't know beef was spicy so it wasn't that great for us but I'll know what not to order next trip. Onion pie was a favorite at the table, like having French onion soup in a fresh pastry with a side salad it was delicious. The Bbq pork was our least favorite we should've skipped it. Dinner was expensive over $300 for 4 people. Service was excellent. I think I'd order differently next time but overall we enjoyed at least half of what we ordered so we'll come back. Relatives discussed price hours later rather than the food so that was telling. Overall a nice place that I'd try again but pay attention to prices, we just weren't wowed for price we paid.

My friends and I visited a local park, an amazing place, after which we wanted to eat. After reading good reviews, we chose this cafe. It's cozy place , and have amazingly decorations in outside. Very-very nice waiters. But dishes was not good. I really like burato cheese, so I decided to order a splat with this cheese. But instead of a salad, they brought me a raw red beet, cut into four parts, with my favorite cheese in the middle. Maybe someone likes it, but not me. The next dish was potatoes with small calamari, this dish was cold. I was disappointed and had high hopes for the third dish and was disappointed again, the meat and beans were too spicy, everything burned in my mouth. I believe that such things should be written on the menu. Unfortunately, I will not visit this cafe next time

This plate once contained a delicious dish - a beef brochette with fries and a peppercorn cream sauce - but it is now completely empty. Another great night of food, drink, and family at Runa!

My reviews are based on customer service and quality! Everyone knows that we're in the middle of a pandemic. They still managed to provide amazing customer service! The food was to die for! Everything was so tasteful, mouthwatering and delicious! I had the half roasted chicken and my wife had the salmon. I can't wait to come back!

We've had a few meals at Runa since it's opened and have been consistently impressed by the food and service at this new addition to New Paltz.

After we parked we saw Sideshow on the way and decided to check out the menu. It sounded very intriguing so we decided to go there instead. My only complaint is that I really wanted one of their specials, the Smoked Turkey Salad Sandwich, but they were sold out. I was very disappointed as I was really looking forward to the smoked Gouda, but I can't hold the fact that it was really popular against them. Instead I settled on the Golden Goddess Grilled Chicken Wrap and the Jalapeno Corn Chowder as a starter. I think the chowder was missing a little something flavor wise (not sure what), but it had a nice kick to it and I was satisfied with it overall. Loved the cornbread on the side. The sandwich was great and the crispy potato skin fries were hot, fresh and delicious. The rest of my family inhaled the smoked chicken wings with the Jalapeno Mango glaze as a starter. They must have been good as I barely got a taste. For a main course my other half had the Sliced Steak Sandwich and my kids chose the Sideshow Burger (with a side salad) and the Spicy Shrimp Orecchiette (pasta) special. My son wasn't crazy about the special sauce on the burger, but otherwise everyone was happy. Two of us had enough left overs for our lunch the next day. I was really happy with the size of the starters as they were a great addition to the meal, but not overly filling where you couldn't eat your main entree. The inside of the restaurant was smaller than I expected, but it had a pleasant atmosphere. I was happy about the fact that although they had TVs playing the World Cup in the background the TVs didn't overwhelm the space. We did notice the employees had to bring new supplies/food in through the front door to take to the kitchen repeatedly while we were there. They don't appear to have access directly into the kitchen from outside, which is a little odd. A limitation in the design I suppose. Our waitress was very friendly and pleasant. We ended our meal with a delicious Chocolate Chip Cookie Strudel. We will definitely be back again.

After dinner we were looking for a decent bar to enjoy a quick drink before heading home. This place surpassed our expectations by a mile. Neon lights, edgy signs and the aroma of incense draw you in. The bar keeper greets you under the disco ball. You take a look around, cool clothes and even better decor. The bar is set up with mint infused water and glasses. I love the attention to detail, and anticipation of customer needs. After talking to the bartender; Thomas about their cocktail options, I settled on a draft IPA, although I had my eye on their Filthy Twisted Martini. Thomas described it as breaking all the trad martini rules and it sounded delicious, but he let me know it did have a bit of spice. I couldn't tolerate anymore spice so I decided to try that one another time. My Wife ordered their botanical lemonade, she loved it, describing it as the best lemonade she ever had. Y'all!! It's delicious, a must try, with the option to have it with or without alcohol. We decided to sit on their rooftop patio, people watching and enjoying the cool summer evening. Bathrooms were super clean. Parking on the street. This place will be on my mind until the next time I'm there. Signed, The Happy Hour Huntress

My sister got the steak frites, and she enjoyed it. I got the falcon fries, which were absolutely delicious and mildly spicy, a perfect seasoning to them. I also got the Grandma Detroit Pizza. At first I wasn't sure if I was going to enjoy it because it was different, but after my first few bites, I fell in love. The bread was thick and quite crunchy, but it was tasty. And the spicy chili flake sauce was too good to pass on. It wasn't too spicy. The service was fantastic and kind. The waitress that served us was very kind and didn't disturb us when we were busy eating. The ambiance was very cozy and relaxing. It wasn't very loud when we were served, making conversations easier to make. And the warm lighting gave us good vibes. All in all, an amazing first time trying out the restaurant that left a very good impression on us.

My cousin lives…read morein Modena, so we had to check it out together initially, and I've gone back a few other times with friends. But, I've decided I'm not going back anymore. It's just too expensive. Honestly $25.00 for a burger and fries is just so unreasonable, and all of the sandwiches are about the same price. The cocktails are insanely expensive and the beer is exorbitantly priced. Here they are brewing the beer themselves - there's no "middle man" to pay, and I was charged $11.00 last time for a 10 ounce pour ! The poor value caused me to hold off on ordering a second serving. And then I just decided not to because it was a rip-off. Also, on my last experience, I ordered a flatbread pizza and it was not good at all. First of all, when you hear the word "flatbread", you're thinking something on the order of crust that is definitely no thicker than 1/2 inch, BUT, this "flatbread" was THICK like Sicilian style pizza and that's not what I wanted at all. I asked the server about it, and she confirmed "Yeah, that's just how the kitchen serves them." It was hard to eat. The crust was super crunchy (no chewiness at all like a thick bread should have) and all of the ingredients on top were falling off with every bite.
