On the phone, they quoted $60 dollars to install 4 tires. I asked them if there were any additional charges - To which the man said, "No". Upon arriving, I was told $72. So I reminded him of the phone quote - To which he said it's extra to hold onto the old tires. They quickly installed the 4 tires, so I paid them $80 and told them to keep the change. Next day, THREE OUT OF THE FOUR TIRES WERE FLAT! [Refer to pictures I uploaded.] Well, at least now I had an excuse to get out of going to a funeral! So off I hiked several miles to Target to purchase an air pump. After filling the tires, I sprayed some soapy water on the tires to find the source of the leak: all valve stems were leaking air! So back to, Rush Auto Tire Shop, I went! Naturally, the guys remembered me. After telling them of the trouble, and showing them the source of the leak with the soapy water, they said they would fix it. Rather than feel embarrassed, they seemed genuinely happy I had come back to patronize their tire repair shop once more. Fix it they did by replacing the valves. However, to add insult to injury, they cheerfully charged me again! Now it all made sense: They had been expecting me to come back! [Refer to copy of receipt photo I uploaded.] As you can imagine, I pleaded my case to them! After all, it is standard operating procedure among all tire shops to verify proper sealing of the tires & valve stems by dipping the tires into soapy water and looking for any leaking air bubbles. As a direct result of their failure to install the tires & valves properly, and their failure to check them for air leaks afterward, I suffered a financial loss, numerous set-backs and aggravation. In fact, after looking around the shop, I did not see any tub of water or any other means for checking for air leaks after installing tires. As incredulous as it may seem, the only reason that I can imagine for them not having a means to check for air leaks is because sending out leaking tires IS part of their standard operating practice! Think of all the additional revenue that comes by sending out bad tires knowing well the customer will return the next day - Whereupon they CHARGE THEM A SECOND TIME to fix their 'mistakes'! Unfortunately, the shop was only willing to give me a paltry $2 break in the NEW bill. So instead of being charged $42 dollars, I was charged $40 to have them fix their previous days 'mistake'! In summary, it was not $60 to install four tires like they said over the phone - Rather the total cost to me was $120 (twice the quoted sum), plus $40 for the electric air pump at Target, plus the innumerable set-backs, time, aggravation and insult. Can you imagine the depravity that stitches together the fabric of this business? I noticed they don't like handing out receipts and demand cash, (I was forced to get cash around the corner at an ATM). It makes me wonder if they properly pay taxes! My recommendation to the public: If you decide to do business with this shop: Expect to be victimized by the highest grade of malice and fraud! Like the serial murder, the people of this 'business' are indifferent to the life of others! I don't know what dark traits drive these confidence men, nor how they lack empathy. My guess is that they derive more than money from their confidence schemes. I think they enjoy the power of exploiting the decent nature of hard working human beings! read more

My car had a little wobble at ~20mph and drifted to the right and based off my googling it could be an alignment vs tire vs air pressure issue. The mechanics here told me I needed to replace two tires because " the tire is bent ". Mind you, I know a little about cars (I know how to check if the tread is still ok) and once they told me that I paid my 20 dollars and bolted. Tires cannot be bent. Furthermore, they didn't listen to the problem or drive the car to diagnose the issue. I actually ended up getting a flat a few weeks later because a giant bolt got stuck in my sidewall - came back, they let me borrow a temporary tire (for free!) while they ordered a new one for me. The TPMS indicator light on my Audi S4 came on all of a sudden. I pulled over and took out my phone, went on yelp and search for a tire shop. The beauty of Yelp! Rush was the closest and had great reviews and best of all opened on sundays! I drove to them and instead of pushing me away because the job was so small, they told me to pull straight into the garage. Jason was the mechanic that attended to my needs. He checked all 4 tires and told me I was over-inflated. He checked and set all 4 tires for me. We chatted a little on Audis and movies and before u know it I was on my way with perfectly set tires. Very nice guy. Honestly this is such a small thing that most auto/tire shop will tell u to go to a gas station and DIY. Or they will try and sell u shit you don't need. But not these guys. I was first nervous about getting new tires for my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee because of not knowing where to go in Brooklyn to find an honest and reasonably priced place. I reached out to Rush Auto after reading all the good reviews on yelp. I request a quote and a recommendation for my new tires and Daniel was very responsive and helped me find what I needed. I got a quote and compared prices along and it was what I expected. He even told me I did not need stem valves when I thought I did. I also need to change my appt time and that was done easily. When I went to the shop, it was small and unassuming but don't let that discourage you. Daniel and his team were very friendly. Had a rough day yesterday - got a flat half way over the RFK bridge and couldn't make it to the other side without 1) police tow off bridge and then 2) insurance tow truck home. Plus it was a Sunday, so most of these shops aren't even open that day - but Rush was! When we arrived, I was met by the owner (can't remember his name) - nicest guy ever, huge smile on his face the whole time. It was quick and super affordable and he was happy to take a look at my oil when I said my oil was low, too. I pulled up, gave the mechanic the run down, decided on a used tire and called it a day. They take cash and card, staff is friendly and accommodating. These guys are top-rate. First time I went, I found a nail in one of my tires. When the guy pulled it, he found that it hadn't gone deep enough to puncture the tire, so no patch was needed. He didn't charge me anything, even though he had pulled the tire off the car. Second time I went, I was actually losing air in a tire. No wait, he had it fixed in minutes, and it was cheap. Wow, talk about service! I just got back from Rush and had the great pleasure of meeting Chucky and the rest of the crew at Rush Tire Shop. I had a tire that like most people in the city, had a large protrusion on the side after hitting a huge pothole. I went to the tire shop after reading the reviews on Yelp and boy am I glad I did! I was greeted by Chucky who immediately guided me into the shop where they had my car up on the jack within seconds. After seeing the tire, Chucky went to the back, got a very gently used like new tire and said it would be $45 installed! Within 10 minutes they had my tire replaced and back on my car. Then on top of that, they even tightened the bolts on my spoiler which was loose, TALK ABOUT SERVICE! If you are looking for an extremely quick, friendly, helpful and extremely reasonable place to get new or used tires, look no further you have found it! I went to this tire shop because of the positive reviews on yelp. They sold me a used tire for $50 that had been run with almost no air in it. I don't know much about tires but my non-emergency mechanic showed me the giant crease that went around the middle of the tire from being run with no air. Five days after I replace the tire because it's not safe I call them up and politely ask them to refund my money. The manager says no way, there's no warranty on used tires. I give him another chance to do the right thing and say I'm going to go on Yelp and dump on his reputation. He says do what you have to do. I had no attitude, I have him multiple opportunities to admit the mistake they made but I guess it's not a mistake. Maybe they used to do the right thing but now they're a dishonest scumbag tire shop that won't stand behind their tires or their work. Stay away, go somewhere else, save yourself the $50 they essentially stole from me. read more

Thought this tire shop was an amazing place at first visit but upon returning I realized it was just that. Great on your first visit. Went back a second time to get my tpms sensor replaced and he was unable to figure out how to install the new one properly but still charged for labor after it was his fault it wasn't done. Moved past that and went back a third time because 1 of the 4 BRAND NEW tires I bought the first time had a bubble in it about 5-6 weeks after buying it and he refused to honor it and replace the tire saying nobody does that when I am 1000% sure of 2 places that do it but my work hours didn't allow me to get to those places when I needed the tires.... I will NEVER return there and do business ever again. Pooor Freddie's or Whiteys tire shop will be the only two to get my tire business from now on.... read more

I needed all four tires on my car replaced. I called around to different places in Brooklyn to get quotes and to see if the shops had the tires I needed in stock. A couple of places I called gave me slightly cheaper quotes than Rush, but were very aggressive with me on the phone and had terrible reviews when I looked them up. They were corporate chains and had that feel. I'd much rather go to a neighborhood place. Rush had great reviews and seemed nice and trustworthy on the phone. I'm so glad I went to them. I found the greatest tire shop in bklyn on yelp! I had to replace a run flat tire and a severely bent rim thanks to NYC public potholes. I purchased a rim and tire then looked for a place to help me put them on. I nursed my battered Mini Cooper s to rush tire shop. As soon as I pulled up I met with chucky who was a great guy and right from the start made the whole experience way easier to deal with. Unfortunately chucky was unable to help me out on his own due to the low profile run flat tires which wouldn't come off. Thankfully he was willing to hold my car at the shop till his partner came in to try and fix my tires. They did the job and even reset the tire light. This was the greatest experience I've ever had with a tire shop and they will def get my business again when I hit one of NYC's famous potholes. Thanks chuck! read more
